Mike from ServPro was incredibly quick to respond to our inquiry, we him and his team at the apt, we went through and let them know what needed deep cleaning and they even disposed of some items left by the tenant. Mario was the team leader and he was extremely responsive and let us know how the progress was going. When we checking in to see the progress, the ozonator they used completely removed the cigarette smoke smell. From ceiling to floors - the team cleaned everything and made the unit look and smell brand new. We HIGHLY recommend working with Mike and Mario's team. They quoted us a fair price and that was the price we paid - no hidden fees. We were 1000% happy with their work.

You and your project manger Jim provide the highest possible customer service and your team of specialists are outstanding in their respective specialties. My story began with a leaky pie just before Christmas. We had a pipe leaking into our downstairs bathroom area where we used the space as a family room and office. I have a friend who is a plumber, he took a quick look at and told us not to use water upstairs and he was coming back on New Year's Day. He came an opened the wall and told me we were going to need a restoration company as the water damage would be severe. He called you and you showed up two hours later New Year's. That was impressive. You instructed me to call my insurance and make a claim. You were confident the damage would be covered under my policy. I did that and on January 3, the adjuster called and was coming in two hours. I sent you a text and you replied immediately and would join the meeting. You knew the adjuster, and I am sure that is not a standard service you provide, it was an immense help. In subsequent conversations, you told me he was a good and fair adjuster. He told me you were an honest and highly professional organization We had a preliminary estimate and approval to proceed in less than one week. During the process, you updated the estimate and got approval as more damage was discovered as we peeled the reconstruction onion. We held a call with you and myself and my wife, where we discussed the type and selection of material we required. You got them approved and coached us a flooring and, tile, paint, and carpeting. The project began with demolition, proceeding to asbestos removal, to reconstruction. Each phase was completed in a timely manner and each service provider was courteous, professional, and highly competent. Any glitch along the path was resolved by your project manager, Jim. A great guy. The project took about 30 days from the start. The result was a beautiful new bathroom, a new asbestos free area and new carpeting. Thank you. If anyone wants to call me for reference, please give them my number. Rich

Absolute Pros. I am in the middle of using Powerhouse for…read morethe second time. Several years ago a branch tore a hole in my roof. I would have been happy with some cleanup and general repair. Powerhouse worked with my insurance company and got asbestos abatement done, helped redesign weak initial construction, and made sure I got every bit of the work I needed. In the past I would have taken whatever the Insurance Company offered and tried to do some of the work myself. They did it all for me, kept the rest of the house completely clean and worked with us to keep us informed along the way. Four years later a giant tree fell on my garage. I called them right away. They have had roofing specialists, engineers and managers out to review the site and are pushing to get everything properly paid for. In the middle of everything else 2020 they are still the total professionals! Call them and sit back and relax!

This company was quick to respond after devastating floods in our community. For that, 2 stars…read more They asked me my insurance coverage #s which quickly taught me they will maximize cleanup and blower rentals. How do I know? Because when I asked why the bill was so high, instead if explaining to me I got "everyone says that when they get the bill". Why did I have 6 blowers? two facing eachother? " you had 5, insurance only allows us to charge up to that amount", Why did we run blowers for 5 days when it wasn't still wet and I had to keep paying for days not needed? "Insurance only pays 5 days"...get the picture? Further instead if politely breaking down the cost and being empathetic about my concerns, I was told immediately that "you have selective hearing". Now, I paid $1800 to have 3/4 of my carpet ripped out and 5 blowers to run for 5 days. My basement is still a disaster. Why wouldn't you take the other 1/4 out? I will never rematch what's left and the circle cutout makes a seam to seam impossible. Further, I expected them to suck out the water in carpet, pitch the padding and a carpet company could do the rest. Once they began cutting it up, I realized my recover costs were going up and up because replacement carpet quotes have been $4k. Lastly, I called them for a week straight with no return call. They said they were busy...4 weeks later still busy? I never got a call until there was an unpaid invoice and NOW they want to talk but only belittled me in the call. I wrote and mailed the check (which I always intended but just wanted an explanation) that same day but with a note that said courtesy matters and so do referrals.

As suggested by my insurance agent, I called Greg to help diagnose and resolve. During his visit to my house, he carefully and very thoroughly examined all possible sources of water intrusion on my roof, exterior lights, exterior walls and basement. He suggested that I attempt a few DIY fixes such caulking spots on roof and exterior lights to address sources of water intrusion. He then suggested how I test the house and interior drywall for mold (all tests came back negative) and then how I could fan dry the drywall and insulation to eliminate the odor if no mold is present. So far everything has worked as he suggested and he saved me the expense of having to rip open walls and replace insulation and drywall. Greg was not only professional, responsive, and clearly an expert on water damage issues, but is also a very nice guy. I would certainly call on Greg again for any future issues.
