Quality Roofing stepped up and said no problem- they would send someone over as soon as they could as they knew we were on a tight schedule. Carl showed up on time and was very professional, explained what he planned to do to fix the issues and got right to work. It didn't take him long at all. We told him we were surprised the original company wanted nothing to do with the problems I would definitely recommend Quality Roofing for all your needs Ask for Carl - he is great!

This is a follow-up to my last review of QR…read more In Sept 2024, I hired them to install flashing and gutters on a rental property ($3,202). The work was poorly executed. They breached a section of the roof while installing the drip edge and failed to reseal it, causing the first interior leak the home has ever had. I had to pull the property off the market during peak season, losing rental income and time. When I reported the leak, QR deflected and blamed the original roof, something never mentioned before they started. A proper inspection and honest communication could have prevented this. Instead, I only discovered the issue when guests sent photos of water pouring in. My personal contractor later confirmed through a water test that the unsealed valley was the source. The bigger problem was communication and accountability. My detailed emails were met with vague, delayed replies. Rather than take responsibility, they leaned on the "bad roof" excuse to avoid covering damages their own work caused. The gutters were another failure. They overflowed during storms, damaging the fascia. Only after I provided photos and videos did QR agree to reinstall them at no cost. But by then, I had already spent $3,679 on roof repairs and $2,000+ on interior wall repairs on top of what I'd paid them. In total, this "simple" job cost me over $8,800 out of pocket. To their credit, Garland (a repair tech) was professional, and Daniel, the QR manager, at least admitted they failed to inspect properly. Still, even the "final inspection" was sloppy: I found a gutter not flush with the fascia, loose screws left on the roof, leftover gutter on my yard, and rotten wood ignored. This project should have been straight forward. Instead, it turned into an expensive lesson. If you hire them, be prepared to act as your own project manager, document everything, confirm details in writing, and don't pay until you've inspected the work yourself. Based on poor workmanship, lack of accountability, and dismissive communication, I will never use QR again and recommend others think twice.

If I could rate zero stars I would. I did not originally…read morecontract Timmons & Carroll Roofing, but I purchased a home where they installed a new roof in 2020. Just four months after moving in, I started noticing leaks around the nails going through the roof deck--an issue that should not be happening on a 4.5-year-old roof. Fortunately, the previous homeowner informed me that the roof came with a 10-year, one-time, non-prorated transferable warranty on both materials and labor, which is also publicly advertised on their website. Thinking this would be a straightforward warranty claim, I called Timmons & Carroll Roofing and spoke with Amber on a Wednesday. She assured me that a crew would come out Friday at 7 AM to inspect and address the issue. So, I took off work to be available--only for no one to show up and no call to reschedule. At 8:30 AM, after hearing nothing, I called again. Amber said she was trying to get ahold of the crew, but no updates were provided. I then requested a call from the owner, which is when I was contacted by John, the new owner of the company. His attitude was completely unprofessional and dismissive. He told me outright that he's not responsible for honoring warranties issued before he took over the business--which is absolutely false. When you buy a business, you inherit both its assets and its obligations, including warranties. When I pointed out that their own website still advertises this warranty, he dismissed it and reluctantly said he'd send someone later that day. Shockingly, no one ever showed up, and my calls have since been ignored. At this point, it's not just about the roof--it's about principle and integrity. If this is how they handle warranty claims, I strongly caution anyone considering hiring them. Expect broken promises, poor workmanship, and zero accountability. If you've had a similar experience, I highly recommend filing complaints with the county, attorney general's office, and the Federal Trade Commission for false advertising and failure to honor written agreements. Avoid this company at all costs.

This was after me calling him twice to get a time and him giving me a 3:00 pm time only too not show. When I first scheduled with him he said he couldn't give me a specific time. I wasted a full day. He made the comment this was a last minute appointment and that it rained all day. Absolutely was not a last minute appointment. Appointment was made at least a week earlier. Also, I do not remember any rain that Friday. He stated he was glad we did not meet! Well I second that motion...His lack of professionalism lost him a job. After reading his response I am glad he was a no show. Also, his comment about my reviews is false. If he would have really taken the time to look at my other reviews on several sites, he would have seen many good reviews with only a few deserving lower reviews. He said he should have called to let me know he wasn't coming. Totally agree...7 months later he still has never called to apologize or reschedule. I do wish him well thought. I understand he does good work. Hopefully my issue in a one time deal and he has great success with his business. His comments make me believe he has me mixed up with another customer.

The story of Sunpro likens me to think of a used car salesman in the 70's. First sales technique is…read moresmoke and mirrors. They regale you with a fantastic 25 year warranty (it's not), how the panels are certified in 145 mile an hour winds (Hurricane Sally was 105 mph, I guess no one told the panels). The sales crew are geared up with lies, when these panels rightfully could sell themselves. Now once you have made the purchase, and it's typically hefty, all it takes is a storm like Hurricane Sally to recognize you have made a mistake. In a hurricane undoubtedly you are going to have roof damage. I had minimal, the leaks I had were where there was panel (frame) placement. One panel blew off at 105 mph winds, two were damaged. Sunpro did come out and access the damage (yes that's epic) the workman were very nice, professional and honest. This is when I discovered that a Warrenty is baseless, and costs were about to mount up. Then came the coordinator, this is a term I heard frequently, that my coordinator was going to coordinate with my roofers, as long as I used there roofer. There roofer appraised the damage at twice the amount done. No doubt coordinators are costly. So, to uninstall then reinstall (hopefully) my 26 panels came out to a hefty $5600. But, coordinators like to use the word insurance. My guess is they don't know how pathetic insurance companies are. Well I had my roof redone, and contacted the coordinator. She was set on having 23 not 26 panels reinstalled. I asked why they couldn't install 26 panels. It was answered with "Have I spoken to my insurance " I don't know what they have to do with my panels, just give me give me a bill. Apparently coordinators don't know prices either, and rescheduling is out of there realm. They will not give prices, everything becomes a shrouded mystery and this is where I don't appreciate anything they say and do. Solar Panels are a great thing, Sunpro does them a disservice with there smoke and mirrors, I'm at the point of wishing I never heard of them. A pathetic bunch, who are apparently not trained in ethics, integrity, and honesty. Being up front is not in there ethos.
