The contact guy behind the desk who answers the phone thinks he's clever and funny....not. They had our camper for more than four months yet most of what we needed done had not been accomplished. Mistake was to put money upfront. Once money was in hand they put us on the backburner. We missed several camping opportunities because of the poor service. They initially estimated the entire job would take 2-3 weeks. We did not add to there work load after having left our camper there. The person we talked with while getting our unfinished camper out of their facility was drinking beer and tried to hide it. He had an open ice chest with beer in it behind his desk. There are plenty of other legit RV repair outfits in this area...you do not need the headaches these clowns will give you.

I moved to Fort Bragg and got inundated with the usual rain here causing leaks and water damage. When I got on the roof to look at what was happening I saw that I did not get the service job I paid for. Kelly refunded $1,000 I had asked for as compensation. In hindsight I should have asked for more because I've spent countless hours trying to figure out the source of the leaks. I'm sorry I trusted them. I don't know what to say if you guys choose to go with them I would think twice or make sure you can verify the work that was quoted actually got done.

He fixed the leak and at first I thought we'd finally found a reliable RV tech. We ordered a slide motor and even paid to have it shipped quickly to Monterey. I kept Erik updated by text about when the part would arrive, but got no response. I called and he said his schedule was busy and he'd call me back -- but he never did. We left Monterey for a month and then returned, and still not a single text or call from him. Terrible way to run a business, especially after such a positive first experience and good online reviews. Be careful when hiring -- the follow-through just wasn't there.

And besides the main attraction at the Monterey Bay Aquarium, I really enjoyed taking our daily casual walks along the beaches and at the marina itself. There were many observation areas and rest stops along the way. I couldn't get enough at taking advantage of the photo opportunities whenever we could. If you are a nature lover like we are, you get to see a variety of wildlife going about their routines, hunting, eating, resting and sun bathing. And yes, sunbathing seems to be a favorite pastime for many of the marine mammals there! Much of the nature trails are in a park like setting where you can get panoramic views of the bay, the docks and pier. Their is plenty of shopping to be had, restaurants, museums, boating trips, and even scuba diving classes. In the tourist trap perspective, just about everything in this city is pricey from souvenirs to food, but one thing is for certain, you can't beat the free scenery! And that's a trap I don't mind returning to!

Historically, Monterey had always been a favorite haven for pacific sailors. I'd put Breakwater Cove/Monterey Bay boat works at the top of the list for havens...followed closely by Morro Bay, which is very cool, but lacks the maintenance opportunities that MBBW has to offer.

I had a mishap to the paint on my car when a thin cover sheet of plastic (used by professional painters) intended to protect my automobile from painters over spray, left what can only be describe as "a shadow hologram " on my paint. I was visiting a friend's home at the time of this mishap. It was raining the day my automobile was covered and when the sun came out the next day, the combination of sun, moisture and plastic covering, left behind these markings where the wet plastic baked in the sun. The painters themselves never had seen such a thing. Nothing I tried would remove this "hologram" including car wax, auto car wash soap, a clay product a neighbor tried and even solvents like WD 40 and 3M adhesive remover, as advertised on Youtube. I found the answer, thanks to Fernando who was instrumental in picking the correct product and explained in detail how to best use it. IT WORKED!! I was able to remove the "hologram" that the plastic left stuck to my clear coat without damaging my paint job. I cannot thank Fernando enough for his expertise. I will use this shop for all my detailing questions and purchasing products future forward.
