As I mentioned before, we come here all the time. I'm updating my review because someone was asking about prices. The "small" washers, which are still pretty darn big are $4, their medium machine, which is very large is $7, thier large machine is $9 (big enough for a quilt and other stuff), their monster super giant is 14.50. That machine is literally big enough to put a human in or like 5 fluffy quilts and a bunch of other stuff. Their dryers take quarters, so you get to decide how much time you want to assign. Different machines have different values depending on their size and heat. Recently they got some new machines and they are super large and super hot so they are 3 min for a quarter, but they dry really fast. Others are like 5 or 7 mins for a quarter. I went here today to dry my clothes. Because I live to this area.And this old lady was so disrespectful and mean to me. I ask to change the token that I have from last time but she refused and start complaining about it. Finally a laundry where staff is so nice and helpful. I took to giant blankets to wash and barely could carry them and the staff member came to me outside to help. Good service for dropping off laundry and picking up. I'll used this any time I need again. read more

If your Alaska adventure lasts longer than a week, chances are you'll have to do laundry. To find this place, look for the coin-op laundry sign just east of the UPS Store. It's a little cramped, and looks a little run down, but it will get the job done. The clerk was helpful in selling tokens, making change, and checking in with us to make sure our machines were operating correctly. read more

My cat peed on my expensive down comforter and my top loading washer couldn't handle how heavy the load was. It caused my washer to flood and an actual pipe to come off the washer. (Mind you this all occurred at 2:30am on a work night.) I've driven by this place a bunch but never thought to use it for anything. I was a little embarrassed to bring a fully soaked dry clean only comforter in but the man working here looked at my wet bedding in a garbage bag, said he could make it work and 6 hours later had it ready for pickup. It looked brand new without any odor. Both workers were incredibly kind! I don't know if $25 is high or low to have cat pee professionally removed from bedding, but it saved the last bit of sanity I had today from going out the window. Worth every penny! I will be using them for my dry cleaning from now on. (If you ever want to gift someone with laundry service they charge $1.50 a lb, the average load of laundry is 6-10lbs.) read more

I went here today to wash a few large blankets. I found it a little inconvenient to have to convert my quarters to tokens for the larger washers, I don't understand the logic in that, but whatever. Its located in a convenient plaza, theres Ichiban sushi restaurant next door and a tanning salon. There's a Starbucks across the street and other places to eat in the same vacinity. Its close to a park, so you could find lots of things to do while waiting for your laundry to finish. This coin-op laundry also offers dry cleaning services, alterations and drop off service. It's really an all in one situation. The only down side is that its sort of cramped, not very much space to fold laundry or sit, but there are a lot of machines and wasn't very busy mid-afternoon on a Sunday. The larger washers are $7.50/load, smaller washers are $5.00/load, they even have a washer that can hold up to 75 pounds of clothes for $11.50/load. I don't know who needs all that, but hey they have it if you need it. The lady who was working the counter was very nice and attentive. I would definitely go back again. read more

This place is a rip off, no published price list. I asked the lady that barely spoke English or pretended not to, do you make up prices. How do you compare business? Three jackets cleaned and a button replaced, $50.00. I know it's a lot, I keep hearing everything in ALASKA is higher & expensive. Some folks here flat out try rip you off. I have walked out of business over prices. I figure I can find it cheaper else where. I will never use this place again . read more

Very friendly, accommodating staff My cloths smelled great and they looked wonderful. The staff took great care in folding and hanging my cloths. They went above and beyond to also wrap my folded cloths in cellophane to protect them. I would gladly recommend their services. read more

Ummm this place is overly priced. $5.00 for a small washer! No, just no. The man who greeted me was nice that's why I gave this place three stars instead of one. This place was not clean and I just could not bring myself to wash 4 loads of laundry in the small washers.... the big washer is really a medium size and he wanted $7.50 for that one. The dryers are like most places $0.25 for 5 minuets. Overall..... Nope. Nope. Nope. If you live in the area.... it's conveniently located but that's about it. read more

Love doing my laundry here! The owners are really nice and it's usually never packed here, but it's best to be here right when they open. Laundry machines are quick and the extra large dryers take 30-45 min to dry my 4 loads of laundry in one dryer! read more

The washers are good but they take tokens. The dryers are horrible! Doesn't dry your things and that's where they make money. Not a lot of hot air drying your clothes which makes it pricy. Rip off... I live on east side but since my dryer at home needs to be repaired I'll never come back here. I'd rather go to Dondees, it's decent and the price is reasonable. read more

Great service! The staffs are very nice and there if you need any kind of help. Its clean and there are many washers and dryers to use. I always go there to do my laundry or if I need to drop off anything for dry cleaning or alteration. All in all I think that this is the best laundromat in anchorage. read more
