I scheduled an appointment for the bi-annual maintenance plan for $145. The tech arrived and asked if i was having any issues, i said no. While he was here i asked him to swap out new filters for my house purity filter which is connected to a/c unit. He did but when uv light connection was corroded and the wire needed cleaning, he explained that was a job for my husband. When i was paying he said they had me down for a service call, not a bi- annual maintenance call. He then attempted to leave when i asked why he did not vacuum out drain line. Needless to say, i contacted office and they stated they would speak to tech and then get back with me. Monday afternoon comes around and no call, so i contacted again and they said that the tech was not supposed to do the wire cleaning because it is considered a service call...... I told her it makes no sense because that is what they had me down for. I was then put on hold to speak to office manager, explained the entire situation over again and she stated she would talk to the lady i was just talking to and then call me back, i then told her i just want refund of the difference for service call and maintenance plan which i paid for. She called 5 minutes later and said she would send me a $70 refund for the difference and i stated the lack of concern and customer satisfaction was mind blowing. EXTRAORDINARY SERVICE! With Summer upon us, I just had my DR Horton HVAC system inspected/serviced by LUNSFORD AC & Heating - and the serviceman that came out to do it (Alex Celestial) completely blew my mind! He took the outdoor unit apart and completely washed it inside and out VERY thoroughly. Opened the electrical panel, inspected outdoor components. Measured capacitor and contactor all within specs. Cleared drain line. Treated drain line with viper, then flushed several gallons of water down. Inspected indoor equipment. Sprayed indoor coil with self-rinsing cleaner. Fired the system up in test mode cool. Verified amp draws throughout. Indoor blower 2.4 amps outdoor fan 1 amp compressor 7.5 amps. Verified temperature split across indoor equipment at 21 degrees. Supply temp 59 return temp 71. Verified refrigerant levels and noted that our system is performing well at this time with no issues. After spending well over an hour covering each these steps, he then CRAWLED INTO MY 105 DEGREE ATTIC and checked the insulation levels AND entire ductwork for leaks and loose connections! Lunsford AC has been there for me for 15 years and always provided the best, honest and prompt service. They have worked so hard to make my unit last as long as possible so I didn't have to buy a new unit. Well, the day came when my 27 year old unit died last month. May is very inconvenient to have your AC die in Florida! My wife and daughters stay home so it was urgent something be done as quickly as possible. They were out the same day (totally shocked me!) with a window unit and a large room AC unit to hold us over till our new unit could be put in. Even after 15 years of knowing them and the great service they have provided my family I was still amazed at the compassion and care they had for my family and making sure they were comfortable and safe. They gave me an absolutely amazing price for a new unit and were able to install it rather quickly considering how busy they were during this busy time of year. I had a new a/c gas heat installed at my house on 5/6/19. From the start Curtis who came to my house to check my old unit was very helpful and showed me what was wrong with my unit to include the gas heat. We set a date to install but ended up having to special order the unit. They provided me with a A/C unit to keep me cool in the meantime. Kudos to them! The technicians-Cory, Devon and Jeramiah were very professional, knowledgeable and proficient. They answered all my questions and explained my new unit. Lunsford installed a new heating and air-conditioning system in my home One year ago. I am so very pleased with my daikon system. I have set the air conditioning temperature cooler this year than I have since I've owned a home. My bill has gone down 15%.
