Hired David to remove and replace LVP and sub-floor in mobile home. Showed up late when he showed…read moreup. Begged for cash down upfront. Craftmanship was terrible. Very shoddy work. Did not support subfloor properly which now has soft spots when walked on which cause the LVP to split. Removed bi-fold doors in his work process, never put back up. Begged for cash of balance on Friday, which I paid. Promised to come back on Monday for repair and finish the job.......never showed up again. After several missed appointment he just quit answering phone or text. Don't make the mistake I did, gave him my Lowe's acct. number......you can guess what that lead to! Avoid him like the plague.

I met David and his wife at Verizon, as I used to work there. I asked for a quote on how much a…read morefoyer at our back door would cost, and they said there was a soft quote of $300 but they would visit my house to get a solid quote. David was 1.5h late to the agreed meeting time at my house, and then quoted me the same thing, $300. We agreed and he sent me to buy tile, mortar, and grout and claimed that he had everything else he needed for the job. The next day he shows up on a motorcycle and a backpack with a few tools to do the foyer, but was 3h late (big red flag). He starts working then starts saying how it's bigger than he anticipated and wanted to be paid more. I denied, and said I will pay on what we agreed on. As the day went on, he kept talking about his hardships and I was trying to be understanding and hospitable. He also asked if I had tools and supplies for him to work with. but I'm not the one contracted to do the work. It was very unprofessional. He also said that his wife had "medicine" for him and he left to go take it, so take that as you will. When he came back he insisted that I needed extra work done and that he would charge me an additional $100 to do it. I agreed, but also asked him to do more work. He asked if I could take him to Lowe's in my truck so we could get more supplies, and I obliged. We get back and he starts mixing the mortar and grout in my bucket with my backyard and continues his work. He said he would return the next day or the day after as it takes 24-48h for the adhesive to cure. He was confident that he would show the next day, but he didn't and I gave him the benefit of the doubt that he would return the day after he said he would (closer to 48h). He ends up not showing up, and I confronted him via text message. He did a terrible job spacing my tile, he did a bad job on my tile to wood transition. He LEFT MY WATERHOSE ON for over 24h, the hose was like how much you'd turn it on to drink from the water hose so it doesn't blast you in the face. (He told us not to use the back door until the tile set.) When I confronted him about my frustrations via text he was very hostile. When I eventually took the tape off of the transition three days after he "finished" his work, and after taking pictures of his terrible work, the transition wasn't even adhered to the floor and tile. He left me with a huge mess and probably a huge water bill. STAY AWAY FROM BECK FLOORING LLC.

Stopped in today for a remnant. Needed a remnant fast. Was helped by Mary and found a quality…read morecarpet. Purchased it. Went home. My installer was extremely bothered by the price I was charged. He called the store on my behalf. Mary was rude, and questioned my installers expertise and knowledge. My installer broke down the pricing for her and said it didn't add up. Mary hung up the phone. So, if you like handing over your hard earned money and getting ripped off. This is your place. Extremely upset that I was taken advantage of due to my lack of knowledge of carpet prices. I should have just went to my installers preferred store in Fort Walton Beach.

Super unprofessional. Just glad to know this BEFORE I started my flooring project. I scheduled an…read moreestimate and a floor measurement for my new home. I had to schedule this with the realtor as I am out of the country. I get a call this evening, less than 24 hours before the appointment, and was told the original guy couldn't do it. That's fine with me. But then the guy who's taking over gets on the phone and condescendingly tells me that if I didn't have my materials picked out, there's no point in them coming by. He obviously didn't want my business anyway. I am stationed overseas and will be relocating in roughly 45 days. I don't know what materials they offer and that was something I was going to inquire about with the original person since I picked out 3-4 styles. But really, he's the expert and therefore, would guide which would look best and last the longest. This second guy I talked to was just a jerk. I told him I would just keep looking for quotes and go with the other companies I contacted. And he just hung up. Seriously, I would rethink using this company!
