From bad to worse. As I stated in my 8/25 review - I had work done by Melia - the color did not hold (twice) and she refused to reply to any of my forms of communication trying to get the work completed. What is almost worse is that I have tried numerous times to reach the owner to talk about this - but (see image below) their website is not taking contact requests (and has been that way for over a month). I called and told the receptionist of the issue and requested the owner call me. Crickets. I also reached out to another artist there to see if they could finish Melia's work - Crickets. Clearly the business has communication issues, so given the ethical implications, and the permanence of the work being done - I WOULD NOT recommend. read more

I'm from out of town and was visiting for the holidays and really wanted to get a tattoo. Last minute went in search of an artist who was available and Jess was the first to say yes. Even over IG I felt like she communicated well and understood what I was going for. Come to find out we had a mutual friend which just made the whole experience so much more fun!! Arrived for my appointment and Jess was totally ready, it was super easy to trust her and her vision for my tattoo. She's good at what she does and she's fast all things considered. She's easy to talk to and fun to get to know which makes time pass faster. Honestly will probably get another tattoo next time I'm in town. Love the whole vibe of the shop. 20/10!! My friend and I impulsively decided to get tattoos today. Called around a ton and felt weird vibes from other shops. We called Queen bee and talked to Adam who immediately got us in for an appointment an hour later. He sketched the ideas making multiple opinions. Making sure we were as happy as could be with the art. He was the most gentle with his art and his kind soul made our trip. Everything happens for a reason and I'm so glad we could meet Adam and be apart of his creativity! Might have to drive 20 hours again for another tattoo!! I did not ask for, or was told by the tattoo person (Earnest Lane) that he was gong to add the background. Now the tattoo can probably be saved, to some extent, but the background I didn't want, will airways be there! Stay clear!!! Edit: The"cover up" was a circle in diameter. The circle in the center of the tattoo world easily cover that up. The background around the symbol was not asked for not agreed upon. That is a pretty big f*&k up. The numbing cream has absolutely no effect on the quality of the design and execution of the tattoo. And for the record not once did he say not to use the cream. Whether or not I use the cream is my business, it's my body. If you are going to use that as your excuse that is very pathetic of you. The two previous tattoos were naive symbols; basically trace the symbol and color it in. The simplest of tattoos. Amazing how you turn your f*&k up back on to the client. I will include photo of what was being covered up. So it can show just how pathetic your excuse is. Take responsibility for, in this case, his actions. Definitely will be telling people to stay clear of your shop. read more

I asked for manager, was told at lifetime their was none. They would not reschedule my touch up then, was promised a call soon. Another two weeks later, I call and demand my touch up. Was sent to sister shop queen bee. ANOTHER two weeks later, THAT appt gets canceled. I had to threaten litigation to get my free touch up. I did a walk-in tattoo appointment a few weeks ago and got Violet as my artist. They gave a lot of insight into how I might want my tattoo placed, had the design done super fast and PERFECTLY, and got me in and out in less than an hour. When I started getting a little faint from just being under the needle, she helped get me some sugar in my system and was super accommodating to make sure I was comfortable and good to go for the rest of the appointment. My tattoo has been healing really well, and I'm sure that's largely thanks to the healing guidelines provided by Queen Bee. The vibes of the shop itself are great, the staff are friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. I'll definitely be returning for my future tattoos. read more

We show up and the artist was gone , and the guy at the desk had HORRIBLE customer service skills, a massive attitude , ZERO I'm sorry, no "how can I make this right for you" , ZERO compassion AT ALL. Even rolled his eyes at us , threw up his hands and had zero compassion or ability to rectify the issue , no "let's reschedule" . There was ZERO communication from the artist, the front desk for ANYONE . This week was the most horrifying week for my mother , it took us everything to get this poor woman even so much as verbal over losing her sister. We got her up out of her bed where she expressed not wanting to be alive without her sister with the promise of a memorial tattoo for her sister to lift her spirits after losing one of the most important pieces of her life. And when we get there THIS guy In particular CRUSHED her all over again! With zero compassion , zero consideration, ZERO "I'm sorry let's make this right for you " . NOTHING! This evening I walked in hoping to talk to an artist, about a tattoo that I have been thinking about. In front of me walked in another gentleman, who seemed to be familiar with the place and work there. As he walked in, he began talking to another artist, who was working on a design for another customer. At the same time, there was a young lady, who was sitting at the front desk, playing solitaire on her phone. Neither the lady nor the artists so much as acknowledged me, let alone looked at me, so after a few minutes of awkward silence I left and decided that this would not be a place that I will be taking my business to. I came there and I had told her an idea of what I wanted over messages and she had several different options already drawn up for me to choose from. They had good reviews and I had made my final decision up about what I wanted. I walked in and Jex drew up my tattoo within a half hour. Then she took me in and finished within 45 minutes!
