The room is garbage. The mattress is unacceptable. I have upload some photo of the mattress and you check it out for yourself and see if it worth it or not. The room and hallway smell like rotten basement. Service is sucks. I ask for tissue box and they end up giving me toilet paper. I'm here cuz my truck break down and I need a place to stay. My company is paying for it so I'm not complaining about the price. I'm pretty sure thet price is fair, but I'm pretty sure there are better options out there. horrible staff rude and dishonest, gross hotel, full of bed bugs and cockroaches. they made plans for my family to enjoy a day of swimming after we won them from a cancer patients spaghetti dinner raffle. the first time we went were denied, spoke to manager scheduled everything went to go back and was denied again. called the next day and they said they can't allow it. have gotten a room previously and there were bedbugs and cockroaches all over the place it smelled bad the linens were soiled and the bathroom was disgusting. read more

Filthy chair, two broken entry doors, one of which they duct taped open because the key reader is broken and hanging, and the 2nd one is labeled as out only and showing a $100 fine if you prop it open (even to bring your luggage in) for "safety" reasons (regardless that the other door is taped open). The light fixtures inside the door to the room doesn't work....did I mention it is the exact same one we reported 4 months ago. Seriously, we won't be back! I was very happy with this hotel for several reasons. It has a great location in relation to Tecumseh, Toledo, Ann Arbor, and Cabelas. It also is one of the only hotels in the area that is dog friendly so that was fantastic for us but that might be a reason for you not to stay here as well. The staff was friendly enough, and anytime we needed anything such as a trash bag and more towels they were right on top of it. The morning breakfast was basic. The small indoor pool was a nice place for my nephews to play,and its also are open for adults only from 10 to midnight. The walls are a little thin, so we did hear some hallway noise. If you are a light sleeper bring earplugs or a white noise machine.If I ever need to stay in the area again I would definitely come back. read more

We chose this location because it was one of the only pet friendly hotels in the area. The pet fee is $10 extra a night per room, not per pet (well worth it and not as much as the other pet friendly hotel in the area). The room was adequately furnished. The bed was fine (nothing great, nothing too bad)...although the pillows were small. We opted for a room with a jacuzzi tub and it was worth it. A couple of tips: (1) get a room on the second floor, we could hear EVERY step from the people above and it sounded like they were running laps! (2) DO NOT STAY in room 103 if you want to sleep late. In the morning, the staff is preparing breakfast and what not and they are LOUD (doors banging, things slamming); the headboard literally shakes when they are doing what they are doing. All in all our stay was good and I would absolutely stay here again...just on the second floor. read more

The worst hotel experience I've ever had! Staff was unbelievably rude. The manager was even worse. The only breakfast available was their breakfast sandwichs which had mold in it ( make sure you look before you eat it ). No fruit , muffins, juice ect like they "offer". The pool is dirty and cold. Doesn't look like much when you pull up, but I was blown away when I entered the lobby, it smelled so clean and was so pretty with the holiday Tree!! The pool was open until 10 pm and was so inviting, the front desk lady was wonderful she explained breakfast was from 6 am till 9am during the week, and from 6 am to 10 am on sat and Sunday, she explained all the items I could choose from, asked me if I needed extra Towels, or anything to make my stay comfortable. I had stopped in on a whim due to snow and it was getting dark and I am so VERY glad I did, my room is clean and it smelled wonderful, the furniture needs an update but I can over look that. While staying here we had multiple problems... 1st room having unidentifiable liquids on the floor plus smelling like fresh smoked weed, that room has two fives year olds staying the night in it complaining how strong and gross it smells which no one would want their child to go through that so why not take care of it it as a worker- this was brought up to the worker and her response was "this is just the area" HORRIBLE ANSWER!! 2nd room we ended up completely locked out of our room for multiple hours, with trying the master keys and multiple different keys for the room and a machine that was supposed to work but ended up not working until another coworker came in. After being transferred to a new room we found a dirty crusty rag, that had clearly been used. 3rd room had trash like an empty fireball liquor bottle plus trash and a broken toy under the comfy chair, white stains all over the computer chair at the table, and a pen in the bathroom room. Multiple children under the age of 8 and the youngest being almost 1 are in the 3rd room so if we wouldn't have found all of these things one of them would have. The worker was trying her best but there was too many of us unhappy and other people not in our party also complaining of issues we were also going through. read more

It's in a convenient location very close to the highway, a gas station, and multiple places to eat. The staff worked at being friendly, helpful, and cooperative. The important areas, our beds, the breakfast area, and the pool, were all clean. Unfortunately, there were multiple maintenance issues. First off, the door didn't lock unless we were inside to bolt and latch it! We told the front desk but nothing was done. Very disconcerting. Also the phone in the room didn't work, the sink didn't drain properly, we couldn't stop the tub from draining for the kids bath, and the chairs in the room were filthy. It's a cheap, fun little place for the family. Nothing fancy, but it needs some work for sure. read more

2.5 stars but will round up. Booked 2 rooms on Hotwire on our way to central MI. Based on the reviews I saw on TripAdvisor I was hoping for something a little more modern. Front desk attendant was pleasant enough for a 2:30AM arrival (long night of travel). Room was clean, as was the bathroom. No thermostat in the room, just an AC unit near the window. It worked well enough, but looked old, like it hadn't been cleaned recently. Sink and mirror are outside of the bathroom - which was odd and at the same time convenient (esp sharing a room). A couple of the lamps looked a little worn. Breakfast spread was a little underwhelming - powdered egg mix, biscuits, gravy, oatmeal, yogurt, waffles, bagels. Eggs were a bit watery - could have just been that day's preparation. Would have liked to see some sort of protein, but can't complain as it was free. Thankfully there are a few fast food joints located in a couple minutes' drive from the hotel. No ice machines on the second floor. I don't think I would do a multi-night stay here, but for someone just passing through, it's pretty run-of-the mill for the price range. read more

Decent especially foe the price! Im not going to lie the bathroom sketched me out it seemed creepy and outdated i seriously found myself checking for cameras in the vents (i didn't find any lol) With that being said my family and i enjoyed the pool as we had it all to ourselves. The room was clean and comfortable. The only issue I had besides the creepy bathroom was the lack of soundproofing. Ot wasn't outrageous but it want fantastic either. Im a super light sleeper so every noise interrupted my sleep. If you are a good sleeper it shouldn't be a problem. I had read a review about bed bugs after my stay and it freaked me out for weeks but happy to report that at least in the room I stayed in there were no extra guests! read more

We, regrettably, stayed here in September with our entire family for a family reunion nearby. The "cleaning " staff made accusations AFTER we left, stating that we smoked in our room and it smelled of pot. An additional fee of $100 was charged to my credit card WITHOUT notification or a proper investigation. I attempted to appeal this and was denied. I have stayed at this hotel with my family for over 20 years and have watched it gradually decline, however, this last interaction with the hotel has been my last. In addition to this, the overall hotel was filthy, I even found a large amount fingernail clippings around the beds. I am appalled at the accusations without evidence and that I was not given the opportunity to defend myself. I will not only NEVER stay here, I will NEVER stay at a Quality Inn ever again. read more

While we were really here just to sleep after a long drive for a hockey playoff game, we were very happy with the hotel. It was very clean, the staff was super helpful and I loved the fact that the had an attendant in the breakfast area to make sure that the guests were well taken care of. We returned to our room with blood stained sheets and the comforters lying on the floor waiting for us to make the bed. So my husband booked a room at this "Quality" Inn last minute to go visit his kids. I put quality in quotation marks because it was anything but! After laying down around midnight, guess what was found? A giant BED BUG. Mind you, this is AFTER unpacking, laying down and getting ready to sleep. So, my husband captures it in a cup and goes to the front desk to complain. The response is "well, we bombed all the rooms with a stronger chemical there shouldn't be any bed bugs." So my husband shows him the damn thing and clearly the front desk agent was disgusted. But all they could do was offer a room across the hallway from the current room. I'm sorry, but if the first room had bugs in it after being sprayed for bed bugs, I'm pretty positive the room RIGHT ACROSS THE HALLWAY WILL HAVE THEM TOO. And the way the front desk said this, I get the impression that they have had bed bugs for a while and tried to treat for them, failed, and had to try something stronger. And obviously failed again. The correct thing to do would have been to refund our money AND offer to pay for us to stay at a different hotel that doesn't have bed bugs. I have a compromised immune system due to chemo. If these bugs come back home, my health and wellness will be in great jeopardy. Heaven help Quality Inn, because if I get sick, I promise I will be coming back with a lawsuit!!!!!! read more

The king suite the Quality Inn has available is a nice room with a hot tub . It is also fairly priced for that type of suite. The hot breakfast is very good as well. The only downsides were that the room had some cleanliness and maintenance issues. Cobb webs everywhere, drink and food splattering on walls, stains all over lamp shades and bed spreads. We also had to clean out the hot tub before we could use it and the fridge hardly worked. If those issues were addressed the Quailty Inn would be a near perfect hotel expierence. read more

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! If your looking for clean rooms, nice staff, polite staff, and a hotel that is maintained then look for another one. The staff is appalling. The housekeepers do a terrible job cleaning and don't report obvious things in the rooms that need fixing such as the tubs that do not hold water, stains on mattresses and carpeting, walls are all marked up that a magic eraser would easily clean up. The housekeepers take forever to clean a room and when they are done you wonder why was even done. The front desk employees are a joke, the manager Rob makes inappropriate remarks to paying costumers and make you feel like a burden because you choose to stay here. The doors to enter the building hardly ever work and you end up having to try them all and then you have to go through the front door and nothing is being done to fix it. Someone needs to take out the trash and get a new staff. Hopefully someone reads this and does something about it. Put your money into one of the other hotels where you will have cleaner rooms and better service from staff!!!!!!! read more

Apon getting our room I proceeded to checking the beds because I am a little OCD... At first I noticed that the mattresses had full zipper covers, the first bed I didn't see anything but after pulling back the sheets and such of the 2nd bed I found 2 bed bugs. I headed back to the front to check out immediately and told the girl of the findings and she just said ok... she wasn't even surprised... we left and the next day I noticed a hold on my account for over $200 when the room was only $89. Staff didn't want to be there. No elevator. Rooms were not clean. Bathrooms had paint sprayed all over door,floor etc and not clean. No bed bugs but comforters covered with stains. Breakfast was terrible, waffle mix was sour tasting. Would not recommend. read more
