This is a follow-up to my last review of QR. In Sept 2024, I hired them to install flashing and gutters on a rental property ($3,202). The work was poorly executed. They breached a section of the roof while installing the drip edge and failed to reseal it, causing the first interior leak the home has ever had. I had to pull the property off the market during peak season, losing rental income and time. When I reported the leak, QR deflected and blamed the original roof, something never mentioned before they started. A proper inspection and honest communication could have prevented this. Instead, I only discovered the issue when guests sent photos of water pouring in. My personal contractor later confirmed through a water test that the unsealed valley was the source. The bigger problem was communication and accountability. My detailed emails were met with vague, delayed replies. Rather than take responsibility, they leaned on the "bad roof" excuse to avoid covering damages their own work caused. The gutters were another failure. They overflowed during storms, damaging the fascia. Only after I provided photos and videos did QR agree to reinstall them at no cost. But by then, I had already spent $3,679 on roof repairs and $2,000+ on interior wall repairs on top of what I'd paid them. In total, this "simple" job cost me over $8,800 out of pocket. To their credit, Garland (a repair tech) was professional, and Daniel, the QR manager, at least admitted they failed to inspect properly. Still, even the "final inspection" was sloppy: I found a gutter not flush with the fascia, loose screws left on the roof, leftover gutter on my yard, and rotten wood ignored. This project should have been straight forward. Instead, it turned into an expensive lesson. If you hire them, be prepared to act as your own project manager, document everything, confirm details in writing, and don't pay until you've inspected the work yourself. Based on poor workmanship, lack of accountability, and dismissive communication, I will never use QR again and recommend others think twice. read more

Carl from Quality Roofing was amazing! We are selling our house and the inspection showed some issues with the roof. The company who installed it 5 years ago wouldn't help us out. Quality Roofing stepped up and said no problem- they would send someone over as soon as they could as they knew we were on a tight schedule. Carl showed up on time and was very professional, explained what he planned to do to fix the issues and got right to work. It didn't take him long at all. Yes, the 3rd party roofing crew you contracted to do the work on my house performed their job just fine BUT thats them, they're not employees of quality roofing. You are the ones that completely tried to knock out the budget while doing the bare minimum work and even being shady about that part. QUALITY ROOFING (Not So)...... W/much regret I write this review for a company that claims to "GO THE EXTRA MILE TO ENSURE THE CUSTOMERS ARE 100% SATISFIED AT ALL TIMES". From start to finish, NOT my experience! Hope this is read & helps some people. The TRUE TEST of a company can be told by looking at negative and positive reviews. Especially one with a 5 star rating. The determination is how they actually work with customers to help resolve issues, and especially FOLLOW-UP with what they claim or promise & return calls! Due to this I give Quality Roofing a 2 star rating! I would like to state that THIS TIME when Quality Roofing replaced my roof (they replaced it 6 years ago), I believe a good job was performed & the ONLY reason I'm giving a 2 star rating, not -1! Chuck, crew supervisor & Jimmy, team leader, were professional from start to finish. Chuck & Jimmy were attentive to all details, answered all questions, explained things, worked around me when needed, & made sure I was happy with the job when completed. If this had been my entire experience, I would have gladly given 5 stars. Unfortunately it wasn't. I do not believe this job was wanted & why it was handled the way it was. A lot more happened than what I can post, due to length. I'm in my parents home caring for my stepfather after my mom died in 2019. My partner died in November last year, 2023. In 2022, several leaks & mold was found in the ceiling. Initially, it was thought to have been from hurricane Sally a couple years prior, even though no damage was visible. However, due to excessive algae on the shingles & what was seen under the shingles when removed, I think poor workmanship from 2017 and probably a bad "lot" of shingles is the cause that allowed the damage. Many people, including the sales rep from Quality Roofing, made comments as to how the roof appeared to be over 10 years old. After the initial meeting, I had to follow up continually, phone calls were not returned & no show appointments. I eventually was given a 10% "courtesy discount" due to "my situation" (which I was thankful for & the ONLY reason I chose to go w/ them). I was also told I'd be given assistance trying to get w/ Atlas the shingle company. Again, hasn't happened & no response to messages. On Friday April 19, I met w/ the COO to share my frustrations, but also explain that I felt Chuck, Jimmy & crew did a good job bringing the roof to code & correcting what was done before. I had been told by the sales rep he & the owner were told about my roof & that's why I was given the "courtesy discount", yet he knew nothing about it. I explained I recently had to do a FINAL settlement w/ the insurance company so I could replace the roof as it was getting worse. However, new mold has developed that needs treatment & I know it's going to be expensive. I asked if anything could be done or I could at least receive the discount on the "extra supplies & work" that had to be done due to the amount of damage & was not listed on the estimate. (I also had pointed out that in 2017 the invoice claimed 23 boards were replaced, yet the photos did not reflect that. 16 boards and more had to be replaced now). I was told that they already gave me a "courtesy discount", don't make much profit on these jobs and really couldn't afford to give me more. But he assured me he would follow up with the rep from Atlas Shingles himself as he knew him personally. He didn't know if anything could be done, but he would try. He promised to call me on Monday (April 22) and get back with me. Today is May 6th! Still no response. Again, much more took place, but I want to share their claims re: 100% satisfaction at ALL times is completely false! Hope this helps someone. Have a great day! read more

CRIMINAL! My 85 yr old mother hired this company ( Quality Roofing , 110 Herman ave, Pensacola)...to replace her "basic" (no cables, no chimney) roof in Pensacola in March 2025. The price? OVER 8K! I was concerned but the reviews were positive so I ignored my gut and minded my business. She was told that some of the plywood boards may need replacing and that 3 at $100.ea would be the expected. Surprise, surprise... old roof OFF and oops... looks like 10! That's a 1000. bump! Keep reading.... Family gifted to get this project done. She was told that after the weekend someone would get her the actual figure. (keep in mind she was expecting a discount). The roof had to be finished - no choice - as it was now off! On Tuesday, she received a call that she now owed an ADDITIONAL $2200! (Yes, TWO THOUSAND +++) and that she had to pay 250. a month or a lien would be placed on her home! 85 years old, BASIC social security ONLY ... she does not have 250 extra a month! "We" don't have ANOTHER 2000+++! What kind of people are these? Are you new? A professional, experienced, Company does a "professional" estimate on a basic, straight roof TRAILER... that is "25" YEARS OLD... has swamp water and trees around it and you didn't know the ENTIRE plywood was bad? Really? She is a stroke survivor and I am so very afraid for her. All she has is her trailer, older car and a social security check - now she is afraid she will lose her home, credit ect. We are all researching and learning a lot. They "BUMPED" her 30%%%%%! Attorneys are not free. I know we can file a complaint with the State Licensing Board and are on it. Professional and VERY responsive--price was very fair. Hurricane Sally did damage to my home. It was (and still is) back and forth with my insurance company. The folks at Quality helped immensely by providing quotes using the insurance software. I originally wanted a metal roof but sadly with all the feet dragging by my insurance - I had to suck it up and come out of pocket for shingles to get the job done before more water damage occurred. While certainly not an economical choice, the workmanship was good. I had problems with my roof deck and they contracted to replace the deck as required. They ended up replacing the entire deck and it might have been necessary but nobody mentioned it to me until the job was over. The crew left the back porch full of debris and it was five days before they came back to clean up. I had just received a gorilla multi purpose ladder for my birthday from my daughter. It was there when the job started but neither it or my 10' step ladder were there when they left. I can't say they stole it but it was stolen during their time at my house. They were on the job within 24 hours of my call to them. They immediately placed a protective tarp over the leaking area of my roof to prevent further water entry. Once the rains had ceased, they fixed my leaking roof in 2 days. Most impressive was how efficient and skilled the team was. To date I have had 3 roofs installed by these guys. All three have been metal roofs. They also installed my neighbors shingle roof based off of my recommendation. On the metal roofs, two were the normal screw down types, and on my personal home I went with standing seam. Those in the know, know that standing seem is the most labor intensive and requires the most skill to do properly. I researched and found these guys on Angie's list. I called them based on their reviews on Angie's list. I had them come out and give me an estimate for a shingle roof initially. There price was good and the guy I had spoken with was knowledgeable. I got estimates and spoke with 4 other roofers I found on Angie's list. They were the best priced and I got a good feeling from their sales rep. I later met with the owner as I was deciding to go with a metal roof. Got estimates and started researching metal roofs. I probably changed my mind several times through my research. I felt confident the owner was very knowledgeable and a strait shooter. I ended up going standing seam. I researched it heavily through YouTube, so I would know how everything was supposed to be done. The whole standing seam install take a few weeks. I ended up talking a lot with the employees as well as watching how they did the install. Everything was done exactly as I had research it should be. Brian and his guys came out and did a wonderful job on the roof. I couldn't be happier honestly. I am a knit picky person about how things should be done too. They did the standing seam install in 2017. I have had two screw down roofs installed by Quality Roofing since my standing seam roofs. The most recent being in February 2019. They both came out perfect as well. All the screws are in straight lines. They look perfect. Couldn't be happier with these installs either. They also did a very nice job on my neighbor's shingle roof. The only thing that could be considered negative about them, is the fact that they are busy. Honestly, that can't be a strike because they do good work, so they should be busy. I have been very impressed with everyone I have dealt with at Quality Roofing. My grandmothers roof is currently being worked on so that we could get the house sold, because she just open heart surgery & is moving in with my mom. A friend of mine & I were tasked with getting my grandmas bed from her old house & moving it to my moms. When we pulled in we had some trouble parking the trailer. The kind roofers noticed & offered to back up the trailer for us & we most definitely obliged. We then told them we were to move the bed & they said "don't worry we'll help!" They then proceeded to move the box spring, mattress & bed frame for us & show us how to properly strap everything safe & sound to the trailer. in dec i contracted with this company.was told 2nd week january i would have done.never heard from company . i called end of january to be told they never know when suppluys will be delivered. then i was asked if supplys was here.i said no doi have to call you when delivered.the following monday supplys 2/1 was delivered.so i was patient knowing weather a factor never heard from company.finally called 3/14 to find out when install was only to be asked its not done yet.then i was told everything is done by computer for all contacts with me. guess their propgram dont work to well.i put 9000..00 deposit and never heard from company unless i made contact with them.so basically i was told i fell thru the cracks. finally 3/19 my roof was installed. when the men drove off i called office to speak to bryan who had just left, i left message with girl in office to have him call me first thing moday 3/22. it is now 230 in afternoon of 3/22 still havent heard from bryan. very poor communication with this company. you have to do all follow up because they don't stay on top of thing. just sell u new roof take your money and forget you. ethan had the nerve to tell me things not his fault i asked him whos fault is it mine.ethan told e how he did me a favor coming out giving me estimate. thats his job and he made money off me signing contract. no one takes responsibily or will take time to communicate with customer. i will never deal with this company again when the can't take 5 minutes to call me. i tried to be patient factor hurricane covid shortage but i was told my supplys for roof was in their warehouse. so guess they lied just to shut me up.im really upset bescause i sat and read every review and thought this company was better than the way they treated me. no one in this company knows how to use a phone to update customer.i give a one star crew that came out worked very hard read more
