The drinks were tasty and energizing as caffeine should do haha, and the baristas steered my fiancé and I in the right direction when we asked for their options in drinks. We sat outside and enjoyed the city square!o read more

One word " Ambiance". If it isn't the waking smell of freshly brewed coffee that'll get you to stumble inside, perhaps the scenic views of downtown McDonough right outside of the sitting courtyard will get you there. If scenic views isn't your forte, be sure to check out the business lounge inside of the shop. See, I'm a local business professional. Im always looking for a wifi inclusive spot with a healthy environment to meet with clients. Queen Bee Coffee has managed to accommodate a few of my meeting locations. shall I say more? because I can.. lets just say. Im a coffee enthusiast and I like to come here to get my fix. read more

I was visiting my family who live in McDonough. They had never tried this little coffee shop so we thought it would be a great idea to try this new spot. We were NOT disappointed. All staff were super friendly. The cashier gave us a friendly suggestion to try the caramel macchiato (I think that's what it was called) and it was delicious! They are now serving their drinks in their glass mugs and they offer milk alternatives.. my cousin ordered almond milk instead of 2%. We also ordered a chocolate croissant, cinnamon bun and ham/waffle pastry. All were delicious! Also, we took a hot coffee jug to take home. If I am ever in town again, I would come back to Queen Bee for sure. read more

Have you ever driven by a place and said "I can't wait to go in there"? Well this was me for like 2-3 years, Ive never gotten the chance to go in until now. I haven't tried a lot on the menu because I've only been twice but let me tell you, those cookies are everything . It kind of tasted like salted caramel chocolate chip cookies. If you're a cookie person try those cookies!!!!!! I also had the salted caramel hot chocolate but If I'm being quite honest the cookie tasted more salted caramel than the hot chocolate. It was not bad at all but personally I think it's something you can definitely make at home. read more

Love this sweet cafe. So lovely to enjoy a tea under a shady tree . Nice vibe and good treats and drinks. Such a lovely relaxing space.

Love love love this place! Provides a place of open space and amazing coffee! I keep saying the only thing this place is missing is serving actual food,Like maybe breakfast burritos or bacon Egg and cheese bagels, something that way it can be a one stop shop instead of bringing food there from other places..But I would still go either way,Try the Panama joe with extra Caramel! The home made whip is AMAZING!!!! Add an extra shot of expresso for a quick pick me up read more

This might be one of the cutest little coffee houses you ever did see. Lots of choices where to sit and hang out. Great for meeting with friends and hanging out in the shade of a giant tree out back. Parking along the street and on the square. Bring quarters to pay the meter. They have an adjoining space now that you can rent out for events. It's very cute. read more

Staff was nice, as always. They have many options for you to sit, including a semi-private room away from the noise of the regular traffic. I come here a lot to plot and plan on my life. The music is lovely and you feel at peace when you're there. I would definitely recommend! Come and sit and enjoy your own coffee and company. Va vie est belle. read more

Queen Bee Coffee Co has hit their stride and found their niche. After years of avoiding Queen Bee after some disappointing coffee when they first opened years ago, I stopped back in recently (thank you to all the staff wearing masks during the pandemic!) and was impressed with how much better their coffee options and flavors are now. I got an iced mocha and my husband got a latte. Both were flavorful, coffee-forward and not too sweet. We also purchased a bag of coffee beans to take with us and enjoyed their gourmet coffee at home for a great price! Queen Bee has expanded their seating areas and each space is friendly and inviting. It's so nice to have a genuinely good, cute coffee shop in downtown McDonough that isn't just another Starbucks. read more

I'm a long time customer of Queen Bee Coffee. I always love coming in to grab my coffee, and the baristas are always outstanding. That being said, I've always tipped them well. However, recently I've heard rumors that baristas here do not receive any tips paid with credit card (which is how I always tip, and I think most other people do as well!). This rumor was recently confirmed as true. This was very upsetting to hear, as I've been tipping with card a long time, THINKING that the tips that I gave towards the barista's excellent service was going to them. As tips are supposed to work. How is this legal? I will not be tipping anymore, as I don't see the point if it's going to someone else's pocket besides my server. read more

Cute coffee shop. Great atmosphere with polite staff. The outside patio is perfect for you and your puppy to hang out.

I've had Queen Bee Coffee Company on my bookmarks for several months ever since I made plans to visit a friend in McDonough. It looks like a little country house from the inside-out, and the environment is exactly what you would expect it to be: cozy. The set up is literally a home with a "living room" that has table tops and a "bedroom" that has a few couches and a long wall-mounted table with several rolly chairs. Finally, they have a lovely outdoor patio that I didn't get a chance to enjoy. I was told that every so often, they will have live performances, and cold weather has no bearing with a patio heater nearby! They have a little parking lot just behind the place that will fit anywhere from 6-8 cars. I ordered their seasonal gingerbread latte and loved it. The drink is not overly sweet, the espresso flavor is deep, and the spice is on point. The more I sipped, the better I found it to be. All of their baked goodies are prepared in-house. My friend ordered his usual coffee along with a huge chocolate chip cookie that he ended up giving to me! So good... They don't play your typical "coffeehouse tunes," of jazz or indie-folk, but I loved it all the same. Their playlist ranged from Elton John's "Tiny Dancer" to Eva Cassidy's "Fields of Gold." They have a sound system, so in each room you can individually calibrate the volume based on your preference. read more

This is a nice coffee shop with a good selection. The staff is accommodating and I live their seasonal coffee.

As soon as I opened the front door the aroma had me... such a cute place to grab a seat with a cup of something. If you're driving by it's easy to miss but it's right on the corner of the happening little town of McDonough. I tried a coconut mocha. Now, it was neither coconutty or mocha-y but rather tasted like a good flavored coffee and that was okay. I also had to have something sweet, fortunately for me, they had key lime pie but unfortunately no other kind of pie for me to try. The lady behind the counter (the owner perhaps?) was real sweet and had that southern charm about her. If you're near these parts there isn't much to do so it's a cute shop to sit and do some work or catch up with friends. read more

WHOA!! (In my Joey from Blossom voice) This place is like a dream come true for coffee and nature lovers alike. I'd be the first to admit that I was shocked to find this magnitude of awesome sauce right off the McDonough square but that goes to show you that magic is everywhere, you just have to be looking for it. You walk up and this place looks like a little house on the street corner. Very cute. The inside is comfy, yet eclectic. Staff? Super friendly, helpful, cheerful. Now, I consider myself to be a coffee drinker so when they told me they have a GINGER HONEY latte my eyes widened. What is this witch-craft?! To say I loooooooove ginger would be an understatement. I try to latte with a few pumps of vanilla added to it and was hooked! NOW --- THE OUTSIDE--- IT ROCKS Cutest little outdoor area with tables and chairs under a beautiful tree. I love it with all my heart. Reminds me of my childhood and simpler days. If you're in the area, grab a latte and sit under this tree. I sure did. Shoes off and all. (Hopefully I don't get out out. Ha!) read more

A weekly tradition for me! Beans are roasted on spot. The Panama Joe is a forever fave and the thing to get if you like a sweet cold brew. All the pastries are made fresh or locally at Holy Sweet Donuts. Everyone is kind! Take a picture at the mural, enjoy live music on the weekends, and getchu a cinnamon roll on Saturdays! Other favorite treats are regular latte, Nutter butters, and cornflake candy! There's plenty of seating, study rooms, and the Dream Tree outside magically drops the temperature like 15 degrees. read more
