This place is ok. A bit of lipstick on a pig. At a glance the rooms look modern and clean... but…read morenot really: take a closer look and many power & usb outlets don't work, bathroom looks new but the closer you look the more you'll spot rust, filthy vents etc. Breakfast is meh. Today they have a buffet serving bacon, eggs and stale/hard potatoes. It's ok but not exactly kid friendly & too pricey for what you get. If it was free it would make sense but not worth the asking price. The front desk it's pretty bad. I've never seen more than one person working it so the lines/wait can get annoying. Especially since that's where you pay for a bag of chips, can of coke and other convenience items. Last night I waited a few minutes to pay for a soda and nobody even showed up so I left. On the flip side: some of the staff members have been very kind etc. Not bad for a 1 night pit stop but I can't recommend an extended stay.

I even asked at the front desk to have room 306 made up before I left for the day. Nothing. The toilet wobbled and the pull handle in the shower did not work properly. The air conditioning/heating made horrible noises during the night and you could hear people taking in the next room thru the bathroom vent. The bed I slept in had a big lump in the middle of the mattress. For the money I spent, this service was terrible. I am going back to the Marriott a much better quality hotel.

I was able to check in early and they offered late check out if needed. The only thing that could have been better was perhaps including more toiletries (maybe a shower cap, cotton swabs, etc) or a pair of scissors in the kitchen area. Overall, we had a great stay and thought the price was good for the spacious suite!

Four floors and the location was amid a convention center. The rooms were excellent. Staff professional. All the other trappings of a Residence Inn on point. No hot tub in the pool area which was disappointing - but the heated pool (uncommon) was a nice touch. I'll absolutely be back when in the area for work. Couple of notes that are likely cost cutting measures by corporate: 1) No paper towels in the kitchenette section of the room. Kind of annoying. 2.) I know it's been happening over time, but the elimination of face/body lotion from the rooms is something I keep forgetting about. Full service Marriott properties and JWs have it. But now it seems Residence Inns have joined Courtyards and Fairfield properties in this way. I'm sure over the millions of properties these measures add up to real dollars. But it seems the nickel and diming could be made up in other ways. But, like I said, I'm sure there is a global .xls sheet somewhere that could change my mind.
