This is one great BLACK OWNED establishment. I stepped into this spot with a few friends and was welcomed by great customer services. They provided us with the COVID regulations to abide by in order to enjoy the experience. We were told that we must purchase a cigar in order to enjoy this establishment, which was totally fine because they had mild cigars for those who are inexperienced. They provided us with instructions on lighting the cigars which was also a plus since this was our first time at such establishment. Please give this place a visit if you are in the area. read more

Woot woot, ring the alarm it's a new Sheriff in town! It's called Petworth Cigars and you will be locked into the scene the moment you arrive. The ambiance of the jazz as you walk in makes you feel like you have arrived into a scene from casablanca. Grown and sexy is the vibe. I had the pleasure of attending the soft opening event and the owners were so friendly, attentive and welcoming. Their priority was to make sure everyone was comfortable yet also following social distancing rules during this pandemic. The staff is amazing especially Geri. I have to say hats off to Dyane & Chris( The Queen shall always be named 1st) for still moving forward with their vision during such uncertain times. This will be a jewel for years to come. After such a wonderful 1st experience and meeting new smoking buddies, I raved about it to my friends and have been back on several occasions. Without fail the experience just keeps getting better. There is an outside patio area if you are daring enough to tangle with the mighty cold. Or if you are just wimpy you can enjoy a stick in the comfy lounge area and fall deep into the leather seats with each puff of your stick. Ahhhh choices choices. Lol. I even stopped by for a night cap for Turkey day and to my surprise they had a FREE Thanksgiving meal set up to feed their patrons. How classy is that? Soooooo not the classiest, not the cleanest, not the best, but just enough. Found this spot on accident after going to 1865. Definitely a local establishment frequented by their usual patrons. The staff was very friendly. Small quaint place, a little hood, but cool enough to have a smoke in. Only complaint was the smoke. The ventilation absolutely sucks. Opening the door helped but it was pretty bad. Probably won't visit again, but it was a cool spot. read more

I first visited Petworth Cigars after meeting one of the owners at Honeymoon Chicken next door a month ago. I really recommend this lounge given its excellent assortment of cigars and whisky selection. I'm a big fan of this lounge because it's black-owned and the layout is ideal for kicking back and taking a load off to enjoy a few sticks. I live around the corner and I look forward to patronizing this business whenever possible. Fantastic cigar selection! A nice and chill vibe and great service. A friend of mine visited initially and brought me about 3 cigars based on my preferences and recommended by the Owner. I then returned myself and was greeted and tended to by the Sister of the Owner who is so pleasant and sweet. They had each cigar I was looking for and I was taken care of promptly.
