Of the three fence builders we called for vinyl Gentry Farmhouse was the most professional and knowledgeable Additionally, they use a technique no other company offered. The quote came in the middle of the other two quotes, but the deciding factor for us was the technique and materials they use. They drive 8 ft metal poles inside the posts to give the posts added strength. The poles are driven 4 ft directly into the ground, giving it stability. The gate latches and hinges they use are high quality and made to last. They were able to finish our more than 400 linear feet fence in less than 3 days, and it looks great! I would highly recommend Gentry!

Spoke to the sales rep on the phone that evening after he came out to look that same day and was telling me I could not get a permit for the fence, which every single house has the same fence already built. I told him I had got at least 10 quotes from different companies on Google in the Pensacola area, and this was the first company to tell me I wouldn't be able to get a permit for the same job all the neighbors had already done. The next morning, I woke up to a text from Mitch Carpenter saying that he spoke to the owner of A-1 Hurricane Fence Industries. Which said the following: "Mitch Carpenter Hurricane Fence Ind. I spoke with the owner of our company regarding the ten estimates you have thus far. There aren't that many Certified Fence Company's in this town. We have been in business since 1959, fully insured, warrant the labor for one year and the materials for ten. Foreman Employees with our company over twenty years. That being said we will not do an estimate for your work." (Spelling and grammar errors his, not mine) I replied asking you won't do an estimate for me because I contacted multiple companies? They never responded. Glad I got online and did some research into this company because the reviews for them are absolutely horrific. Been around since 1959 but not many people speak very highly on the reviews. Do yourself a favor and go with another fence company. This company clearly thinks highly of themselves and that they're better than their competitors, which the reviews show otherwise.
