If I could do 6/5 stars I would honestly. After putting a hole in my tire at 4 am on my way to work…read moremy day was not going well. I called up here and spoke to Daniel, he was extremely informative, super nice, asked questions to make sure I was getting the correct type of tire for my drive style, and more. Daniel and Dwayne were both extremely nice, informative, and explained everything. They didn't try to push the most expensive or extra stuff I didn't need, exactly what I needed, recommended something else and I ended up getting it cause it would help my car in the long run. I got all 4 tires replaced and an alignment. Also they let me bring my dog which is huge for us cause he has horrible separation anxiety. Seriously, 11/10 would recommend to anyone, super fast, reliable, explained everything, and prices were reasonable with market value.

I was traveling through the Deadwood area in my RV when I started loosing pressure in one tire. Les…read moreSchwab was able to get me in right away the next morning and check it out. They found that the leak wasn't the tire but the valve extender had been rubbing on the wheel cover and caused a hole. They were able to put a new valve extender on and send me on my way. They didn't even charge me for the visit! I stopped at the Les Schwab in Mitchell to get a re-torque on the lug nuts. When I pulled up into the parking lot a guy from the garage stall he was working in literally came running out to see how he could help. He did the re-torque, no charge once again, and sent me on my way. That is good service at both places.

It was late Friday afternoon in Deadwood and my car would not start. I opened the hood to check…read morethe battery connections. The connections were secure but I discovered that in addition to the electric fault the water pump was leaking. I called South Side Service and explained my predicament. Pat told me that if I could get the car to him he would look at it. I was able to push start the car and drive to his shop. Pat called around to locate a water pump and starter without success. There were no parts available. Not even in Rapid City. We drove the car up onto the hoist and Pat agreed to look at it Saturday. Pat called me Saturday morning and stated that he got the starter working by striking with a hammer to free the brushes. Not a permanent 'fix', but it started the car. Bravo! He was able to stop the water pump leak with a bottle of radiator stop leak. Another temporary 'fix' but good enough for me to try returning to Minneapolis. I stopped at the Chevy dealer in Rapid City to inquire about parts availability. The dealer also stated that there were no parts in the entire region. I continued on to Minneapolis without any problem. The point of this review is to commend Pat of South Side Service for doing what he could on a Saturday. Thank you, Pat. Lee
