BLUF: Miserable business practices and mediocre work Titan initially blew me away with their level of customer service. I had a rep come to my home, take numerous measurements and tell me all about how the structure would be built. I stated that I needed the sunroom completed by the end of April 2024 and they put in a clause that if it wasn't completed, the sunroom would cost my nothing. Titan even changed the contracts after I found a discrepancy with mine and I was more than happy to move forward. I signed the contract and waited. Then a second rep came out to retake all the measurements previously taken and I waited some more. And then crickets until I was told that the materials were being ordered (two and a half months after I paid the half up front deposit). Work finally started the last week of April ( just 7 days shy of the deadline) and I was initially happy with how it was going. I asked a bunch of questions, had to correct the builders on layout because it turns out the first Rep lied about how the structure would be built on several levels. During construction, the electrician's helper stepped through my kitchen ceiling which i don't blame Titan for but it seems they put their trust in lack luster contractors as well. Work was "completed" on the last day of April and the permit inspector called to let me know that he would be inspecting three days later. During the inspection, it was discovered that the electricians never pulled a permit to begin with and the sunroom builders never stopped construction to get the in process inspection completed which required a portion of the structure to be dismantled. A separate crew from the first dismantled and rebuilt the structure and did a miserable job sealing it which required the lead of the original crew to come back out and correct. Since this was WELL past the deadline, I made the joke with the crew lead that " hey , I guess I got a free sunroom now". Within three minutes, the GM called me asking what I meant. This conversation culminated in him raising his voice to me several times and threatening to file a lien immediately that Monday morning if I didn't release payment. My argument that work wasn't completed because the permit wasn't sign off and required that the structure be dismantled to complete said permit didn't matter. I never once raised my voice in return, or acted unprofessional in any manner to the GM. After the tile work began, I found out how out of square the walls are. 1/4" out over 16". Had I had any idea of what I'd experience, I would have chosen a different company in a heartbeat. read more

I'm glad I only have Titan Sunroom installed a deck roof because after 6 months the roof started leaking. So I could imagine if it was a sunroom like the other complaints. When I checked it, the metal roof tape that was put in was all crooked and some areas the tape came off because of the debris. I guess they didn't clean it before putting the tape. I had to spend some money to put a different tape and try to seal it myself. It stills leaks, but not as bad as before. I guess I'll have to do there work and go up on the roof again and figure out how the water gets in. It appears I'm getting moisture too and when it accumulates then it starts to drip. read more

Titan did respond after our initial Yelp review. Titan did come out to fix the leak in sunroom after almost two years. Installers showed up with caulk guns and told us they would come back every year if needed. read more

Dealing with this company is not worth the work they do. They are happy to call you until you put a deposit down and then good luck hearing from them again until they show up to do the work (well after the timeline they give). I've used Ouija boards that communicate better than this company. It was so bad, they failed to let us know an extremely important piece of information about our financing (you know, the part that gets them paid) and left us trying to fix their mistake. When I asked why this important info was not shared with us in a timely manner, all I got was "we live in a crazy world." No acknowledgement that it was their fault. Instead, they went to threats of legal action or putting a lien on the house because of a situation they created and [shockingly] the bank didn't seem to care either. An AI program could fix 99% of their problems overnight because it looks like all their other reviews say the same thing. The only reason they deserve 1 star is because the tech that actually came to do the work was great and knows how to communicate with people. The work was fine, but again, not at all worth the amount of headache it took to finally get there several months late. read more

I can not say enough positive words to describe my experience with Titan-Sunrooms! From Fred, the owner, to Ryan, the general manager, to David, the installer, they were the picture of professional team work focused on quality workmanship & customer satisfaction every step of the way! Their attention to details, cleanup, safety & convenience for people & pets, & simply making their customers feel valued was so obvious in everything they did. I expect good work from those that present themselves as professionals & I got exactly that with Titan. I speak from experience of the worst kind! Earlier, still new to the area, I picked a heavily advertised company with good reviews, that by their very name, gave the impression they were "hometown" type neighbors you could trust. Boy was that a major mistake! After many, many failed attempts to stop the leaking of my new patio roof they had installed, the well known, trustworthy, "hometown" company gave up and walked away. The company refused to refund my money or even to remove the structure that has been described by local electrical companies, Fire Department, & EOC of Santa Rosa Co. as "DANGEROUS" due to the patio ceiling holding water, & on several occasions, leaking water through the then-working ceiling fans and lights. (They eventually quit working but still leak water occasionally!) I have no choice but to seek help through a court of law to force a company to stand behind their word and their workmanship! Due to my on-going, very expensive mistake my daughter chose Titan Sunrooms for her new patio and I followed her example on another project. We both are very satisfied Titan Sunrooms customers. I'm writing two separate review for this company. Please read this full review. This first review is based on the workmanship. We had a sun screen room built and Hunter and his team did an amazing job. They were on time, communicative, friendly and and above all produced a high quality product. I can't say enough about their great work, the sun room turned out beautiful. They receive 5 stars in my book. The reason I've given them 3 stars is because of the following...... there were other issues but I'll focus on a few......I was so very frustrated with the sales person's communication AFTER he received my deposit. I felt like I was chasing after him to get questions answered and to pin down a start date. He said they couldn't forecast in advance.....WHAT?? How do you run an efficient business that way? He then gave us a name of someone else to call for status. This seemed like a deflection tactic. Side note; Hey Titan, customers just want to deal with one person!! Regarding the build, I understand the supply chain issues and associated delays but I was asking for an estimated start date due to no parts were needed. This was about scheduling the team to start the build. It wasn't until I had what I'll describe as a "elevated / spirited" conversation with him did we get a start date. He asked that I keep checking with him for status and I said no, I'm the customer, you need to keep me apprised of the build plan. He seemed to forget who the customer is. Lastly, Titan contracts out the electrical work but the company they used on our build started the wiring for outlets etc...they showed up, got their tools out (no work yet) then went to lunch. They returned, worked for approximately 4 hours and told us they would return in a week......WHAT?.........not the next day??....so we had dangling wires / mess for another week. I get it, titan doesn't control this company's scheduling but I hold titan accountable since they chose their sub tier companies. It is a direct reflection on them. After the wiring was complete, we waited another week for availability of Hunter and crew to come enclose all the wiring. Overall, the room turned out nice (thanks to Hunter and crew) but due to the months of waiting and extreme frustration dealing with the entire process, if I had it to do over again, I would contact more sun room companies for quotes. Also I would suggest if you plan to use them, reach out to the owner for reassurance the above mentioned won't happen to you. read more

They did a beautiful job adding a carport to my existing garage. John, Chris and Kevin were very detailed oriented. Adding a carport to an existing home can some times look awkward. Not this one, they kept with the same roof lines and it looks beautiful. All of the staff, including the President, and Ryan made sure the job went smoothly.
