There was a window full of truffles, hand made chocolates, and caramel apples. They had some delicious samples to try too. They had a soda shop area with seats to enjoy your treats. We had a lot of fun looking at the different bins full of candies that were unique. We grabbed a mix of treats before we headed out. We loved this store. The sweetest part of the experience was Russ, the employee that answered all our questions and helped us with our selections. He was the highlight of our visit. Everyone was really nice there, but the only one I caught the name of was PJ who was running the soda fountain area. She was super friendly and very helpful. We spent quite a while conversing with her about sweets and whatever else. This place is large. Yes it's pretty pricey, but there's so many choices. It was amazing to see. Not only do they have nearly every candy you can imagine, but they also have ice cream and they make milkshakes, and specialty sodas. I was there later in the day, and there didn't seem to be an overwhelming number, but that actually made it easier to make a choice. There was still a nice variety. Generally, there are about 20 or so kinds, all made locally. There's not much to say about a macaron if you've ever had them, you already know what to expect: a small round cookie made of egg whites, and sandwiched between those slightly crisp- on-the-outside cookies, a soft filling. Because this is noted as a "French pastry" shop, they make these the French way with the egg whites first whipped and then the sugar folded in. Although I like macarons, they'll never be a must-have treat for me, but they are certainly something I'd bring for special occasions because I must be the only one in my circle of friends who is ambivalent about them. Those liquor-infused chocolates, though? Okay, maybe those. There is limited seating available inside (and coffee, too), although these treats are easy to grab and go.
