My dryer heating element went out, so the kids and I took our laundry over to Quantum Laundry Lounge. It was great to be able to see how many machines were free before we headed over. At the laundromat, the app used to run the washers and dryers made payment convenient, and provided alerts so there's no need to babysit your clothes. Lots of options for washer and dryer settings. The lounge itself is very clean and pleasant, no crowding. The machines look brand new. The staff were super helpful when we ordered espressos while we waited. They went out of their way to make sure we were happy with our order. All in all, a very pleasant experience, and we went home with clean clothes. read more

Chose this business to do my laundry at, while I was in Anchorage, because it had a cool name. Quantum Laundry is so much more than its name. Sure, it's got a coffee/juice bar, with snacks. And sure the computer based laundry/dryer system is the future today. What really made this experience awesome, was the fantastic customer service. The employee working while I was there, was continually assisting customers, keeping the business clean, all while sharing an infectiously pleasant disposition. She came across as an employee, that you assume is a manager or owner. Very friendly and helpful. And then the owner showed up. And he was just as friendly. Chatting with him made the experience even better. My clothes came out clean and soft. The frozen drink I had was super tasty. The people associated with this business made a customer feel appreciated. So yeah, I'll be giving them my business when I'm in Anchorage again. read more

We have gone to this place for awhile now and it has been good but since its popularity the place is too busy. The place is clean, new equipment and has a cafe for drinks and small foods. During winter the parking lot is a hazard as its not maintained. read more

Love this place! Washers and dryers are easy to use and the app notifies me when the loads are almost finished. I do not recommend this place, supremely expensive. I was there for a few hours, there were tech issues with the payment system. The machine had us pay for the other guy's laundry and he paid for ours. We did not have the same needs or payment. They "fixed" it, but not really. I also watched the lady go outside and smoke several cigarettes, didn't wash her hands (when she did, it wasn't done right), and make lattes immediately. She also smoked directly next to the actively used door and the smoke went into the building. Might as well smoke inside lady. read more

Hands down, best laundromat I've ever been to. It's huge so plenty of open seating and available machines, very clean, and you can pay with a credit card. Probably twice as expensive as a regular coin-operated laundry (I don't know, I haven't been to one in a while), but when you are waiting around for an hour the atmosphere is important to me. They also have a cafe inside and everything looked incredible, I had difficulty choosing. Never thought feeling spoiled in a laundromat was even possible. read more

This place is super expensive, they charge $5 per load. They don't accept coins or cash at all. You have to pay via app or "qr code" & when you go to scan the codes they don't even work. It directs you to Google saying unknown server. Once you download the app you have to load the app with money, you can't even use your card or pay with a card. The only good thing is their they have a cafe. Other than that would not recommend!! read more

Nicest laundromat I've ever been to. Came here because my dog had an accident on our comforter and it wouldn't fit in our apartment's washer. Washers are large and preloaded with soap AND sanitizer which is super helpful for dog pee smell. Pleasant surprise! The app was a little confusing at first but I figured it out just fine. The attendant was friendly and asked if I needed any help. I noticed her helping others figure out the app and such. Only note is that it was quite cold inside but a warm beverage from their cafe is sure to help. I will return in the future! read more

Clean and nice atmosphere, however, your clothes will be soaking wet when washer is done. Front loaders have high speed spin which lessens drying time, not these machines. They must have programmed them to not spin as long or as high in speed as private machines, just to keep you feeding money into the business. Same with dryers, the 'cool down' cycle is longer than I've seen in any other place. More time needed, more time on site means you're spending money there. Even with added time, I'm still hanging my clothes at home to air dry. Try another place that takes coins and that doesn't slow down their machines. read more

This is the model of what a laundromat should be! When we travel, laundry happens so I've been to laundromats in so many towns and countries and I hate it. Most of the time they feel less than clean, and some times, less than safe. At the very least, its a boring couple hours after you've figured out how to get enough quarters to feed the machines. Not so with Quantum! We were greeted immediately as we entered the lovely bright clean space. It's all digital and you can use your credit card and the staff helped us learn the process immediately. When I was taking a bit of time doing the dry cycle, a staff member stopped to check if I needed help. And no more vending machine soap purchases or stopping to buy a pack of soap pods - you can choose to have the machine automatically add it. There is a coffee and smoothie bar with snacks, plenty of baskets to move your laundry and space to fold, and the restrooms were super clean. I felt safe and comfortable the entire time. read more

Quantum Laundry Lounge is definitely a one of a kind laundry mat. The store is up to date with new technology advances and staff members are welcoming, accommodating, helpful, polite, and go beyond their roles to make sure each guest leaves satisfied. Once staff members have ensured that their customers loads have started, and no add ins are needed such as laundry detergent, or stain remover, you're invited to relax in their waiting area. The waiting area includes a snack bar, a tv and tables. The fact that this area is quiet, open, and well maintained meant that I had a fantastic place to study at while my load finished its cycles. I was definitely pleased with my visit to Quantum Laundry because high grade machines cleaned and dried my clothes as I completed homework assignments. If I ever come into a situation again where there isn't a washer or dryer available to me, I'll definitely use Quantum again. read more
