The positive things about this company are that they are quick, clean, and cheap. They installed a new unit in my house very quickly. It took only a couple of hours. The cheapest unit was picked but even with installation and things they were the cheapest quote in town. Before they left they asked to use my broom and dust pan to clean up the mess they had made in the entryway where the unit closet was. However, I wondered why they don't use their own broom since I'm sure they make many messes installing ACs, and why they decided to dump the debris in my nearby kitchen trash can instead of removing it from the house. I would say this company was not built on good customer service. First of all their receptionist/secretary has a 'whatever' attitude the minute after they have won the job. Each time we spoke, which was brief, she reminded me that I was imposing on her day with her tone. Once she left me a voicemail quite frankly and rudely stating, "so you may want to answer your phone!" Very judgmental since she doesn't realize I am currently on a third shift schedule and am only helping with this house. Maybe I should try calling her at 2am to discuss business and insist she would be wise to answer. On the day of installation, a company van with a trailer attached pulled right onto my lawn. And another van followed but parked next door completely blocking my neighbors driveway,(see picture). They should have come to the door and asked me to move my car and/or ask where they can park. The neighbor talked to the man about the van blocking her and he kinda brushed her off since she wasn't leaving at that very moment. I had to go apologize to my neighbor. As he had been with her, the tech was very short and snippy, no 'good morning,' or 'hi my name is...and this is my associate...' And finally, every time he went in and out of the half glass screen door they allowed it to slam rather hard. Yes, it was a windy day and the stopper on the door wasn't working. An inconvenience no doubt! But there wasn't ever an attempt to minimize the door slamming and the possibility of the glass breaking. I finally went into my car and grabbed some rope and rigged a Mrs. Macgyver sling wrapped around the posts outside to prop the door wide open. I would go ahead and offer your next heating and air need to a different company. I'm sure the next cheapest isn't too far off from this one. read more
