My wife and I decided, last minute, to give this restaurant a try. What a GREAT place. The ambiance was rusti and warm. We decided to eat downstairs in the tavern which was great choice as the larger fireplace was cozy. The food was outstanding. We started with the Pittenger Farm Sausage & Calamari which was fantastic. (side note: this is farm is local out of Green Township). My wife had the Morroccan Spiced Chicken and I had the Grilled Filet Mignon. We finished the night with Coffee and Creme Brulee..which was a great finish to the meal. (Side note: The coffee was real good and the waitress told us the coffee is roasted locally Kars Coffee out of stillwater...and I will be ordering some later today). Bottom line: The Inn at Millrace Pond is fantastic. It seems to leveraging locally grown food, the dinner was well prepared and the ambiance was perfect. I had never heard of this venue, but upon hearing my best friend booked it for her wedding, I couldn't wait to see it in person on her special day. We arrived super early in the morning to start the process of getting ready. Once we arrived at the bridal suite the lights were off, and it was freezing cold inside. You would think that since they were expecting us they'd be prepared with the lights turned on and the bridal suite warm. We all wore our winter jackets the entire time leading up to the wedding because it felt colder inside the suite than it was outside. People were going to their cars and sitting in them for extra warmth. Apparently, the innkeeper didn't even know there was no heat. How do you not know what is going on?! They kept playing with the remote attempting to make it warmer, but it didn't work. She found a space heater, but it kept tripping the power constantly. The poor hair and makeup artists had to keep stopping because the lights and their appliances shut off, and we had to trip the electrical panel. I would say this happened a good 10-15 times throughout our time of getting ready, no exaggeration. On top of getting ready in an ice box, the breakfast and coffee we had in the bridal suite was extremely underwhelming. Also it wasn't set up, we had to ask for it. There were no utensils, we had to ask for that as well. And the coffee provided was a Keurig machine with no fresh milk, just little disposable single use room temperature creamers. It's a shame because the bridal suite was truly stunning, but more things went wrong than they did right while we were in there, and we couldn't wait to get out of there. I was so excited to check into my room to warm up. I don't know which was worse .. the ice box bridal suite or my 90° room that had a lady bug infestation. My room was scorching hot, too hot. I went to let the innkeeper know what was going on and she was quite frazzled. Literally nothing was going right for us and then this. Apparently, they came to clean out some of the ladybugs, but when I went back in there, there were still plenty so I went back to her and said something again. I understand ladybugs are good luck, but no one wants to sleep in a bug infested room. There was also no control to adjust the temperature in my room. I ended up having to hold the windows open with personal items because they wouldn't stay opened on their own. It was probably about 20° out and I had to leave the windows open all night in the middle of winter. This was also an issue with other guests who stayed on the property. According to other guests, it was either scorching hot with no temperature control options or freezing, no in between. They put space heaters in a ton of the rooms that also had no heat. For what those rooms cost, this was not ok at all. Also when we were sitting down at the table about to eat our salads, the wait staff came over and removed the paper QR codes on the tables. They weren't supposed to do that. I later found out the QR codes provided a link for all of the guests to share photos from the evening. Why would they remove something if they didn't know what it was? The place was really beautiful, but the amount of things that went wrong were unacceptable and extremely stressful for the bride. This should've been the best and most carefree day she had, but instead she was dealing with constant nonsense and chaos. My SO and I attended a wedding at this venue, and we enjoyed ourselves. It's very rustic and quaint, offering an intimate setting for a celebration. All the staff we interacted with were helpful and kind, making our experience even more pleasant. There are also great spots for photo ops throughout the location, so that's a definite perk. For dinner, there were several options available, but I was given meat instead of a vegetarian meal. Eventually, the correct meal was brought to me some time after everyone else was able to dig in. Knowing that they were going to throw away my original dish, I asked if it could be boxed up to take home, but I was told no. I'm not a fan of wastefulness, especially when such a simple mistake happens. Overall, we had a lovely time and appreciated being able to attend such a fun celebration at this location. read more

I attended this spot for a wedding. It was an old mill from hundreds of years ago that was transformed into a bed and breakfast along with a large space for ceremonies and events. There was an outdoor area during the cocktail hour with a bar and several tables to sit at. The cocktail hour was a little tight given the number of people and the tight constraints. The actual location for where the main event was spacious and much better. For cocktail hour, there were numerous stations including different types of sliders, a pasta bar, taco bar, etc. There were also pass around apps too. My favorite was definitely the pork belly and quail egg. It was a great combination. The burger and chicken cutlet sliders were tasty and the cheese ravioli with vodka sauce was decent. The ravioli was very large though. The taco had a large amount of fixings available too. The salad course was a mixed field greens with poached pears, dried cranberries, carrot shaves, goat cheese, and candied walnuts in a honey Dijon balsamic vinaigrette. It was a little skimpy, but decent overall. I went with the grilled filet mignon that was served with a dark port wine reduction sauce. I do not think it was actually filet mignon, but more of a tenderloin cut of meat. It was cooked to an ideal temperature of medium rare and the wine reduction sauce complimented it nicely. The vegetables that were on the plate were not nearly cooked enough, however. Will I go back? Sure. read more

Our bartender said they've just reopened after a 2 year hiatus so I will overlook the disorganization. The drinks came out at all different times. My friends were done with drinks before I even got my glass of wine. How hard is it to pour a glass of wine? One of our flatbreads were incorrect. We ordered two of the Pear & Prosciutto but one came with figs. When we asked about it, our server said the chef said he made the same two Flatbreads. There was a little back & forth so I had to point out the figs and showed that figs weren't anywhere in the menu at all! She DID eventually replace it but by that time, everyone else's food was cold. Not that we were looking for any but there was no compensation for the inconvenience at all. Also, prices were high. Although it was tasty, $13 for that skinny 3" x 8" Flatbread was a high. $8 for the wine. Ambiance was nice & cozy with a huge fireplace. read more

I would never recommend this venue. I originally booked this venue in March 2023 with lots of pressure from Maria Pastena. When I told Maria we were interested in booking our date, she wanted me to bring a check for the deposit that morning. When I told her I couldn't get there that morning, she pressured me into going to their Verona office that afternoon because she said she can't guarantee I'll get my date unless I give them the deposit. She was way too aggressive trying to get our deposit check. Mind you, It was March of 2023, my date was 10/13/24. I did end up bringing them a check to book that date. At the Verona office, the women there were not friendly at all. You would think I was walking into a prison, they were so miserable. Meanwhile, I'm so excited to be booking my wedding date and the women I dealt with should not be working in customer service with their lack of enthusiasm and attitudes. Fast forward to July 2023, we had to cancel our wedding date because I was pregnant and we wanted to get married before the baby got here and wanted to have a smaller wedding. Frungillo could not have been less understanding. Despite me giving them 15.5 months notice, they refused to give me back my deposit. There are couples not even engaged yet who could get engaged and book that date it was so far in advanced. Frungillo didn't even offer to let us stay at the venue for a few nights, have dinner there, nothing. I drove by the venue on our original wedding date, 10/13/24, and they had a wedding there! Absolutely disgusting business practice. It would be one thing if they weren't able to rebook that date, but they did! These wedding venues/vendors really take advantage of happy couples. It's pathetic. I would never recommend this venue and I have told numerous people about how poorly this entire situation was handled. read more

We also opted to provide all the guest rooms to our guests that traveled from a distance! Everything is newly renovated and the new barn for weddings is just amazing! I just stayed at the inn, May, 2023 with a small group and had the best experience! The rooms were nice and clean and the bed was so comfortable. Tricia, the Innkeeper told me that they replaced all the mattresses with new ones. The breakfast is simple but good, and everyone at the Inn was incredibly nice. But Tricia stands out. So accommodating as this was a work trip for us, but no doubt I will be returning for a trip of relaxation sometime soon. A very special experience. read more

I went to a wedding here and this is simply a majestic location. There is an amazing space for a tent and dance floor. There is multi-room building was an excellent place for a cocktail hour, especially with a wonderful outdoor terrace attached to the building. It was a good combination of classy Americana from a century ago and modern facilities. So why not 5 stars? 1. Seriously, more bathrooms are needed 2. What an adorably quaint little place. The construction here pre-dates the independence of our country, and the management has been able to preserve all the best parts of its rich history. The rooms are reasonably sized, but keep in mind it is a cute little inn. You get a warm and homey vibe from the staff and establishment itself. The downstairs is definitely a place to hang out with some friends. Additionally, we were here for a small wedding in their dining room where all meals were prepared by the restaurant's chef. HANDS DOWN THE BEST FOOD I'VE EVER HAD AT A WEDDING. It's even high up there for best food at a restaurant period. My mother took over all planning and she loved working w the inn (Taylor), tavern (Brett), caterers (Dawn-Frungillo Caterers) and on site florist (Peggy). Our guests had so much fun and loved the venue. We all called it "the compound." Def rent out the entire Inn for the wkd (17 rooms) and have your close family and friends there. We had a rehearsal dinner in the "meeting house," fires both nights and after party at the tavern. Food was delicious. Beds comfortable. Decor quaint. And can't bet the natural setting. read more

I WAS a huge fan of this place. You'd be hard pressed to find a more charming and engaging venue; whether you choose the dining room upstairs, or the bar downstairs. The menu was off the beaten path (in a good way) and everything was wonderful. Sadly, all that has changed. Apparently there are new owners. The place is still gorgeous, but the food could easily be surpassed by ANY diner and was amateur in quality at best. It's unfortunate, because our server was lovely, engaging and her service was one of the best I've experienced anywhere. Too bad the kitchen can't match her quality. Came up to this Bed and Breakfast for a wedding. This place was recommended by my girlfriends family as a wonderful place to stay. My girlfriend was unable to make contact with them the whole week leading up to the wedding because they did not answer the phone. We eventually were able to confirm our reservation the night before by sending a facebook message. We arrived at the venue and surprisingly it was a beautiful place, that was about as far as the positives go. We initially booked room 9 but when we arrived we were given a different room. When we realized this, the staff "graciously" moved us to that room. We were told that the reasoning behind them not contacting us was because of a storm the night before We were initially told that the AC acts up and it is on a timer. When we moved into that room, the temperature was set to 82 and the AC was proving no match. When we left the hotel to go to the wedding at 330p, the temperature dropped to 79. When we returned back to the hotel at 10p, much to our surprise, the temperature in the room was back up to 82 and the AC system was blowing hot air. We called the inn keeper on her personal cell and she advised that we had to turn it on and turn it off and to call her back in 25minutes. We were advised that if it still does not work, that she will bring up fans. The AC would kick on and then turn off every hour; leaving us to bask in our sweat until one of us would get up and shut the whole system down and restart it. Also the beds are quite old and they are on old frames; the guests staying in the room above us were having quite the time and you could hear the squeaking and the headboard bouncing off the wall all night. The following morning, we were quite irritable from the heat and lack of sleep and were greeted with a $10 Dunkin Donuts gift card instead of the breakfast that was advertised. When my girlfriend spoke with the "inn keeper" and explained how the night went, the "inn keeper" seemed to have a look of "I don't care" and her reaction to what was being said was the same except for a sorry. read more

This place WAS my favorite place. Since my last visit it has changed hands. I was so disappointed. The building is so beautiful. Old water wheel house in Hope NJ. It looks like Paul Revere or George Washington may have stayed there. The food WAS amazing a year ago. NOW, not so much. Terrible doesn't even describe it. The new tavern menu is basically a children's menu. Chix fingers, nachos, pizza etc. It did have one gourmet item, duck wontons. They were out of them, of course. We were seated down stairs in the "tavern" by the fireplace. Nice,right? We needed an oxygen mask to go because my asthma was triggered by smoke inhalation. The fries we ordered tasted like oil and I am pretty sure they added uneaten pizza from a former patron onto our flat bread pizzette? Why were those extta pieces on the plate? The Inn at Millrace Pond I traveled into the area with a girlfriend. We originally reserved a room at another Inn** but upon arrival it was just too old with stained carpets and mold in the bathrooms. In desperation we called the Millrace Pond after hours number in hopes of getting a room. Jessica was great about taking our call so late and, despite being packed for a wedding, had a room available. Our room (#3) had 2 twin sized 4 poster beds. We maneuvered the little foyer wood table between the beds and had a midnight snack of chees and wine. We promptly fell asleep with the cool fall air blowing through the open windows. The inn grounds are adorable and consist of several buildings. The main check in building has sleeping rooms, serves breakfast, and has a tavern below. (We had to change rooms our second night and ended up in room 12 of the main building. The room was directly over the breakfast room so it was noisy with the wedding crown by 8:30ish) Another large building set back on the property (with large outdoor party tent) was being used for a wedding cocktail/reception area. The area was decorated with natural foliage and flowers for the wedding. It was very charming. The buildings had main community areas with seating, coffee/tea, and complimentary cold bottled water. * did not have the chance to eat at restaurant/tavern. *The staff was polite and attentive. *My friend pre-booked for her next trip back to the area. **The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort looked like it was quite an exquisite inn at one point in time. The grounds were beautiful and they seemed to have fun daily activities planned for the guest. We were curious about their "Glamping" opportunities and the on site brewery. I presume it is supported by long time clientele but now seems to be in desperate need of updating. read more

We stayed at this inn on June 2. I had made confirmed reservations on May 2 for one night. We arrived around 4 p.m. and the reservation door was locked. I finally located an individual and she said, "Oh, we don't have any reservations for tonight." I had my confirmation with me. Finally, another person was located and she arrived. She told me we were the only guests in the entire facility. After she charged my credit card, she then told me that the Inn was under new owners and there was NO CABLE AVAILABLE. THe grounds are lovely and well maintained. Our room was furnished with an assortment of furnishings. The curtains were evidently from a Dollar store. I was very disappointed in this Inn. I had attended a wedding reception at the Inn about ten years ago and was eager to re-visit. read more

We decided to try lunch today and I wish we could take that decision back! We were the only people there - I ordered the chicken pot pie, my husband the Blackened Shrimp Alfredo served over fettuccini pasta with white truffle Alfredo sauce for $22.00. It was tiny. Appetizer tiny. It was also a mix of fettuccini and PENNE. You DON'T mix pasta's! The sauce was good but the penne (that was not supposed to be there anyway) was MUSHY. The shrimp frozen and bland. We did something we NEVER do but the spirit of Gordon Ramsay was with us. We complained and ordered something else. A simple Caesar salad with chicken. Easy right? Apparently not, it took 20 MINUTES to bring out. Did I mention we were the only ones there? My husband waited so long that he ate the rest of my chicken pot pie. The salad that took forever to make was a few pieces of iceburg lettuce, stale croutons and the chicken was BAD. It was tough and didn't smell right. The waitress apologized, took off the shrimp dish and didn't charge us for the salad. Thank goodness for that at least. We found out that for weddings and events they CATER IT OUT TO ANOTHER COMPANY. Obviously they don't know how to cook! I've lived next to this place for almost my whole life and we went to a party there recently where the food was absolutely excellent. I tried to call 3 times a few months ago to book a party based on the good food at the party we attended. I was told each time someone would call me back. No one did. Very disappointed and in the end glad I didn't have my party there - and we will NEVER be going back there again to eat lunch or dinner. read more

Sweet Inn in the mountains of NJ. I'm biased because I love this area. I love everything about it. Despite some really bad recent reviews my bf and I decided to make our own opinions about this inn. Ive eaten here before and the food was amazing so why not check out the dinner again and stay this time. Yes, it's haunted. Yes, the homemade butter is spiked with honey but no unfortunately it's not for sale. The venison was cooked perfect, not too well but rare enough to absorb the tangy blueberry sauce accompanying it. The wild boar sausage was not over smoked but was perfection. Before the new managment came around this place was known for their local game selection as well as their wine selection. Not the case now. I was sorry to hear. The tavern downstairs is (was) more intimate with the fireplace, this time around, the only music was from the Alabama game being shut off to turn on the tv hits. Big bad! but I got over it w/ the company. The walls thin and the layout sweet, country and warm. The breakfast was relaxed and not a typical continental fare but you sit at a table and they offer you pretty much a large selection to choose from. Added bonus is that there is a stream that goes right thru the restaurant into the Grist Mill, where we stayed in one of the fourteen rooms. The stone cottage has two rooms and the other one we didn't bother with bc it looked too new. High rec's all around w/ the exception of a few things but parts of friday the 13th were filmed here (amongst a million other places in northwest jersey) so why not check it out for that reason alone, if not for the homemade butter! read more

Horrible Stay! We booked the 2BR/2BA Cabin at the Inn based on the pictures on the website. It was $400/night. Unfortunately, at check-in, the hostess couldn't locate the key. When we were finally able to get into the Cabin, we were greeted with the smell of must and mildew. Both bedrooms were furnished with full-sized beds (definitely not queens, as I have a queen at home). Furthermore, one of the toilet seats was completely covered in mold. It was DISGUSTING! The breakfast was no better than at Hampton Inn/Holiday Inn. Stay Away! read more

They've changed chefs several times in the last few years and it's hard to say whether it's good or bad at this point. They seemed inconsistent and rather lost the last few times I was there. What a great place to stay after a long motorcycle ride. My husband and I rolled into town late afternoon and were delighted with the charm of this old grist mill. Our room in the Stone Cottage was large, nice, but not overly fancy (like some B&Bs). The inn keepers were very welcoming. We had a really nice dinner downstairs in the tavern. It was our anniversary so the waitress brought us a split of champagne on the house (which was really nice). We had a wonderful mushroom soup, followed by a very blue-cheesy wedge salad. My baby back ribs were absolutely to die for, my husband had peppercorn encrusted pork chops that were also great. It was a really nice, reasonably priced meal. Breakfast was quite lavish compared to some B&Bs. We had omelettes & fresh fruit. All in all, it was a wonderful stay! read more

The menu made no note of it and prior to that we had ordered this same sandwich and gotten a whole one. Not sure when exactly the ownership changed at the Inn but it's been at least six months and they still haven't worked out their kinks. Upon arrival had to search for someone to check-in. Asked about dinner in their tavern which had recently re-opened and told unless we were looking for basic meals of hot dogs/burgers/chicken tenders we might prefer going elsewhere and that we'd probably be the only ones there. Walking through the sitting room to get to our room we noticed used mugs of coffee on the coffee table (same mugs still there next morning). Went to dinner offsite (Buck Hill Brewery which we enjoyed). Returned to room for the evening and that's when we discovered a bath towel with an old stain, WiFi password not working and no Cable TV. There is no front desk service after 5pm and the Innkeeper was offsite. We were given his cell number and though he answered and said he'd try to fix WiFi, the problem wasn't fixed. We'd overlook the faintly stained bath towel (things get missed) and the outdated old style TV, but advertising an open tavern and amenities like Cable and WiFi and then not delivering is poor customer service. Not wanting to stay for the complimentary breakfast we checked out early in the morning and relayed our issues to Eddie the Innkeeper. When asked what he could do to make things right he offered us a free night's stay...thanks but no thanks. read more

I was just here for a friends wedding and I stayed the night as well. The wedding was truly whimsical and the grounds are beautiful. Even the food was fantastic and all the servers where very friendly and helpful. As for the room... The room was on the small side(Not a big deal.) and had a private bathroom in it which was nice. Everything was clean and neat. The floors in the room, I know it's an Inn. Holy moly, they are really, really loud. And the bed was a queen size but wasn't very comfy at all and the comforter had a hole in it. Overall, I thought it was a nice place with off street free parking. It would be a place to come and chill out. The mill itself is where the restaurant is located and is very interesting to look at inside. Not sure if they are motorcycle friendly, but I would think they should be as the road 519, seems like a very cool route to ride on. I saw plenty of motorcycles on it. read more

We booked the room at this beautiful historic inn months ago. Prior to arriving I attempted to reach out multiple times to confirm, but no one ever returned my calls. After sending a very DIRECT Facebook message the night before we finally received a response. Once we arrived the room we were placed in was not the room I originally booked. The bed couldn't have been a queen and the portable AC unit was taped into the window. Taped into the window with gaping holes, there were spider webs all around the window and not on the outside. I was able to track down Keri and after a discussion we were moved to the room I originally booked. Please know had foot surgery and this particular room had a larger shower making it easier to get around and the bed was a queen. This was the beginning of a horrible night. Room 9 was extremely hot as we moved our luggage in but the AC was just turned on. So we knew to give it time. Keri (manager) explained the AC in that room was on a timer and would shut off on occasion so we knew to keep an eye out just in case. We left for a wedding at 3:30 it was 79 degrees in the room at that time. After arriving back to the room that evening 10pm it was 82 degrees in the room apparently the AC kicked off. I called the on call person who basically said, I told you the AC could time out. Also adding she could bring fans if the AC didn't kick back on. We finally got the AC up and running or so we thought. The AC unit kicked off every hour and the room didn't get below 76degrees(by 7am). If they knew the AC unit was that horrible no guests should have been allowed to stay in that room till it was fixed. Yes we were up every hour to restart the AC to keep the room below 80 degrees. It felt like an oven. After speaking with the onsite manager, who gave us a "I gave you the room you wanted attitude" and a sorry. We left so tired and irritated. I never want to return! Please note the bathrooms need some much needed TLC and the service was horrible. The nicest people there were the cleaning staff we meet in the morning. To top it off they gave all the couples a $10 gift card for dunken donuts for breakfast instead of supplying it as stated on line. Also they are currently billing me the incorrect amount on my credit card. This could have been a beautiful experience for guests with so much potential but what a waste. read more

This place has a great charm and on the downstairs level it has an even better atmosphere. My family and I have come here in the past on a couple occasions and had a good experience. We sat downstairs by the fireplace, had a great waiter and overall the food was good. HOWEVER, my most recent visit was the complete opposite. We walked in and it was pretty quiet. No wait or crowd standing in the entrance(which usually there is)-especially when the craft show is in town, like it was. I asked if we could be seated downstairs and was told it was full. No problem I say, we'll wait for a table to open up. The hostess says, you can come back and check in a bit if a table opened up, or I can seat you here in the upstairs dining area. Again I said, we'll wait for downstairs -it's not a problem. She said "no you can't wait, If you want to come check periodically, you can."(check periodically? like I'm going to go outside in the cold and walk around and check in every so often? That's completely absurd) So strange. We've waited in the past for a table downstairs.. Anyway, we said ok, we'll take a table here and sat upstairs in the dining area and were greeted by the waitress, she took our order, brought us drinks and soups. We then waited 30 minutes for salads. After having eaten salads, another 30 minutes passed and we asked the waitress if we could have some bread for the table(since it was never brought to us originally and the food was taking so long). ...she made a face(like bread, really? now?) and said, but your food is almost out. Not really because it's been a half hour since we had salads and nothing. So, she brings bread. Bread was eaten in minutes. 25 minutes pass and the food was brought to us. Keep in mind, main courses consisted of: risotto balls, (2) cheeseburger dishes, (1) Turkey sandwich. We sat down at 11:30am and didn't leave until 2pm! over two hours and it consisted of waiting - and in he end, they charge my card double the bill! So, what was once a nice place for us to goto when in that area just became a no repeat location due to the lack of and poor service. Was here recently for a wedding. Overall it was a really nice experience. Decent food. Beautiful tent. Tavern area for before or after the reception - although I think this closed earlier than they said they would. Cocktail hour was in a nice old building built in the early 1800s. Plenty of waiters constantly rotating trays of hors d'ouevres They also have a bonfire pit so after the wedding we just brought a couple of coolers of beers, and smores making materials and continued the party. The rooms were reasonably priced and just very old, quaint and beautiful. Very historic feeling. Comfortable beds, nice showers... This is located in the western/ northwestern "nice" area of New Jersey. Very quiet and rural with plenty of outdoor and historical activities nearby. Also close to route 80 for easy access. read more

The tavern downstairs is truly unique. You should check it out. The upstairs is very nice and when empty sort of like a cafeteria at the same time. In some ways it strikes me as an authentic Cracker Barrel. You can get old timey comfort food like you would get at your grandmother's (e.g., chicken pot pie) but with real, less processes ingredients. We stayed at the Inn. Had the fireplace in our room been working - it would have been magical. Alas, they are doing construction. I would stay and eat here again on my next western NJ hiking adventure and recommend to others. read more

We came here for a belated valentines day dinner tonite and I can't say enough about this place, the ambience was awesome, so unique and there is so much history here. The service by Kip and Danielle were spot on, they definetely know their stuff and it showed in their professionalism and attention to detail. The food was just as good, Chef Stephon and Sous Chef Mike definititely know what they are doing, we had an assortment of cheeses and the rissotto balls for an appetizer with some great drinks from the drink menu. Then we had the Moroccan chicken and Filet Mignon with such great spices and cooked to perfection we could'nt finish it all so we boxed it up for later. We finished off the evening with a delicious creme brulee and it was so delicous, definitely a great spot for date or there is a tavern/bar downstairs for cocktails and apps, we will definetely be back!!!! read more

Enjoyed our lunch here. Pros: beautiful historic setting, generous portion for entree salad (had the spinach, chevre and beets), friendly service Cons: While friendly, server wasn't particularly attentive. There was one other party there, and they left about 5 minutes after we arrived, so no idea why we had to wait on refills and to get our check. Also disappointed they had no vegetarian option beyond the salads; in this day and age that's a no-brainer. read more
