I would be hard pressed to use Harley and Coastline Gutters again, and I won't recommend them to anyone. I volunteered to pay a 50% deposit on a job quoted at $2800. He drove 30 or 35 miles to pick up my deposit check, instead of letting me just mail it to him, which was weird. Then, once he had it, he took offense at my asking when he was going to start the job, which was also weird. He and his helper eventually showed up a few weeks later, after two or three "this never happened before" delays, and they did what I thought was a pretty respectable job. However, I texted him after the first rain we had to report leaks in a couple of the joints and corners of the guttering and standing water an inch deep in three sections. He responded and he said he'd get right on it. Three weeks later, after not hearing anything from him, I texted him again, and he said he'd get right on it. Two weeks later, after not hearing from him, I texted again and asked if we could pick a date for him to come get the corrective work done. I got no response. A week later, I called and left a voicemail for him. Never have heard back from him again. I still have leaks and standing water. Harley seems like a nice guy, even if his text responses are a little goofy, but he has been unprofessional and has not been honest in his dealings with me.
