As promised on my previous one star review I am changing from a one star to a 2.5 review. When we learned that the gutter guards had not been put on as stated in my last review, we were able to get in touch with Eric after several attempts. Within two weeks he had someone come over and put the gutter guards on. We verified they were installed and covered the entire gutter using a drone. If I could pass on recommendations to the owner, I would focus on responsiveness, thoroughness, ability to listen to the customers needs, and complete inspection of final job before collecting The final payment. I believe Eric cares very much about his business but I believe he is overwhelmed and doesn't always listen to the customers needs. Our gutters work as they should and has helped solve some of our flooding issues. I can't say that I would use them again, but if you're willing to track every thing that is done and require inspections and photos of the final product, you will probably get your money's worth. read more

Architectural Gutter Systems would earn a zero score if that was an option. I contracted with them in the Spring 2019 to install gutters on the rear of two residential buildings. The buildings have many owners that are part time residents. When owners were on site and the rains came, they sent pics & videos of the water pouring down the side of the buildings and directly onto the ground at the foundation. When I called Eric, he said "not his problem" that he did what he was suppose to do. However, there are gaps where the roofs join and no deflectors were installed, allowing water to gush down the walls. The whole purpose for installing gutters was to divert the water away form the foundation, building and yard. Eric was adamant that "I did my job" and he refused to even return to the property. The only recourse is through legal, which we are pursuing. read more

Contacted Architectural Gutters to remove gutters on a two story house and replace with new gutters after a new roof was put on. The company kept sayings they were coming out for over a week to remove gutters. Finally on a Sunday one person came and removed the gutters on the first story (couldn't do second story by himself). Said they would do it they next day (Monday). Didn't show up. Roofers started on Friday and worked around gutters on second story. Asked Eric to deduct the work for the second story. He would only deduct $150, a small fraction of the cost. It wasn't out fault he couldn't do the work, he had ample time. If he had been out in a timely manner, this could have been avoided. When his workers were finished, they had to come back to do a few things they missed. Will not hire or recommend this company. read more

I came home from work today and found that the Architectural Gutter Systems employees working on the house next door had jumped my fence, gone onto my front porch and plugged in their extension cord. When I confronted them about it they told me that they thought that they had blown a breaker on the house they were working on and since no one was home at my house they would just plugged their cord in. Their office WILL be getting a visit from us tomorrow! read more

I would not use Architectural Gutter Systems again. The first week of July, I received an estimate for gutters on a detached garage. The work was supposed to be done the last week of July (this was written on the estimate) but it wasn't done until Aug 9. Someone was supposed to call 1 -2 days before the work was done because I have dogs; I was called about 2 hours before work began and I had to leave work to go home and pay the installer. This company offers a lifetime warranty on workmanship but it takes a lot of time and effort on the customers' part to finally get an issue fixed. About three weeks after the install I noticed the gutter on one side wasn't draining; I got a ladder and noticed all the water was collecting in the end of the gutter opposite of the down spout. I called the company on Aug 27 and told them about the problem. Each time I called I was told someone would be out to re-slope the gutter. After the initial call, I called every two weeks and finally, on Oct 7, someone finally came out to fix the issue. While the employees are friendly, the service after the sell is terrible. read more

As a previous review stated Eric, the owner is hard to get a hold of. Once the crappy job is done by the fly by nights he hires getting them to come back is impossible. It's been a year since installation. Tried contacting them several times. Looking now at repairing poor workmanship from another company. Deficiencies Such as insufficient number of hangers used. Holes in corner sections where gobs of sealant used instead of replacing gutter pieces. Do not recommend!! read more

I am not satisfied with the gutter work Architectural Gutters has done for me. I have called close to 20 times to try to fix the issue that I have with one run. This gutter run was not installed at the proper angle and instead of draining down the down spout, it all gathered in the middle, spilling over like a waterfall. Supposedly, one of your employees came here a few weeks ago to fix it; however, I was never called when they were on their way, I was not home when they were here, and the issue is not fixed. This run of gutter may even be at the correct angle now, but the issue lasted so long, that the center has bowed out and it is still a waterfall. This waterfall is pelting my first story window with water EVERY time it rains. The caulk is cracked and I'm sure water is getting into the structural supports of my house. This is not acceptable! One of the worst contractors I have ever dealt with in over 30 years of maintaining and building homes. Quotes are extremely high; promises excellent workmanship and product but once paid you will never be able to get problems fixed. Have tried for months to get some simple problems fixed so that his gutters will keep rain from pouring onto the porches but he either won't answer or sends someone that doesn't fix the problem. One of his workers showed up either high on drugs or with mental problems and had to be asked to leave the property after he became openly hostile. I am just hoping to save others from going through what I have by posting this review. Do not sign an agreement with Architectural Gutters; there are good gutter contractors around this area that will stand by their work. read more

Can't recommend. Work is certainly NOT top notch, or even adequate. After leaving several messages for them to come and fix what they didn't do right the first time, it took months for them to re-appear. The first set of gutters blew off due to the inadequate size of screws they were attached with. They should know our winds here in Florida. Then they have the nerve to demand payment the same day, when they don't have enough respect for their customers to show up when they say they will, or return calls. Just had my new system installed yesterday. Not only were the office staff amazing at answering all of my questions (my husband is deployed so I was kind of on my own for this.) The gentleman who gave me my estimate was professional, very well spoken and explained everything in detail that was going to be done. The prices were very compressive. I signed on with this company and in less than a week my system was installed, the job sight was clean and the gutters looked AMAZING. While installing the gutters, the crew were professional and again answered any questions that came about. Thank you for your amazing service! I just realized that nearly all my reviews are five stars. But, that's just because the businesses that are memorable are the ones that are great! We got several quotes for gutter services, and chose Architectural Gutters for for good price and quality products. They did a great job, with our slightly unusual home, and have been timely with adjustments. I was afraid the gutters would detract from the aesthetics of the home, but they color-coordinated with our stucco, and made the gutters as unobtrusive as possible. Best of all, they work. On a side note, we were trying to install some of those festive string lights across our courtyard when they were there to make a slight adjustment to the gutters. We were stumped about how to attach the lights to the stucco (and none too pleased about drilling holes). For a slight charge, they resolved our problem by helping us install the lights to the gutter brackets. Problem solved, and now our courtyard is Mardi gras-worthy! read more

Completely unsatisfied with this company. Had 50 ft of gutter installed to an existing system and one repair to a leaky corner. Added gutter had to be done twice, first attempt looked like a horseshoe ( huge bow). First rain the repair leaked worse then before repair. Have called numerous times to get them to come back out to repair leak. Finally got Anthony to answer the phone. He scheduled a team to come out the next Saturday for repair. NO SHOW and no call to say they were not coming. Have called several times, sent emails and message on their website to get leak fixed. Again no response. During their install they also did not show up one day they scheduled themselves to work. Of course they never called to say they were not coming. I have tried several times to get a refund for the repair part of the bill. Again can't get them to respond. Company absolutely not interested in customer service. read more
