I made an appointment and Ashley, I apologize if I remember her name wrong, welcomed me. I'm handicapped and too short to get into my sister-in-law's truck as I forgot my portable step. Ashley brought out a tire rim they used for a step stool and it worked perfectly! She even let us take it with us so we could do errands while they did maintenance on the van. She called and gave me an update on the work and also called to let me know they were done. This shop is the best! They've helped my sister-in-law with two issues on her truck at the last minute and still got her in and diagnosed the problem.

Happened to be staying at motel next to Cody's shop so went over: fifteen minutes and $20 later, I was on the road. Pulling away from the motel one morning to head to Deadwood, I noticed gas dripping from a fuel line onto my cooling fins. Could have been a massive flame-out but I caught it right as we were pulling away because the smell of the gasoline was so strong. Went back to Cody's: half an hour and $20 later, I was on the road. This time, Cody didn't have the fuel line in stock, so he modified an o-ring to fit in the line, replacing the one that had disintegrated (damned ethanol fuels!), and stopped the leak, letting me get to Blackhills HD the next day. Notice a trend? This guy's fast, fair and inexpensive. And an excellent mechanic. In Cali, ALL service and repairs quotes I've ever gotten start with "$100 plus parts." I wish Backlash were in Cali because Cody would definitely be my mechanic.

When presented with the bill, they told me they had to add an additional half quart to my Mercury auto which usually takes 5 quarts. Their charge was an additional $4.48 for the half quart. Total bill for oil change for my car was $60.42. I am 75 and have had multiple oil changes in my lifetime, but have never paid over $50+tax. Cannot recommend and will never use their service again.
