It was late Friday afternoon in Deadwood and my car would not start. I opened the hood to check…read morethe battery connections. The connections were secure but I discovered that in addition to the electric fault the water pump was leaking. I called South Side Service and explained my predicament. Pat told me that if I could get the car to him he would look at it. I was able to push start the car and drive to his shop. Pat called around to locate a water pump and starter without success. There were no parts available. Not even in Rapid City. We drove the car up onto the hoist and Pat agreed to look at it Saturday. Pat called me Saturday morning and stated that he got the starter working by striking with a hammer to free the brushes. Not a permanent 'fix', but it started the car. Bravo! He was able to stop the water pump leak with a bottle of radiator stop leak. Another temporary 'fix' but good enough for me to try returning to Minneapolis. I stopped at the Chevy dealer in Rapid City to inquire about parts availability. The dealer also stated that there were no parts in the entire region. I continued on to Minneapolis without any problem. The point of this review is to commend Pat of South Side Service for doing what he could on a Saturday. Thank you, Pat. Lee

So our insurance people suggested Jake's. My wife took the truck there and before we even were finished with the estimate, the insurance company had paid the claim. Almost $10K damage. We were moving to MD the next week, and Jake's guys got the truck in, fixed it, and got it back out within 6 days. Terrific customer service and expert repairs. Even fixed an annoying rattle in the headliner. For a little town on the border of the Black Hills, it is amazing to me that people like these guys exist. Why would I be writing such a positive review? Service. My cruise control slipped out and completely stopped working on a recent coast to coast to coast moto trip this summer. Being at least 300 miles away from the dealership I decided to give them a call to see if there was something I could do on my end. RANDY the service manager was super friendly, considerate, and professional in handling the call and offered some advice to what it may be. When that didn't work and I made my way to the area a day later. I just went to the dealership without an appointment to take my chances it getting the problem fixed. This is about 10 days before motorcycle week in Sturgis. The dealership is busy and the service crew are slammed. However, I introduced myself to RANDY and wanted to know if there was any crazy possible chance the service crew could see the bike and give me a solution. RANDY took the bike right in, started filling out a work order, and let me know it will be covered under warranty. They fixed a broken line that was causing the problem in less than a few hours (knowing they still had privious bikes ahead of me.) Went over the work done. Gave me a pat on the back and sent me on my way. I know the bike was covered under the manufactures warranty. However, the professionalism and friendly costomer service went above and beyond. Thanks for sticking behind your product and treating ALL Indian motorcycle owners feel welcomed.
