The reason we ultimately chose DAC is because of the MANY roof tops we viewed in our neighborhood---DAC Roofing did the best ..visually speaking... so they were our choice! The company refused to refund my money or even to remove the structure that has been described by local electrical companies, Fire Department, & EOC of Santa Rosa Co. as "DANGEROUS" due to the patio ceiling holding water, & on several occasions, leaking water through the then-working ceiling fans and lights. (They eventually quit working but still leak water occasionally!) I have no choice but to seek help through a court of law to force a company to stand behind their word and their workmanship! The communication from the time of the order to final installation was seamless. The lead foreman asked for our input and kept us informed throughout the installation process. He also provided his professional advice when asked. The demo and install process took less than two days! I will definitely be using them again and would highly recommend them. When I contacted customer service, the gentleman was quite curt and produced a picture of the flaw that was taken at installation but never pointed out to my husband or myself. This gentleman proceeded to engage in a text battle about how I wouldn't want those people to buy my house. I asked that a supervisor contact me directly. To this date, we have not been contacted by a supervisor. Remember that we were assured that we would be able to inspect the granite before installation and were never contacted for an inspection. Very poor communication and follow-through…read more When I first called, the person who answered acted like my call was spam. Not a great first impression. I was then promised a time for a quote, but no one showed up. I had to reach out multiple times just to get a response. Eventually, someone did come to my house. He was polite and gave me a price for part of the job. I asked for a few additional, simple items (like a small paver pad for trash cans) and was told I'd receive a full quote by email. That email never came. Again, I had to follow up multiple times with no results. After being ignored, I gave up and contacted other companies who were responsive and professional. If a job--especially one around a pool--is too difficult or not something you want to take on, it would be far better to just say so instead of stringing customers along. I wasn't begging for a job; I was simply looking for basic communication and reliability. Would not recommend.
