For some strange reason, the hot tub has not worked both on this most recent stay and when I'd been here prior. The water has always been "lukewarm" at best. The staff had mentioned being aware of the issue, and that it was being "worked on", but no improvement had been made. I specifically book hotels with indoor pools (and ideally, hot tubs) because it's a means of relaxation I like to enjoy at the end of each day. It's hardly relaxing to sit in room temperature water, even if there are bubble jets. Since this appears to be a common issue with this hotel, they may want to invest in some equipment upgrades for their pool and hot tub to improve the guest experience. The little convenience store right next to the front desk is very convenient. Nice to run down for a quick snack or drink, but the cooler with their cold beverages wasn't keeping the drinks cold. I found myself buying multiple bottles of water, and putting them in my room refrigerator to make them cold enough to drink (since I like my water ice cold). It would be nice if products prices were labeled. The breakfast experience needs some help as well; the "flow" isn't obvious. There's a sign stating "please seat yourself" but after I'd seated myself I had to flag down someone because I didn't know whether I had to open a check, or just serve myself at the buffet. The person just said to serve myself. I went up by the buffet which was essentially empty. Another worker said she'd take my order "at the chefs window" - which I didn't see anywhere. I wandered aimlessly for a few moments after she'd disappeared, and she then reappeared and took my order off in the corner. It would have been nice to have a clear "flow" established. Instead of having people seat themselves, have a host seat them in an available seat, and a server check in before people go up to the buffet. This server can then advise latecomers if the buffet is closed, and take a la carte orders or offer whatever is available. There were also hairs left in my bathroom sink and on the rim of my bathtub. There definitely could have been better cleaning done on my room prior to it being released for the next guest (me). Also, the bathroom was about 20-30 degrees colder than my room. I stayed here during November 2019, so it wasn't more than 35 degrees outside. The room heat worked well, but the bathroom had no heat whatsoever, so going to the restroom in the middle of the night was far too jarring to be comfortable. All in all this is a convenient place to stay but I think other hotels in the area have their stuff together just a bit better.

I called Hilton Garden Inn 3 times to discuss this and had 3 very different, rude people telling me that is their fee and nothing can be done about it. I even called corporate, and was told it was their policy. Ok, nothing I can do at this point, but I will NEVER stay at another Hilton again. I go and check in, pay the $150.00 for early check in and go to my room. I come down, enter the lobby and see other guests checking in. Apparently, they were told if you download the Hilton App, you do NOT have to pay the early check in fee. So tell me, why did the 3 people I spoke to on the phone, as well as corporate and the girl that check me in, never me that??? This is unacceptable. UNACCEPTABLE. I did bring it back to their attention and the money was deducted from my account. When I asked the girl, why didn't you tell me about the APP, she said she was doing the best she can. Do not get scammed by this place. If they try to hit you up with the early check in fee, as about downloading the Hilton APP. They tried to take advantage of me. If I did not hear other people talking in the lobby, I would of never know and they would of gotten more money from me. Please be aware of this.

We were so relieved when we contacted the front desk and learned that the housekeeping manager, Nida, had found it and safely set it aside for us. When we returned the next day, we were able to retrieve everything without any issues. A special thank you to Nida for her integrity, care, and professionalism, and to Sachi for the excellent customer service in helping us recover our belongings. It's employees like Nida and Sachi who truly make a difference and turned a great hotel stay into an exceptional one. Thank you both for going above and beyond! Other than that I'd stay again and not get a balcony room. I think it's to deter smoking but it's not even cozy, it's sharp, and not private. We wanted to sit in the lobby, but there was trash at the fireplace. The lobby was unclean ie the couch, table, fireplace area. There was no coffee or cream in our room. It took 40 minutes for them to come up. They brought cream and sugar and no coffee. We called the front desk twice to rectify this issue. There was a phone in the room that did not work and no phone cord, which is a huge safety issue. There was yelling and slamming doors at 6am outside of our room in the hallway. There was also no body soap in the shower, when we showered this morning. We will not be returning, as this was another disappointing stay.
