Just passing through Billings and found a super fun candy store! The store was visually appealing with colorful displays and a ton of variety to choose from. There was a window full of truffles, hand made chocolates, and caramel apples. They had some delicious samples to try too. They had a soda shop area with seats to enjoy your treats. We had a lot of fun looking at the different bins full of candies that were unique. We grabbed a mix of treats before we headed out. We loved this store. The sweetest part of the experience was Russ, the employee that answered all our questions and helped us with our selections. He was the highlight of our visit. He provided the best service , and had a dynamite personality. We would visit again. Reasonable prices and worth the stop. read more

All I can say is WOW! My family visited this place today and they have so much of everything it was difficult to look at it all. I brought my 3 daughters and that was a challenge, but we stayed for about 90 minutes and purchased three sets of items, as we sat at the convenient old school soda fountain tables and ate all the goodies. Everyone was really nice there, but the only one I caught the name of was PJ who was running the soda fountain area. She was super friendly and very helpful. We spent quite a while conversing with her about sweets and whatever else. This place is large. Yes it's pretty pricey, but there's so many choices. It was amazing to see. Not only do they have nearly every candy you can imagine, but they also have ice cream and they make milkshakes, and specialty sodas. I thought a neat touch also, was the fact that they have a bunch of games you can use to play at the tables for family fun. Uno and sorry and things like that. Good to keep you in there and eating more sweets! Haha. The whole ambiance reminded me of the classic 1950s candy and malt shop. Overall, well done. Good times. I order fudge thru Amazon, since they are advertising their products on Amazon. I get a email letting me know my delivery is running late and it will be delivered about 2 weeks late. The tracking message on the new date say UPS no longer has possession of the product. I tried contacting the company but they have an AI chat that does not allow you to reach a live person. I am highly disappointed that there were so many delivery issues and not once did your company reach to explain. I am leaving this so other people are aware of your lack of customer service. read more

They definitely raised their prices,it might be to compensate for the new store move or higher rent,or just because ,we will most likely never know.... WOW, I'm not sure outside of NYC or Vegas have I seen one location with so many sweets to choose from! Everything from their wall of candies, gummies, licorice, etc at $9.99/lb (mix and match) to shelves of classic, old fashioned, and unique individual candies. Then, fudge! And ice cream! And I'm sure I'm forgetting something...there's a lot to take in here! Something for every sweet tooth! And they're pretty generous with the samples (mix and match candy, fudge and ice cream) if you ask really nicely :) They also sell some cute and unique crafty gifts items as well. My husband piled a mix and match bag of candy with all variations of black licorice candies (ick!!). My 5-year-old daughter chose a roll of Sweet Tarts (she'll learn). The 10-year-old ain't no dummy and ordered a double scoop ice cream cone - mint chocolate chip and coffee ice cream. And I had a brownie sundae with the Moose Tracks ice cream and peanut butter sauce instead of caramel (the adorable young man behind the counter was reading my mind and my love of peanut butter with his recommendations!). My brown was a little hard, but I was so impressed with our overall experience it doesn't even make me want to take away a star. The staff here was fantastic with great recommendations and offering help around every corner. The place was organized, but just enough chaotic to put you in awe at how much they really have there. My unending sweet tooth and inability to say no to food-related items was in my favor here. They have walls of bulk candy bins, shelves of old fashioned treats, counters of homemade (in-shop) fudge, chocolates, and other special treats. The kicker is the old fashioned soda counter. After we browsed the candy portion of their store to pick up some of our favorites before heading home on this beautiful evening. While checking out, we were offered a sample of their fudge. I chose Huckleberry Lemonade. Candy Town USA is one of our favorite ice cream shops here in Billings, Montana. Their staff is friendly and helpful and some of the best ice cream artists. When I visited Billings recently I really wanted to stop by this store to pick up a few Huckleberry items for my Dad (who grew up in Montana but now lives out of state). I was really surprised with how much candy was jam packed into the store. The aisles are a bit cramped (no strollers here unless you go to the old fashioned soda fountain area) which is fine by me because I'd rather see more candy. There's lots of fudge, lollipops, gummy candy, taffy and everything else you can think of. I even saw a gigantic gummy bear weighing 5 lbs selling for about $40. If I lived in Billings, this would be the first place I'd stop by for any novelty candy. The staff was young but very friendly and helpful. They served samples of fudge and candied cashews when I visited. I really hate cashews but what they served was really good! We enjoyed our visit and hope to stop by again. read more

Very cool place. So much more than candy! We had to get a little of everything! It was also cool to see the small section of Mexican candy! That was great! From several flavors of candy apples, diferent types of fudge (even a watermelon and ajalapeño fudge), to crazy flavors of fresh popcorn, old fashioned ice cream and tons of candy/chocolates and gifts! This is the greatest candy store and vintage memorabilia store. Great owners and staff. They even have a soda fountain.

Love this place! The old fashion soda bar is so fun! I think they go above and beyond for customers here. My brother and my favorite treat when we were younger was chocolate covered potato chips and I called to see if they had any and they did not but offered to make me a pound and had it ready the same day when I got off work and it was the perfect addition to my brothers birthday gift. They were so delicious. I definitely stole a few out of his gift box before I wrapped it up! Thanks candy town! read more

OMG- ice cream - emphasis on cream. We had been told about Candy Town and on our way back to our hotel saw it and stopped. We noticed they sold ice cream cones so we grabbed a couple and they were delicious. We walked around the store after we ate our ice cream and the selection takes you down memory lane. They have a bunch of fun gifty items and some unique things for sale. They have about anything you'd ever want to ruin your dental work! It's a little pricey but the service is great and the selection is out of this world so it is worth it. We shopped a little bit after closing and the staff were still friendly. They didn't rush us to leave - they actually let us linger until we were ready to check out. read more

Huckleberry sundae! These are hard to find so you should get it! I did a single dip, but wished it were a double. Omg so good! Huckleberry ice cream with huckleberry sauce. Classic Montana. Green river my BF got tasted weird. But then again, Green Rivers are kinda gross anyway. Girl working there seemed like she didn't enjoy working there. Maybe she was just tired. I was happy to discover we were there on 'Taffy Tuesday', where saltwater taffy is 50% off! The fudge is delicious, with many flavors to choose from. It's also a great deal- with a 1/2 lb. free w/purchase of a pound. The gourmet popcorn is delicious! I loved the look of the ice cream/fountain area, although we didn't try it this time.
