They never…read moretook apart the unit and told us that the parts they thought would fix it would be 1700 dollars. They couldn't even guarantee that it would fix the issue. Our unit itself is 2500 dollars new (or thereabouts) and is only about 2 years old if we had gone with them we basically could have bought a new unit. The only nice thing I can say is that the people are very friendly and they will try to come out the same day you call if they can. Honestly I was really appreciative of them because of that fact until we tried a competitor for a second opinion. My S/O told our new tech what the Gordon techs had told us and what we had paid and the new tech LAUGHED because it made no sense and we had basically been had for fools.

It was going to see about Monday to find out if he had the part which he told me was really rare and they barely ever go out, but very satisfied with Doug and his professionalism on letting us know what was wrong. He also did a quick fix to where he manually lit the burner and now we have our house from 61 we decided to put it on 80. We may fry in here but it's better than 59! OK guys I just had to add this. Doug went back to his store happened to find a part that will help for the time being and made our heater work in our eyes. Doug went above and beyond and we super appreciate that.
