There were cum on the sheets, floors were slimy, no towels. Not great wouldn't recommend read more

Quality Inn - Sheets - Hotels Near Me - Wayne, New Jersey

Very nice. Staff is very polite and customer friendly. You need a question answered they are kind to help.

Quality Inn Wayne is a motel you stay at under very exact circumstances. First, it's not a hotel, it's a motel, as all rooms have direct access outside. Getting here is also part of the adventure, as it's located at the interchange of Interstate 80, Route 46, and Route 23. The circumstances where you would stay here include if you are traveling alone on a budget, are only staying here for one night, and you can't get a better deal elsewhere. Parking is not an issue and there are plenty of spots. Due to an event leaving out later than expected, I arrived here after midnight, but had no problems checking in. My room was on the backside of the complex and was easy to find. Initial impressions of the room was it was lean but acceptable with a comfortable bed and nice pillows. Room looked somewhat recently renovated and included a mini-fridge. Sink that was located outside of the bathroom also looked newer, but the shower was by far the least modern feature of the room, and didn't have the best pressure or flow of hot water. TV had very few channels for being Direct TV. When looking at the room the next day, there were some wear and tear issues with the sheets on the bed I had not noticed the day before, and the large overhead light in the room did not work. Neither of those two were deal breakers. The complimentary breakfast was mostly carbohydrates such as bagels, waffles, and cereal, along with some juices. There were no eggs or meats so I did not partake. While I did not use it, the pool looked nice and well maintained. Quality Inn Wayne is very much a sleep and leave motel, but if you can afford a better option, do so. If the complimentary breakfast was better, I would have bumped the rating up on this motel. read more

The question is what could improve? Answer, bulldoze it to the ground then burn it! Rooms are filthy, showers do not work properly, doors are not secure, parking is not secure, front desk was rude, clean towels had foul odor, mattress was not clean. Really, nothing was satisfactory. Could not stay due to the unsanitary conditions. When I tried to get a refund it was refused. I'll take it ip with my cc company. If I could give less than one star, I would. Do not waste your money here! read more

Staff stole my Rolex watch, my jewelry , purse with keys to my safety deposit box, storage facility and all my cash. Manager denied everything , nasty and screaming at me. Staff is nasty to guests and nasty to each other. They are all Indian and most are difficult to understand. Rooms are dirty , dark with no windows that open. There is no breakfast, pool is dirty and closed , no phone in room. NO ELEVATORS, WIFI intermittent at best. Bathtub and sink do not hold water. Sink drips. TV doesn't work. Strange people walking everywhere. Very noisy. Storm blew down all upper railings. Never replaced. DANGEROUS PLACE. Laundry doesn't work. DEPT OF HEALTH NEEDS TO SHUT THEM DOWN I reported this place to NJ BBB and state Department of Health. WORST POSSIBLE MOTEL ON EARTH. SAFER TO STAY ON THE STREET. read more

Absolutely disgusting hotel, even worse staff, they are incredibly rude and unhelpful, trying to get ahold of a manager is like trying to get ahold of the president and if you want any sort of customer service go somewhere else. This place is a complete dump inside and out. Oh, and don't bother trying to call the hotel because they'll just hang up on you when they have had enough of the conversation. Impossible to get a refund even if you DIDN'T EVEN STAY OVERNIGHT so don't bother booking through a third party because that just makes it even more impossible. Stay away from this place. read more

We stayed there July 18 2025 let's just say it was a nightmare. We arrived about 9:30 pm got our room. Around 12:30 pm I shifted on the bed and the headboard came off the wall onto my head. Went to the front desk told the General manager what happened we was not given a different room was told maintenance would fix it in the morning. We had to lay at the foot of the bed and put our feet against the headboard to keep it from falling any futher. Also after looking up this hotel it had been closed before for fire code and health code violations. read more

As a professional individual who travels. The worst stay I have ever experienced in a hotel no hot water, no TV , but ample amount of bugs if you're into that. Plenty of police activity in the parking lot to make you feel safe. Heed my warning, if this is your only option, just sleep in your car. read more

The room had been booked for two people and a service animal for a period of two weeks. Upon arrival, following a stressful housing situation, we discovered that the bed frame was queen-sized, but the actual bed was a full-size, springy mattress that bounced excessively with even the slightest movement. The television displayed a pixelated image, and the Wi-Fi signal was weak. Furthermore, the toilet failed to flush properly, the sink drained slowly, and the shower only reached lukewarm temperatures. After lodging a complaint, we were relocated to a different room. Initially, we were pleased to find a comfortable king-size bed, but our satisfaction was short-lived, as I discovered a deceased cockroach on the floor, followed by two more, in addition to other unusual, fly-like insects. Despite storing our food in vacuum-sealed containers, I am now apprehensive about consuming it, having never encountered such an infestation in a hotel before. Notably, I had provided the necessary documentation for my service dog, including a doctor's note and rabies vaccination records. However, when requesting the keys to the new room, the front desk staff member expressed confusion regarding the lack of a pet fee. Upon presenting the relevant documents, the issue was resolved, as the staff member verified the information in the computer system. And don't expect breakfast that is falsely advertised while being alongside a highway without anywhere to go, and no working ice machine, although receiving an ice bucket anyway. I could go on, but I am not going to waste anymore of my time. Highly disappointed and highly don't recommend. read more

This is a follow up from my previous review of this place. If I were you I would NEVER stay here!!!!!! The room I was given had a distinct terrible odor and the TV and room telephone didn't work. I called the front desk from my cellphone and was told the manager would arrive in 30 minutes. After an hour and no manager, i called again - twice and there was no answer. I went down to the front desk and the guy behind the counter was on his cellphone. He told me he wasn't the manager but he would have the manager come up in 15 minutes. The same guy appeared at my room door and now admitted he was the manager. After not being able to fix the TV he said there was nothing he could do and left. I packed up my stuff and went down to checkout. When i got there, two different guests were complaining; one because his TV also didn't work and the other because his no smoking room stunk of cigarette smoke. Then another guest came down and was crying that one of his workers entered her room and stole her purse containing $1,100 in cash along with her ID and credit cards. Again the "manager" wasn't any help to anyone. He even refused to give me a confirmation that i checked out (within 2 hours of checking in!)! I ultimately called the Wayne NJ police to tell them what was going on.They dispatched two officers; one handled my issue and the other for the now hysterical woman who said she was robbed by one of their employees. After the officer took my report and gave me the report number, i left the premises. I fought Expedia 3 days to get my money back! read more

I won't lie. Seeing these reviews are shocking but then again they are mostly from a year ago. Me and my Wife are traveling security and concierge workers who stay here frequently. I must say the rooms I stay in 200, 220, 112, 252 have all been pretty nice rooms with new paint new floors and new furniture. I did experience one time I had to get a queen room which was in the back and it was not as good as the king rooms I book. My only problem would be the gnat problem but it's a lot of trees and grass throughout the landscape around the pool and such. But that's just nature .. it's not much you can do except try to be fast when opening up your door if your are in a room in the inner court yard. Overall not bad at all for the price compared to a lot of other properties that have a higher rate. read more

This is the worst hotel in New Jersey, room was messy, furniture was broken, the phone was broken, lamp was broken. I requested a new room and was told that they had none available which was clearly a lie. When I asked to be refunded the remaining nights after a neighbor was smoking weed and setting off smoke alarms I was told we could have a new room. We denied a new room and just wanted to leave. The manager refused to give a refund and forced me to file a charge back with our credit card company. Absolutely horrible service and dishonest people - manager claimed the phone was working after everything. This hotel should be condemned and shut down. read more

This place just all around SUCKS! While room was clean; they had to initially have me change rooms because door lock wouldn't work and it took two people to make that decision, TV had very limited channels (I came earlier then needed just to watch a football game, couldn't and had to watch on phone); continental breakfast at 6 was a joke, wasn't even set up till after 6:30. Staff has a lackadaisical attitude towards guests, I observed and also dealt with. I asked for milk for coffee and basically got ignored. The entire place has an abandoned feel to it and it needs an overall clean up and remodel!! read more

The worst!!! Traveling home late, looking for a place to stay with our dog for the night. Called one hotel which was full, but they called around and found availability here. Should have taken it as a sign when the man said, not sure if you if you want to go here but they have a room. Not having much experience with hotels/motels we took it. Sign number 2 that we shouldn't have ignored, a man at the front desk saying he didn't want the room and walking out, along with a very young couple hanging out in the lobby arguing. Being tired, we stayed, walked past multiple rooms with open doors and obvious large families living here. Music was loud and people were hanging out everywhere (late night in April). Got to the cluttered room filled with what looked to be furniture that was collected from every motel that went out of business in the 80s. The curtains were ripped and barely covered the windows, the door lock was attached backwards and didn't stay on and the place was grubby. The pillowcase was either stained or dirty. The room smelled of stale cigarettes and when looking to turn on the tv to drown out the noise, no remote could be found. Tried to go to sleep, but the shouting, banging, music and frequent beeping of car slams in the parking lot made it hard to relax and our dog would not settle into her bed. Soon the smell of marajuana came seeping in under the door. At that point we knew no one was getting any sleep and wanted to get out of there without bedbugs and our car intact. Turns out a couple was smoking right next to our door as we left. Turned in our key cards to the man at reception, who could care less about our reasons for leaving. Left a review with the motel chain who did nothing to get a refund for us. Whatever you do, don't stay here! You'd be better off sleeping in your car in a rest stop!! read more

This is the dirtiest hotel I've ever seen. Filthy floors, moldy bathroom, paint falling off the walls, dirty stained sheets, and BED BUGS!! We told the front desk and they acted like they didn't care. Not to mention the very sketchy people staying there, smoking marijuana right outside our door so the stench came right through the air conditioner. The photos online are ABSOLUTELY NOT what the rooms look like in person. There was graffiti on the door in my parents room and the microwave had a huge burned out hole in the back of it that can not be safe. This place needs a health inspection and needs to be taken over by new management or shut down completely. read more

We checked into the hotel and the room 161 was dated, but looked ok. After laying down for a while I felt something crawling on me and slapped it leaving a blood satin on my shirt. I washed my hands and saw a cockroach on the sink. I killed it and went back into the room. I checked on my kids sleeping in the next bed and noticed something crawling on a pillow. A closer look and I confirmed it was a bed bug. I got the kids up and noticed there were several on their pillows (pics attached). We immediately got everything out of the room and went to the front desk. I informed them of the infestation and I said I was checking out and wanted to speak to a Manager. The front desk clerk said one was not in and I could email them. I emailed them immediately at the desk and included photos. The clerk said they would contact me after 10 am the next Morning. 2 days later I still had not received a call or email so I emailed again. Another day goes by and I still had not received a call so I called to ask for the manager. They were not in but the desk took my info and said they would call me. Two days have passed since them and I still have not received a call. I have numerous bed bug bites on my shoulders and had to pay for a different hotel for that night and still the hotel refuses to even contact me. I have since reached out to the corporate office and am waiting for their call. This hotel has bed bugs and management refuses to even contact me back to address my concerns. Do not stay at this hotel. read more

Absolutely disgusting. I booked this hotel because I saw it was cheap and seemed alright. Biggest mistake right there. The lobby smells like mold and animal poop, there is bugs everywhere. I went to my room and the sheets had stains on them and the toilet wouldn't flush so I called the lobby and next thing I know someone is pounding at the door like they are going to break in. I opened it and it was a house keeper who started screaming at me, cursing in spanish, and rolling her eyes at me then walked away. When they sent the guy to fix the toilet he said oh yea it doesn't always work you need to giggle it. He left a pile on sheets on the table and then a third person had to come put them on and they were just as stained as the other ones. I tried to get a refund immediately as I didn't feel safe staying in a hotel with bugs, and unclean sheets and the offered me another room which had a giant blood stain on the curtains. I went back down and very nicely said that I cannot stay here and need a refund immediately. They said they can only give me $97 dollars out of $200 and I said whatever i just want to get out of here. I went to check my bank account they charged me a total of over $300. they deducted more money instead of refunding it. I am contacting my lawyers and the local health department. Absolutely disgusting. read more

If I could give negative stars, I would. I did not make the reservation online, I called direct to ask specific questions about the amenities available. We booked 3 rooms for two nights. They advertise a pool, exercise room, grill, and several other items such as hand sanitizer in each room, etc. the pool is NOT open and when questioned, they said the city hasn't granted the permit to add water yet. THIS IS A LIE. The pool appears to be in the process of being refurbished- exposed rebar and concrete on the stairs and walls. They guaranteed me the pool would be open over the phone 10 days before our stay. The grill is not in working order- broken, rusted, no propane so please don't think you'll be "cooking out" while the kids are taking a dunk in the pool! We reported the TV did not work in one of the rooms- my husband was dismissed and was told- no one here to fix it. (We had been checked in for less than an hour). One of the beds only had a sheet and when we asked for a blanket, we were told they didn't have any- I bought one at Walmart. The floors and walls are filthy and all rooms smell like stale cigarettes and marijuana. The refrigerator takes a full 24 hours to cool a 12 pack can of soda. Not all rooms have microwave either. The exercise center was not accessible and no hand sanitizer- only bar soap and shampoo. The linens had cigarette burns in them. When I wiped water off the floor in the sink area, the cloth was brown and grey- filthy!!!! The staff here are Non-accommodating, liars, and scam artist. read more

DONT DO IT. Spend the extra money elsewhere. They said they are finished with the remodeling of this building, but inside says differently. Everything is old and outdated. Most importantly, there were gnats in the bathroom. It is evident that some people live here ( this was there home). NEVER AGAIN. Im mad at myself. This is the Worst hotel in New Jersey. Trust me, I did not want to give any stars, but I guess I have to in order to continue with this review. read more

This place is a disaster. It is extremely unsafe to even walk outside with lots of sketchy people in the parking lot all hours of night with music blasting along talking in front of your door all hours of night being loud. From a few guests, I have heard the board of social services house their homeless people there with people being so comfortable there that they have chairs outside to hang out. Housekeeping is extremely lazy and I do not know how on earth they even have a job there. I have seen numerous housekeeping sitting in a room playing on phone. They don't want to bother cleaning a room where you have to beg them for supplies for your room and apparently that is a problem. I have complained to the front desk for them to make excuses for their staff where they are short on staff where their own housekeeping doesn't know how to knock on the doors. Once I got mad at housekeeping and complained, they never even cleaned the room. The sheets and blankets smell bad after two weeks so I know they don't even change sheets or blankets there. The breakfast is gross. I have seen nats in bread and bagels which turn me off getting even a bagel in the morning or toast or even a waffle. Their juice is water down where it tastes like water. The breakfast lady who is apost to keep everything fresh is the housekeeper of this place with a major attitude. Beware their maintenance guy will take advantage of you and bring empty promises. So do not work with him because you will get taken advantage of after work you complete for him and not even pay for the work you have done for him. He will lie to you to help him do his job so he has less to do. Front desk is hardly at front desk and has major attitude herself. Doesn't respect people or their time. Worst customer service. Apparently my brother and myself yelled at her after she made us late for 3 hours for work with no sorry because she wanted us to switch room. Never again. I am sure my review with be brush off. You been warned people. Spend few extra dollars somewhere. This place isn't worth it or stay in car then this place or live in cardboard box. read more

DO NOT GO!!WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!! If I could give this place a 0 I would. Ive never written a review, I usually just never go back but this place was so terrible I had to. I wouldn't let my dog stay here. Not only was the sink pipe leaking all over the floor in my room every time you used it but the fridge didn't work, the sheets were torn and stained, all of the wood on the bed was chipped. To make matter worse, I paid for a room with a king and a whirl pool, when I arrived there they only gave me a king room. Not only did they refuse to give me the room I paid for, they also refused to pay me the difference. They gave me the run around and didn't want to tell me who the manger was. Once I spoke with "the manager" he refused to hear where I was coming from, is COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL and kept cutting me off. I spoke with booking.com and they even said they have people call with so many complaints and poor reviews. So now I'm out out almost $200.DO NOT GO!!WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!!! read more
