The roof that A&M Construction of NW Fla. Inc. built leaked within a short time. Alex Daugherty…read morereturned more than once to unsuccessfully stop the water intrusion. The subsequent active leak damaged the inner wall. Alex Daugherty refused to honor his work warranty, stating catagorically there was nothing wrong with their workmanship due to the roof being new. Inspections throughout the ensuing insurance claim revealed the workmanship to be sub-par. Another contractor repaired the flawed roofing. Due to Alex Daugherty's unfortunate decisions, I am no longer able to recommend his services.

I can't say enough good things about A&M Roofing and crew !!! I would give more Stars if i was able…read more!!! I Highly recommend A&M Roofing! Family owned and operated and that makes the difference. I had a construction company and worked on many jobs around the U.S having to deal with many different contractors and their crews and that said, I was very impressed with Alex's & Max's crew with A&M roofing. I'm extremely satisfied with their crew who were all nice, respectful and friendly and they all worked great together & were constantly working, no smoking or looking at the cell phones. They even had a crew on the ground that constantly kept up with trash and any stray nails and they completely covered my pool that was close to my home and were careful around my landscaping and flowers. I needed a roof quickly due to a quick sale of the home and the buyer wanting to close in 14 days. I spoke with Alex over the phone and he was able to answerer every question i had, and i always have a bunch and after confirming the great price with Alex and picking the color on Thursday he had the shingles delivered Friday and we were able to arrange his schedule and get me done immediately which in it's self was impressive. They were even willing to come on the weekend to get it done and i told him Tuesday would be fine I wanted to be on site during the job. He was on top of getting the permits done and completed for the sale of the home. Very impressed. The price was great and didn't nickel and dime me. The roof had a sun roof and A&M took it completely out cleaned it up and resealed it completely. i mention this because i have seen "other company's just reroof around them. I told my neighbor and he liked the job A&M did as well and got them to do his roof. He's retired military and likes things done very precisely too. I have a house in Navarre and i'm going to have them do that roof as well. With A&M being family owned you are dealing with the owners and not a bunch of different people, less over head. But with no secretary's or salesmen when you do call A&M roofing you may need to leave a message and Alex will return your call. Differently worth the wait. I was with the crew from start to finish watching the job and rest assure -search no more- A&M is the roofing company you want for your home.

I have what appears to be a roof leak at the area of my fireplace. Due to almost constant rain in last couple weeks the company is backed up & I'm nervous about waiting 2 weeks to get the problem remedied. I spoke w/ ? April (not certain) who was very informative, took the time to look up when my roof was last done (this is county info) & even tried to locate the name of the company who did last work on it. Because I'm in a time crunch I may not be able to use this company but will update this review if Here's the update- downgraded company from a 5 star to a 3. Why? I had a gentleman come out, give an assessment that was semi-similar to the two I already had then had to put up with relentless up- selling to preventative stuff on my 5 year old roof. The estimate was by far the most expensive but I will give them this- professional communication, very professional typed up estimate w/ pics. If you have an endless supply of money and up- selling like crazy doesn't bother you then go with them. I took a pass.

I called Mr. E., the company representative, at 9:00 on Monday; we met before lunch on Monday. Mr. E. took many photographs of the roof, both of the problem area and of other areas that would turn into problems if I didn't do anything about them, and gave me a detailed explanation. His crew came the next Saturday and fixed the problem. I showed up later in the day and just missed them. Apart from the obviously repaired section of the roof there was no trace that they had been there; they had cleaned up everything completely. I texted Mr. E. and because he was still in the area he came by to receive his payment. He had more photographs and detailed explanations of what the repair crew had done. I am thoroughly pleased.

BLUF: Miserable business practices and mediocre work…read more Titan initially blew me away with their level of customer service. I had a rep come to my home, take numerous measurements and tell me all about how the structure would be built. I stated that I needed the sunroom completed by the end of April 2024 and they put in a clause that if it wasn't completed, the sunroom would cost my nothing. Titan even changed the contracts after I found a discrepancy with mine and I was more than happy to move forward. I signed the contract and waited. Then a second rep came out to retake all the measurements previously taken and I waited some more. And then crickets until I was told that the materials were being ordered (two and a half months after I paid the half up front deposit). Work finally started the last week of April ( just 7 days shy of the deadline) and I was initially happy with how it was going. I asked a bunch of questions, had to correct the builders on layout because it turns out the first Rep lied about how the structure would be built on several levels. During construction, the electrician's helper stepped through my kitchen ceiling which i don't blame Titan for but it seems they put their trust in lack luster contractors as well. Work was "completed" on the last day of April and the permit inspector called to let me know that he would be inspecting three days later. During the inspection, it was discovered that the electricians never pulled a permit to begin with and the sunroom builders never stopped construction to get the in process inspection completed which required a portion of the structure to be dismantled. A separate crew from the first dismantled and rebuilt the structure and did a miserable job sealing it which required the lead of the original crew to come back out and correct. Since this was WELL past the deadline, I made the joke with the crew lead that " hey , I guess I got a free sunroom now". Within three minutes, the GM called me asking what I meant. This conversation culminated in him raising his voice to me several times and threatening to file a lien immediately that Monday morning if I didn't release payment. My argument that work wasn't completed because the permit wasn't sign off and required that the structure be dismantled to complete said permit didn't matter. I never once raised my voice in return, or acted unprofessional in any manner to the GM. After the tile work began, I found out how out of square the walls are. 1/4" out over 16". Had I had any idea of what I'd experience, I would have chosen a different company in a heartbeat.
