In my particular case, the problem is a water heater that doesn't function properly... The problem was well known to them, but rather than actually fixing the faulty heater, they simply lied to me saying it was serviced and now functioning like it should... Lie!... Also, I requested they email me copies of the photos they used in the listing so I could share my new purchase with friends and family before delivery, which wouldn't happen for another week... They never did, but said they would... They already had my money, so why bother... And what was I going to do about the faulty water heater?... Was I supposed pay another $1000.00 to have the RV shipped back, and then fight for a refund?... It became a no-win situation for me, one I'll just have to live with! Once completed, we decided to make an offer on the coach. After speaking with the seller, Chris returned my call and said we had a deal. Then the work began - Living in California, buying a vehicle in Oregon through a finance company in Florida and their bank located in Ohio! The hoops we needed to jump through seemed endless, yet Chris and Cali were very helpful and always kind and professional. I flew to Oregon after we finally secured financing. The nearest airport was 30 minutes away from Clark's (Medford). Cali drive to Medford and gave me a ride back to Grants Pass, OR. Once there I learned how truly remarkable this family company was. Asking me what I needed at every turn. Giving me a vehicle to run errands before driving my new coach home. Offering me lunch, Chris telling me fishing stories, Cali telling me about her husband and their love of scuba diving. Chris took time to go every system in my new coach and answer every question or concern I might have had. Then, Chris brought in another inspector to check out the rv before we closed the deal. The inspector found one issue. Chris located a technician, brought him in, and had the issue repaired at no charge to me. This is our third motorhome. They are a smaller shop who does much better than the bigger ones to diagnose and fix whatever has gone wrong. They are completely honest, which in my book goes a long way. The prices are reasonable and their estimates are amazingly accurate. The owners and workers are very friendly and always willing to explain exactly what needs to be done. I don't understand the bad reviews and makes me feel that maybe they could have been the problem. Diane and Kim are terrific!

Take your money and run as fast as you can away from Grants Pass! A deal that started several weeks ago working with Sarah C. Has been a buyers nightmare. I was in the market to purchase a brand new 2022 Lance 1172. I was approved for the loan and Sarah had provided some very high numbers that I did not feel comfortable paying. I decided to not pursue the deal. Sarah was really hoping that I would accept these high numbers, which I kindly declined and decided not to proceed. Two days later I get a call from Alan the sales manager and he gives me different numbers that were in line from what I had received at Curtis Trailers. I agreed to those numbers with additional accessories and paid a $3k deposit. These accessories included a super hitch, which was suppose to be ordered for my pick up today 13MAY2022. After waking up at 0200 and driving the 4.5hrs and booking a hotel plus gas I arrived at Caveman RV this AM. After meeting Alan and Sarah in person my brother and I waited 1.5hrs only for Alan to disclose that there was a misunderstanding and the super hitch for my truck was never ordered. Essentially Sarah was under the impression I had a super hitch already on my truck and although I had send her pictures of my hitch of my trucks current stock hitch weeks prior. So not only did Caveman RV not order the right equipment that should of been part of the deal supposedly they stated this was miscommunication. This is straight out BS and this is exactly how they treat thier customers. They wait until you drive 4.5hrs, spend money on gas, take personal time off and not even offer resolution. Do yourselves a favor and go somewhere else. Caveman RV is not worth your time or money. See pictured of the hitch on my truck. It's not a super hitch as you can see! I…read morerecently bought a new truck and the lights weren't working on the trailer even though the new truck was a chevy (same brand as previous truck, just a newer model) Their shop guy quickly got me into the shop with my trailer and troubleshooting began, determined several of the lights were shorted or bad wiring or both. So appointment was made the following week and the trailer was dropped off just after 9am and was done by 11am completed as promised. All lights are working and a new plug in adapter was installed. I want every person out there to know how awesome they are at Hardcastles and how well you will be taken care of.

This dealership does not honor their advertised 2 week warranty or fulfill promises…read more Was promised by owner Lon to fix transmission that his son Mike lied about but Mike refuses to fix. Power steering went out while driving with my newborn and they sent it to an unlicensed mechanic and refused to give me any contact info or name.... I ended up having to pay to fix everything their mechanic didn't! All of these occurred well within their two week period and after 4 months the car is COMPLETELY un driveable. Mike has called me out of the blue and harassed, intimidated and made threatening statements about a post on Facebook in a mothers group accusing me of slandering them, it was an anonymous post about another dealership. He has refused to apologize for this and completely stopped contacting me or returning repeated calls to him wondering when they will fix my car! This salesman Mike is very rude to younger people, takes complete advantage and ignores his mistakes. I sent a bank representative down there to talk to him and he ignored them for an entire week, until she had to call again and he still refused to fix it. Mike is beyond rude to service members and veterans, who tried to speak to him on my behalf since he had treated me in such a disgusting way. Swearing at them, slamming doors and threatening to call the police because things didn't go his way. I ended up showing him the videos of all the promises they made to fix it. This made him explode with anger as he thought I had nothing on him. During this he made a statement saying "...we don't inspect all of our cars, just the ones that need it" asking why their multi point inspection for every car they advertise on, somehow didn't show the severe transmission issue, and mistook it for bad brakes, along with severe damage to power steering. He has lied so many times and accused everyone else involved other than him to be the liars, even his own business partners, and other reputable licensed mechanics, to try to get out of this. He is the most unprofessional salesman I have ever met. Honestly would have been fired a long time ago if his Dad didn't own the place!
