There is NOTHING QUALITY about this hotel. After I booked it, I decided to read reviews. Unfortunately, there are no cancellations. The only reason we booked it is because Pala was booked. We walked in and immediately smelled the horrible stench of cigarettes. The carpet was beyond dirty with stains, I wouldn't even walk on it barefoot. The bed sheet had stains and when we lifted the sheet to check the mattress, it was full of stains. The restroom is old and you could tell the toilet wasn't cleaned. The property is unkept and dirty as well. This hotel is only worth $5 a night but unfortunately they know they can charge a lot since it's close to Pala. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! read more

This place is disturbingly gross. Check in time was at 3 pm and we arrived around 2:50 pm. The room wasn't ready yet and they didn't even start cleaning it. Around 3:15 we had to get going to a wedding so we dropped our stuff off un the room while they were still cleaning. The front desk had to check me in twice because he didn't save my information the first time. Nothing about the room was clean-the sheets were stained and we had no towels. I wouldn't have stepped into the nasty shower even if we had towels. There's no hand soap, only hand sanitizer? There are cigarette butts everywhere and tons of trash outside. The pillows were literally the size of throw pillows. This was the only place in the area that had availability for the night. We were only there to sleep, but we should have just driven home. Staying here is a big fat NO! I was locked into staying. I was in town for Wedding and could not find another place. Hotel has a huge liability, sliding glass door opens to a roof top with a waist high iron fence, any child could get over this and get on roof and fall from second floor. Room was very noisy, neon green Quality sign shines through window. Lights missing lamp shades, water damage on ceiling, no bedspreads, just sheets. Small bed pillows had to ask for standard pillows. Next day room was not cleaned and no fresh towels, when asked, they said we had to request it. So after much discussion on unhappiness with room we wanted a new one, this took over an hour and yes room was a tiny better, but not up to standards. Microwave missing glass plate, had to go back to old room to get standard pillows, broken wall mirror, smoke alarm chirps when taking a shower, even with door closed and fans on, windows open ( again with no screens). Looked forward to going in Hot Tub and off course it was not working. They say Hot breakfast, well I guess if you call cereal and waffle maker hot breakfast then I guess so. Front Desk was less then helpful and very argumentative. And I do have to mention when calling customer Service when I got home , they were less than helpful. If I could give this 0 stars, I would. This place was a total dump. We arrived and found a short and curly hair on the bathroom floor. Tub and toilet were disgusting. Paint was peeling off all the walls. We packed up our kids in their pjs and drive 3 hours home that night rather than stay here. Worst experience ever! Half renovated and cheaply at that! Sheets had oil marks. Holes in the wall that made me worry about peepers! Shower water was cold and then scalding, no in between! Kitchen/staging area was not up to code. Food left to sit out, milk left un-refrigerated. Not to mention the RUDE manager Geneva who refused to refund us when we called back to give them a chance to make the situation right. The woman at the counter was very nice. We have stayed in some extremely gross hotels so this one was a pleasant surprise. Definitely nicer than the Rodeway Inn close by. But it says that they serve breakfast and they do not. So that was disappointing that we paid extra thinking we were going to be able to have breakfast and when we got there, they're not serving at all. read more

AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. Simple as that. Legit the worst hotel I have stayed at in a few categories: cleanliness, safety, and customer service. Cleanliness: place is old and run down. You think during Covid they would ramp up cleaning, but no. Room was filthy, looks like someone wiped their butt on the curtain, stepped on the bed with their shoes on, and drew on the walls. I can't stress this enough, the place was filthy. Safety: not their fault that the police were their the night that I arrived. But after asking the police if I should be concerned they said no, but they do come to this hotel often. I didn't feel very safe, rough crowd when I was there with rowdy people, staff didn't seem too concerned. Customer service: I ended up checking out the same day. Couldn't muster even to lay in the bed. Talked to the staff and they were super unaccommodating and referred me to the manager. We was spotty on getting back to me, and wasn't helpful at all, not even an apology. Corporate customer service was a joke too. I WOULD NOT STAY HERE AGAIN IF THEY PAID ME, GO ANYWHERE ELSE. I always wonder why when people wrote a review they said "I would give this place zero stars if I could." Well now I know why. I wish I would have seen the photos of this place on yelp before booking instead of the booking website . My mistake. I usually only write reviews on positive experiences but this by far has to be written. . This by far is the worst place I have ever stayed. The room was disgusting to say the least. First off. The room did not have any towels, which at first was not a problem. I thought it would be an easy task of just asking for some towels in our room. I asked the cleaning lady if she has any towels for our room. She was about to hand me some towels off of her cart that look like she had just removed them from a room she had just finished cleaning. The towels were not folded which led me to believe that they were used. She asked me if she could grab them with the same gloves she was using clean with. I told her that would be unsanitary. When she showed me the towels. They looked like they were dirty but she said they were stained. I told her that I would wait for some clean towels as she said they were still in the wash and need to be dried. This was not just my room. This was multiple rooms. I had two other couples that rented a room here and they also did not have any towels. The room did not have any soap bars either. THE INSIDE OF THE SHOWER CURTAIN HAD DRIED BOOGERS. Who does that?! I've seen them on the wall of a stall to a toilet but on a shower curtain? Just put them down the shower drain. I wish I took photos to show and go along with this review. I'm not even going to speak about the cosmetics in the room. We were so afraid to sleep on the bed for fear of bedbugs or the sheets not cleaned. I would have rather have slept in my car for a few hours and just drove back home. We stayed here because it was close to Pala Casino. In hindsight, It would have been well worth the double cost of a room at the casino than trying to save money or think we just need a place to lay our head for one night. Lesson learned read more

This place is a DUMP do NOT stay here!!!! We arived with our 2 month old and were instantly disappointed Went up to the room to feed him and couldn't even sit on the bed it was so disgusting! The bed was dirty. The pillows were two tiny sofa pillows, without a case. The mirror was shattered. There were flies in the room, spider webs in the corners and a huge spider on the ceiling. The toilet was dark brown on the edges. Shower was filthy. I had to finish feeding my baby as I stood in the center of the room crying, as my husband went downstairs to cancel our reservation. Worst part is they refused to refund us and only offered another room. Couldn't pay me enough money to stay at this establishment. Horrible customer service as well. The guy at the desk was more interested in his phone and checking his text messages than helping us check in/out, despite arriving with a fussy baby. First off the receptionist was high as a kite she couldn't even talk nor had no idea what I was taking about (I booked the deluxe room that's basic) and she said there wasn't one. 2nd the room was behind a closed random door with another room that felt unsafe. There was soooo many druggies and weirdos I had to take my personal belongings with me. The room wasn't not clean at all found cigarettes in the sink, mocos on the shower, stains on the sheets and towels. The heath department definitely needs to show up! This place is disgusting the rooms smell like body odor and mildew!!! Nothing like the pictures on the site. My husband and I reserved a room when we got there we paid at the front desk then was lead to the room as we were walking the WHOLE premises looked rundown, the pool had green stuff in it looked like it hadn't been cleaned for years!!! A room that shows on the site where you can dine in looked like a storage and dirty, when we entered our room the room was so smelling like someone was actually living there for months, the furniture was so old and dirty and the noise of a small refrigerator was so loud... the smell of the room was so overwhelming we ran out of the room and went straight to the front desk and asked for our money back the front desk didn't argue with us just gave me a print out of my refund and told me to contact the general manager NICK for my full refund.. we left immediately booked a room a few miles away with another hotel.. So I sent an email to the general manager NICK and he states now I CANT get my refund because the front offered me a different room!!! Worst Hotel Experience Ever!!! Avoid this dump at all costs. I stayed here along with many others for a wedding and we all had numerous problems in all the rooms ranging from TVs not working to finding blood in the bed and pillows. The hotel has nice curb appeal but the property is not well kept and the cleanliness of the rooms is despicable. First day here they switched us rooms after they could not fix our TV. The shower faucet also would not close. The room they switched us too had a bad AC thermostat causing the AC to not fully work, none but one of the lights worked, and I found blood on the bed's mattress pad. We booked a room for 2 nights at this hotel. We got there and were told that they didn't have a key for the room and that it was propped open and that if we had to leave to just leave the door propped open.... First off how safe is that to leave the door open, if we did leave the door open with our personal belongings who is going to be responsible for our stuff if someone was to steal it or the fact that I could have walked into to the room with someone just inside already.... Also there were weird people just hanging around the hallways... another thing is when we went inside it was disgusting to say the least. The floors were sticky I got a video where you can hear my feet sticking the the floor, the walls were gross, the sink looked like there was dry boogers on it, the bed was clearly past its usage (sunk in). My fiance and I stayed here for one night because we couldn't find an affordable one night stay in Temecula. The hotel room was spacious enough. The sheets were clean, but I noticed a few strands of hair in the shower. We mainly stayed here to sleep, so it was enough for us. This place doesn't offer free breakfast, but they offer a $5 voucher for their bar/restaurant. We ordered a breakfast sandwich in the morning, and it took too long for it to be made. The food, however, did taste pretty good for the price. We paid around $60 for the night, which is why I gave this place 3 stars. However, I noticed that this place can be as expensive as $160 (in May/June). Definitely not worth that price! read more

This is one of the worst places that I have stayed. Website pictures look great, except they were taken 20 years ago. That was the last time this property did any repairs. We booked rooms 119 and 120, first floor adjoining rooms. We were in fallbrook for a wedding, with my 92 year old Mother. The room was dirty, drapes broken, mirrors and t.v. Had residue on them. End tables were stained with rings from wet drinks, floor had spots in it from who knows what. Oh ! The coffee pot had white paint overspray on it, also the basket was filthy, much like your strainer in the sink.. very disappointed. I called, they quoted me $160 a night. For a small ass town, and a hotel that had nothing else around it, I thought It would be way cheaper. With my AAA discount and after saying that $160 was too much. I got them down to $140. Still pricey for this small hotel in the middle of nowhere. When I got there, my room had badly placed furniture, I mean, the corner of the desk was at the end of the hall from the bathroom leading to the bed and there was about a foot of room. So I ended up moving the desk perpendicular to the wall, which gave me about 18 inches to walk by. I looked at the back of the door to find the prices on them, It stated $200 a night for one person, and $220 per night for 2 people staying in the room. RIDICULOUS! The room seriously wasn't worth the $140 I paid, let alone $200! And to top it off, the water pressure in my room (#115 BTW, just in case you wondered), sucked and the water temp was not as hot as I hoped. Oh, I forgot to mention the heavy footed children running loose above my room at 9 at night, when i am trying to relax!!! read more

I'm giving this hotel three stars due to being inexpensive, ($62 with taxes) quiet, and clean. For this price point you know that you get what you pay for. This hotel is simply a place to sleep, NOT a place to hang out at. As I stated previously, our room was clean. I saw no bugs, and there was warm water (water pressure seemed a bit low and no extra towels were available). Front desk staff was friendly and apologetic that she could offer no more bath towels for our room. She did give us three pool towels, which was interesting since there were none out at the pool so I guess stop by and get some before heading to the pool. This hotel property has a lot of potential but seems to currently be suffering from neglect. The grass was up to our ankles in some places, there was a dead bird by the pool, the pool itself was pretty dirty, decorative pots by the pool were filled with trash and storage of mattresses and old furniture was right next to where you park. If you are looking for something inexpensive and this is a good location for you, it's worth $60. read more

It is a Motel not Hotel where people live. The staff really was kind and accommodating, especially Omar! The lock on our door did not work. The room smelled, was dirty, especially the rug. We did not feel safe. The pool and jacuzzi were cold. The pool had a potato bug crawling and living under the water, which probably meant there was not enough chlorine in the pool. This hotel does NOT give refunds and will charge you even if you stay long enough to see the room and immediately check out. We were in the room 10 minutes and got charged for both nights! According the "Choice Hotels" who I complained to... they say this Quality Inn, as well as their other hotels, is privately owned and they can't do anything about it. How do they set standards for their hotels but they can't control the standards of the hotels that's are disgusting and unsafe to public health? Makes no sense. If you're thinking of staying here - its a dump!! I travel frequently and have had hit and miss experiences with this hotel brand. My last few stays (at other locations) were good and there were almost no other choices in the area since most hotels were booked - with think for many weddings being held at the wineries during the summer months. General Manager- Geneva should learn about customer service. We had 6-7 families heading down to Fallbrook for a wedding weekend. We have a 5-month- old baby that needs a pack-and-play kit. Before booking online, we called to make sure there is one at Quality Inn. When we got there to check in, the front desk lady confirmed that they have the pack and play kit; however we could not get to our rooms until after the wedding around 8pm to confirm. The night shift front desk said he had never heard of it and was willing to report to the general manager (GM) - Geneva who came in at midnight. We ended up buying a pack-and-play kit at nearby Walmart. When we talked to the GM, she started blaming us for not checking the availability of the kit before check-in (how can we check the kit if the room was not ready at check-in time), she tried to escalate the situation by blaming around for stolen clients instead of apologizing for their poor customer services. Then later they said they found the pack-and-play kit in closet. ‍ Lies after lies. Please stay away from this hotel if you can and save yourself from irresponsible management and smoking housekeeping staffs. read more

Don't stay here! We walked into our room after a long day of fun and see a LARGE spider on the wall. Not what you want to see when you're ready to go to bed. Told staff and they moved us to a new room, no hesitation. However, the next room we were in wasn't any better for us. As we got some luggage from the car we see a family of rats scurrying away from the garage area. We then moved the night stands around a bit to check for any bugs, only to find large debris and lots of trash behind each. The comforter of our bedsheet had a large black grease stain that they tried to hide with the top sheet. There was also a puddle of water that flooded one of the landing of the stairs, and all they had was a caution sign in the middle of it. Had they just put a little effort into sweeping the water away the puddle would have been gone. Instead we had to walk daintily along the edge of the wall to not got our shoes/sock wet. We had a reservation for two night and after telling staff of all we experienced they said we couldn't cancel our second night because it wasn't more than 24 hours in advance! Not only did my room smell of cigarettes, which caused me to have asthma attacks all night, but there were numerous safety hazards. The faceplates on the outlets were cracked or missing and the smoke detector was hanging down from the ceiling. My biggest concern was that I didn't have the ability to properly lock the door. When we got to car I saw someone behind desk, I went in and told him toilet not working, he said he would send someone to look at toilet. It was 5 am and we needed showers and were leaving at 6:30 am, I said no, is there a toilet I can use. When we checked out I asked for a refund for non-operable toilet. They refused. 1/5 Terrible This was my single worst hotel experience. I stay in quality inns all over the country. That are usually great. This hotel was awful from the start. No hot water. My room was still full of the maids cleaning supplies, which they were not in a hurry to collect. Took hours just to fix the hot water. The woman Desiree at the front desk was rude and bitter at every turn. My refrigerator fell over it had no legs. The heater barely worked. I was above the lobby and could hear phones and beeps all night. Finally my last night when I got back to my room, I am a disabled veteran with a service dog, I was locked out because they had forgotten to charge my card. I had already signed for the room so when I disputed I was met with more rudeness. This time from the young boy working there. He tried over charging me, I spoke to the general manager who did nothing but tell me she is home sick. It got to the point I had to have the police come to get my things out of the room. The boy felt threatened by me and my dog at this point so I waited outside for the sheriff. When she arrived, SD County, she was beyond nice and helped me get my things. My girlfriend and I had the misfortune of staying here for a few days. We thought the location was ideal, but the hotel was awful! The shower was infested with ants, they never once came in and made up the room the entire time we were there. We tried to use the pool, but even though it looked clean, the water was ice cold IN THE HOT TUB! We wanted some ice, but the machine was rusted and not working. We went for breakfast the first morning there, but the only thing they had was dry cereal and waffle batter that looked like it was left over from the day before. Every day we came back, we had to go back to the front desk so they could re-code our keys since they didn't work. We tried to connect to the Wi-Fi in our room, but it wouldn't connect. The error message said we were too far from the router, even though we were almost right next to the office (it worked in the breakfast room). There was some garbage in between the bed and night stands that looked like it had been there a while. The bed was rock hard. I'm pretty sure one of they guys that worked there was having sex with his girlfriend in the next room at 3 am. The worst part was the at the staff didn't seem to car at all about any of the problems. Overall, it was miserable. read more

I called a day prior and spoke to David to let the hotel know a friend (staying in the same room) would be checking into the hotel prior on my behalf. David (employee) said he left a note in their system and my friend would have no problem checking in. Once my friend got there they would not let her check in. After the wedding we all went back to the hotel to check in again and the hotel told us no rooms were available!!! We were told "sorry" and left without anywhere to stay.
