We drove to Grants Pass to pick it up and spend a few days on the Rogue River. River City personnel did an excellent job prepping the rig. Every system was tested and confirmed as working. Stove, oven, solar, TVs, sewer connections, windows....everything. It was squeaky clean, even smelled brand new! They worked with us on the price. Handled all the paperwork including the temporary use permit, installed a part on the hitch, hooked us up and got us out the door in just a few short hours. I had to run an 8 gauge wire directly to the battery since it was not happy to share with the furnace since it was a bit of a voltage drop when blower starts up. Bryson and Brandon did an awesome job on installation. Should run separate circuit for refrigerator on future jobs.

I'm new to travel trailers and Chris and his son took a lot of time to walk me through the functions of various systems. They included a lot of the essential extras I'd need for camping. They gave me valuable tips and even after the sale, Chris set up cones in the lot and basically taught me how to back up the trailer. In my particular case, the problem is a water heater that doesn't function properly... The problem was well known to them, but rather than actually fixing the faulty heater, they simply lied to me saying it was serviced and now functioning like it should... Lie!... Also, I requested they email me copies of the photos they used in the listing so I could share my new purchase with friends and family before delivery, which wouldn't happen for another week... They never did, but said they would... They already had my money, so why bother... And what was I going to do about the faulty water heater?... Was I supposed pay another $1000.00 to have the RV shipped back, and then fight for a refund?... It became a no-win situation for me, one I'll just have to live with! I made an honest mistake trusting them, but I'm not going to let liars and thieves destroy my faith in others!...

My boyfriend and I looked at an RV with two employees a couple of weeks ago. Both said they were…read morenot aware of anything being wrong with the RV. They couldn't figure out how to turn on the AC, so I wasn't sure if it was broke. Don Hogan was the primary person we worked with. Don said that if I buy it, I will need to put a down payment on it. At that time, the dealership would go through the RV and fix anything wrong with it. A couple days later I asked for the RV to be looked at because I was going to buy it. Don said I had to buy the RV then they would go through it. I questioned him because that was not what he originally said. He got defensive and hung up on me. I called him back to find out what happened. He said he thought the conversation was over. He never said goodbye just hung up. He said I could have my RV mechanic look at it, so I did. My mechanic found a lot of things wrong with the RV. I emailed Don asking if he would negotiate the price or fix the things wrong with it. It's been 12 days today with no response. I paid my mechanic to look at it because I was serious about buying it. I will never go to Caveman RV again or recommend them to anyone. 2015 Forest River Leprechaun 319D that is still there.

When we left I thought I grabbed the wrong Motorcoach. Jesse was so accommodating. The only time I heard the word "no" it was in front of the word "problem." We had lunch at a very nice restaurant walking distance from Henderson's. When we told our server why we were in Grants Pass she said many people who come intell her the same thing and they come from states all over the place to visit Henderson's. There's no doubt why.

I wish that I had read other reviews about Forest River Medford before we purchased our Coleman…read moreTrailer in March. Originally we were set to buy a 'Apex' trailer but we took one day late to finish the purchase and they sold it to another buyer. We began a second search for a trailer and decided on a small Coleman on closeout. We bought our Coleman (new - 2023 Closeout) to take to Texas for the Solar Eclipse. I don't believe that Forest River ever did an inspection of the trailer. We came back home with over 28 issues that needed repairs before we could use it again. The bathroom fan broke, the bed frame was broken, the mattress was torn, the magnets failed to keep drawers closed, The A/C kept tripping the circuit breaker, etc. THREE MONTHS later it was finally repaired, or so they claimed. The 3 months effectively took 1/4 of our 'Good Sam' year membership away. Also a 'Passport America' was cut by 1/4 as well. We took it for our 2nd trip to the coast for a long weekend and discovered that our refrigerator no longer worked. We returned the trailer, without an appointment, to service, and that was August 27th, 2024. It took Ewan, the service manager, until Wednesday, the 18th of September to call back to say that the 'compressor' needed replacement.... That was THREE weeks and THREE days that they did NOTHING before finally analysis of the problem. And, now, I have to see just how much longer they will have the trailer there awaiting the warranty repairs. Ewan, very polite, ought to be a politician. He's very good at schmoozing and keeping me from blowing my stack at the lack of service they actually provide there. To be fair, other RV enthusiasts have told us that MOST brands of trailers have issues with shoddy work in building them. But that is NOT an excuse for the absolute terrible slow work they do to repair on 'warranty'. A selling point was telling us that ANY 'Camping World' or Forest River could be used on the road to help us with repairs, and dump our 'black water' when boon docking. But we tried that in Denver, and in Bend and got no satisfaction from either of them because they were all 'booked up' and we would have to leave the trailer for them to fix simple things we needed done. Hindsight being 20/20 I wish that I had researched Forest River before making our purchase. We are now seriously considering a report to the 'Better Business Bureau' as my patience is now completely used up. We are so disappointed in this company. If YOU shop there, I pray that YOUR experience will be better.
