I was so happy that I was able to get a seat at the bar to watch. To my surprise it was even Sunday HH!!. The bartender was really busy, but doing a great job. I had two drinks, a margarita and a specialty drink, Kiss on the . The Kiss on the was my fave. I've heard about their wings so I wanted to try them...I loved that there were so many sauce options. I was told to try the cheese steak egg rolls next time....and there definitely will be a next time. There was a good vibe with the crowd which I very much appreciated. I didn't feel like any dumb shenanigans would jump off which is very important to me. I've been searching for a regular spot since my last spot shut down...I may have found it!!

The bartenders' skill set seems limited to cracking open a beer or the occasional home event, so adjust expectations accordingly; a cold Coors Light is about as adventurous as it gets. Most of the staff is friendly, though one manager who appears to be well past her customer-service era might want to consider retirement--her attitude does the atmosphere no favors. I hope they let their grandmother retire and rest up for the next life. She clearly has had a rough last couple of years. That said, the place itself is friendly enough and mostly clean, which counts for something.

$25 Bottomless Maragarita Fridays!…read more Saw this special advertised so my homegirl and I planned to check it out. I haven't been to Fast Eddie's in years so the upgraded ambiance did not go unnoticed. The special ends at 8 PM EST and is only valid with a purchase of an entree we arrived around 6:15 PM EST. They did not disappoint on the food! Shout out to the chef! It was well worth the price. The quantity was large and the quality was beyond tasty. They had two types of Margaritas to choose from: Mango and Strawberry. Unfortunately this isn't one of those "heavy pour" spots. The Margaritas were weak - I assume because they were bottomless. That was disappointing. The service was SLOW. Our first waiter hassled me to order because "you can't get bottomless without ordering food" I already knew that but just wasn't ready to eat just yet. Finally, when I was ready to order, he took his time getting to our table. It was apparent his shift was ending because he passed us on (read: pointed to our table as he spoke to a colleague) then just left. No warning, no closing out, just gone. After he left we had a hard time getting the attention of someone behind the bar to come to our table to close out our check. This is the reason for 4 stars. I will definitely be returning for the food if nothing else. My friend got lamb chops with seafood Mac and yams ($33 USD) while I got the smothered fried pork chop with baked mac and cabbage. ($25 USD) all entrees come with sweet potato corn bread

Most of the time fish is a hit. But every now and then ( last night) to be precise, my fish was over cooked. I had to bite and pull with my teeth. By the time I started eating and realized it was overcooked, the kitchen was closed. The drinks don't always taste like what you asked for but they are strong if that's what you like. They have a police officer at the door most nights, which makes it feel a bit safer. It's definitely a cheers type of bar, everyone knows everyone. Music is old school for the most part, but they have a jukebox so the music can be adjusted. It's a nice hole in the wall. The bathroom really sucks. You have to dam near turn sideways and use the stall with the door opened. That's the one thing I hate about this spot. Seems like they tried to turn one unisex bathroom into 2 stalls. I'm pretty sure the men's room looks the same.

Upon our arrival around 10 minutes before 8 PM, we were asked for identification as we proceeded to the bar. Everything seemed fine until we left around 10:11 PM. As my husband retrieved his cigarettes from his coat pocket and grabbed our clear food container, a security guard, a heavy-set gentleman in a purple sweatshirt and blue jeans, without any visible identification or formal security apparel, hustled behind us, inquiring about a drink cup. Despite having food, we were treated with suspicion. A second security personnel member followed (Not schedule to work named Charles W.), dressed in casual street clothes without any visible identification or formal security apparel adding to the discomfort with an aggressive demeanor. I voiced my concern, stating, "We are not like that." This wasn't just an innocent misunderstanding; it felt like profiling. As my husband enjoyed his cigar, the second security guard continued to watch us, which was both unwarranted and unsettling. In an environment that claims to embrace Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, we saw none of that during our visit. Questions for the owner of Hideaway Restaurant: 1. Why do your security staff not wear recognizable uniforms or badges? How are patrons supposed to identify your security personnel? 2. What protocols are in place to ensure that all staff, especially security, are trained in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion standards? 3. How do you handle incidents of alleged profiling or discrimination, and what measures are taken to address such concerns? 4. Can you explain the training procedures for security personnel regarding interactions with patrons, especially in terms of recognizing and addressing possible biases? 5. What actions will you take to ensure that no other patrons experience what we did? 6. Are your security personnel certified and properly trained according to Maryland state regulations? We believe that everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity, irrespective of their background. I urge everyone who has faced similar issues to share their stories. Please share your thoughts and experiences as we stand together against harassment and discrimination!
