Wow, it's been almost a year since I used this service. I hear that they will do runs to the store for you at their leisure at a reasonable cost that is lower than a taxi fare. Last year I had a horrible experience of a driver cussing me out because I only paid the agreed amount from their dispatcher. I wait and need it again. I call for a bottle of gin. I tell them the price and they agree to almost 3X the price, but I was taking into it the Washington sales tax on booze. They agreed to $15 on a $6.49 bottle of gin, but with tax it is about $10.65. The dispatcher has agreed to $15 and the driver picks it up at their leisure and delivers it an hour or so later. When the driver arrives, apparently the dispatcher hasn't relayed the information and I am called all sorts of names because I won't pay the extra few dollars the driver demands. I call the dispatcher and he goes from seeing my point to telling me how awful I am for not explaining the Washington State Tax Code to him because he is a recovering alcoholic. I know a lot of people use this service in this small town and it isn't likely to be the first time they have tried to extort money from unsuspecting customers after agreeing to a price.
I recommend that this service is best for an agreed upon amount for a ride from point A to B, but not for anything that can be reevaluated by them. I wasn't demanding a time or price. I asked if it were possible for the agreed upon price, and they turned it on me wanting a few dollars more that I didn't have.
