I didn't want valves ground I wanted bigger valves installed. my total bill was 1010.70 only 100.00 in parts were used. I was charged 824.00 in labor. Ashley is a crook and doesn't do work that you ask for. my block sat from the first of September 2022 until may of 2023 until it was even touched. I went for 5 months without any contact with this place. main caps had to be installed by another shop. first engine they rebuilt for me leaks a quart of oil every 50 miles and engine has to be pulled from truck to fix it. I called to tell him I'm picking up my engine since they are not working on it so he scrambles to find more piddly work he can do to charge me more. drilling 6 holes for main caps and line boring main caps, honing block incorrectly by not using a torque plate, grinding valves and cleaning block cost 1010.70 unbelievable when 824.00 was labor. I got one valve seal back out of 16. the cost doesn't bother me as much as the sorry work that was or was not done. this place is a joke. if everyone else gets the same treatment as I have with 2 different engines a couple years apart I don't see how they are in business. Jeff's machine shop and especially Ashley will never get another penny from me ever.

I just had three vehicles inspected at Lakepoint Auto. I have to say they are friendly, efficient,…read moreand honest. The third vehicle inspected had tinted front door windows that don't meet North Carolina standards. They gave me the option of taking the vehicle back and removing the tint and then bringing back, or failing the inspection, which would have costed me $30. The owner, Rob is as honest as the day is long. I'm a widow on a fixed income and have been ripped off by AAA and the KIA dealership in Mooresville. I took that list to Rob and not only was there a Valve Cover Gasket Replacement listed for $685 which Rob had replaced a couple of months prior but Rob fixed everything on that list for $865. With less than two weeks notice of moving, I called Barring Moving and Storage. Even with a full schedule, they were willing to work with me to pack my stuff (I was already gone when they picked everything up) and store it until I was ready for delivery. Fast forward, 7 months, I rented a POD to transport my "stuff." They not only loaded the POD, worked with the drop off and pick up times, but when the POD driver left (without the POD) because there was no lock, Kieth put a lock on the container immediately after I called (within minutes). I had the driver turn around to pick up the container, who almost left without it AGAIN because the lock wasn't on right. Kieth, again, went out there to deal with the (very rude) driver and ensure the lock was on the container and the container on the truck. Additionally, they were more than reasonable with pricing... I would recommend them hands down for any small or large move.

I never thought I'd be writing out a long, drawn-out review for a storage center, but here it is:…read moremy experience with Keep it Stored is better than most experiences you'd expect from a hotel concierge or a 5-Star Restaurant. No, seriously. You look at either the reviews here on Yelp for the two locations, or the 100+ reviews they have for the two locations on Google, and the skeptic in me thinks, "nah.. there's something wrong here, they paid an SEO team to write these..." or something. Yeah... no. It really is as good as reviews say it is. And it all starts with one man: Kurt. If you read the reviews, you'll see Kurt's name a lot. He makes it a personalized experience. Did I really just use the word "experience" in a storage rental Yelp review? Well, yeah. Kurt just takes the storage experience to a whole different level. Kurt and his team get to know you and your business (or if you're renting just to have some extra space, he gets to know you personally) and persistently makes sure what his business is offering is what's best for you. Some highlights for me? Well for one, the prices they offer are better than anyone around. Hell, they're better than storage prices you'd find 80 miles outside of Charlotte. The move to keep it stored for me was more convenient than my prior parking spot (I park a trailer there). The parking spot itself was bigger and in a much more convenient format (it's a spot parallel to the curb, but it's so big, I can pull the trailer right in, and pull straight out upon arrival/departure). You even have access to an app that can open the gate for you when you're within a block of the storage center. 24/7 access is available for a very small fee (it was 5 times the fee I was paying at my prior facility for 24/7 access) and everything is imaculate. I really wish Kurt would also go into the restaurant industry, or maybe insurance, retail, package delivery maybe? At most, I'll settle for him and his team just staying where they are as the best storage solution I could have ever asked for. Believe the reviews, you're going to be very happy here.
