Austin was great! Our system was leaking and he found the issue right away with our HVAC and is getting parts ordered.

In June of 2025 we started a new journey to purchase a new AC for our home. The previous unit was a…read moreGoodman purchased in 2011 and it performed very well. The compressor stopped working and I contacted Gordon for a quote for a new system. All the service technicians were in a meeting and Rachael said they would return my call shortly. I called back and had the pleasure of speaking to Rachael again and said we want a new AC today. Please send someone now. In 30 minutes or less we had a knock at our door from Gordon Air Conditioning. This was one of the most professional companies that I have worked with in over 13 years of living in Crestview. They helped take the screens off of our new windows and install a temporary window AC unit so we could sleep in our bedroom that night. We secured the financing and even got a energy rebate on the unit we purchased along with a military discount. They appreciate and recognize all the military families in our great town. We included a three-year service maintenance program and I am so glad we did. One July19th 2026 when we came home the AC had stopped working. The house was cool and the electronic thermostat was dark, so I knew it was time to call Gordons. I left a message on the answering machine asking for the first available on Monday July 20th. I got the call from Rachael on Sunday evening asking if we were ok and she confirmed that Gordons would arrive between 11am to 2 pm to fix our AC. It was wonderful to get that call at 8:30 on a Sunday night. I appreciate getting a text message with a picture of the technician who is coming to our home along with a phone number and confirming the arrival time. Gordon CARES about the safety of their customers by taking the extra steps and using technology to add extra security. It was a simple clog in the drainpipe that occurred and that is why the new AC stopped working. If it had not shut down the water pan would have overflow and leaked water into the house. The technician got a shop vacuum and fixed the issue right away and the system was up in running in 20 minutes. I am so glad we made the decision to purchase the three-year service agreement because it protects us the customer and in turn we build a long-term business relationship. We have finally found the BEST AC company and its Gordons ! Tony and Sharon Calderon

I rarely leave negative reviews, especially after spending approximately $25,000 with a company. We…read morehired Gordon Air for two commercial HVAC installations and ductwork at our commercial building, as well as an HVAC installation at one of our townhouses. To be fair, our first commercial installation went relatively well. We had a few concerns, but they were resolved through communication, which is why we hired them again. Unfortunately, the second commercial installation changed our opinion. After the work was completed, my mother was pulling weeds around our commercial building while another employee used a weed trimmer near the garage. The trimmer struck what appeared to be an exposed, energized electrical wire left outside after the installation, causing a huge spark and loud bang. Thankfully, my mother was not alone. Had she been the one to come into contact with that wire, she could have been seriously injured or killed. What disappointed me most was how the situation was handled. When we reported it, I expected immediate concern and an investigation. Instead, Steve suggested the breaker had been off and implied someone at our building must have turned it back on. However, no one from Gordon Air ever informed us that a wire had been left exposed, that a breaker needed to remain off, or that anyone should avoid the area. There was no warning, barrier, or communication of any kind. Around the same time, Gordon Air installed an HVAC system at one of our townhouses. We later found the condensate drain had been installed directly in front of the air filter, making routine filter changes difficult, and no thermostat had been left on the wall. We also had to ask them to return to our commercial building because portions of the ductwork were finished poorly, with excess adhesive or sealant left around sections of the duct system. When I contacted the office, I felt like we had become "that customer" simply because we expected the work to be completed safely and correctly. During one call, I was told they couldn't hear me, the call was disconnected, and I was routed to an automated system instead of receiving assistance. I then contacted Thomas Gordon directly. Although he initially sounded willing to help, we later received an email stating that Gordon Air no longer wished to do business with us beyond its current contractual obligations. The email did not meaningfully address the exposed wire, our safety concerns, or the remaining installation issues. I'll also be honest about my own conduct. After realizing my mother could have been seriously injured or killed, I was loud and extremely frustrated. However, I never cursed at anyone, called anyone names, threatened anyone, or became abusive. I simply wanted the seriousness of the situation acknowledged. Mistakes happen. What matters is how a company responds. In our experience, Gordon Air chose to shift responsibility, minimize our concerns, and end the business relationship rather than fully address a potentially life-threatening safety issue. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Gordon Air.
