He…read morewas extremely professional, organized and had a personality that was so refreshing to find. We spent many hours discussing the list of what I wanted and Ken came up with the perfect layout . He NEVER became impatient with me when I called with the many questions I had in between. His recommendation of a contractor and referrals for the countertops was the icing on the cake. All displayed the same "attention to detail" as Ken did. Ken continued to stay in touch with us through the many months, as the job took a while to complete. We added a bathroom remodel and shelving during the process and again, Ken did not disappoint with his recommendations. He only recommends quality cabinetry. Ken has now closed his "storefront" on Grant Avenue but is available for business without an interruption to the process he so carefully has laid out. His office assistant Mary (his wife) was such a delight to work with as well. Both were very responsive when the need arose. I would be happy to answer any questions you may have on the quality of work Ken and his team provided. I hope you will consider Ken when thinking of your remodel.

Tile selection can be stressful because it is so important to the outcome of your final project…read more Michelle was an excellent partner in selecting the tile for our kitchen and bathroom remodel. I know what I like, but I'm not a design expert and it can be hard to select tiles from samples to finish out an important space in your home. Michelle was exceptionally patient with me and offered great selections until we landed on something that I ended up being thrilled with. You won't go wrong working with her. We get so many compliments on the kitchen floor - which is tile too! Thank you, Michelle!

I was with two other designers who did a layout of my existing kitchen on a computer, with ME telling THEM what to move around and that was it. They would point me toward the tiles and cabinets and tell me to pick it out. I felt helpless. How awesome it was to find Twenty Five Company (beautiful showroom) and designer Haley Kenney who (a) reworked my tiny kitchen and gave me more storage than I ever dreamed possible; and (b) really listened to me! When I would stray off course, she would remind me of what I told her I wanted, all while staying on budget. She even invited me out to watch the countertop fabricators set the templates on top of my slab - all while Haley was measuring and having them turn the template this way and that way. She is definitely doing what she was born to do and now I have the prettiest and most functional kitchen in town! Thank you Twenty Five Company!

I've worked with Kevin Cordova from KC Kitchen & Bath on two projects in my home, and both…read moreexperiences were nothing short of fantastic. The first project was a full kitchen remodel in Summer 2024. From the start, Kevin stood out from other contractors I interviewed--he was engaged, full of ideas, and truly took the time to understand my vision. He wanted to see my flooring and cabinetry choices, offered creative suggestions of his own, and was incredibly proactive in making the space as functional and beautiful as possible. Throughout the remodel, he managed to work efficiently around my family of four in our small home, which was no easy task, but he did it with patience and professionalism. Whenever we encountered an issue, he communicated clearly, and we worked together to find creative solutions. The final result was absolutely stunning! Because of that great experience, I hired Kevin again recently for a custom project--creating a hidden storage space under our stairs. This required a lot of creative carpentry, and he was just as collaborative as before, going back and forth with me on pictures and ideas to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. The craftsmanship is top-notch, and the final product is seamless and beautifully done. One thing that really sets Kevin apart, aside from his skill and creativity, is how respectful and courteous he is. He's easy to communicate with, always professional, and genuinely cares about his work. His entire team reflects the same level of professionalism--they were all polite, reliable, and respectful of my home throughout both projects. If you're looking for a contractor who is talented, thoughtful, and a true pleasure to work with, I cannot recommend Kevin Cordova and KC Kitchen & Bath enough. He's an absolute gem!

I had 3 other contractors come in to give a quote, but I chose Kevin because not only was he competitively priced, but he also had the right balance of suggesting great ideas and also working with my very specific requests/limitations. He gave us several suggestions that we decided to incorporate including replacing our defunct 80s trash compactor to a sleek beverage fridge. He remembered all my nuanced requests. And anytime anything needed an update or an issue arose he was always very thorough with what our options were and he acted promptly. He also accommodated add ons to our project. He was very comfortable, approachable and professional to work with. His workers were working a full days work everyday including weekends and he would come by everyday to do the hands on work too. His connections like his countertop fabricators and his team were also a great resource. This is the first time we have hired a contractor and we are so happy that we now have a trusted contractor for our future projects. I plan to post before and after pictures shortly.

The 2024 remodel of my San Rafael home was the largest home construction project I have attempted,…read moreand this is my 4th house. I am a certified Project Manager and licensed Mechanical Engineer, so I know what good project execution looks like. MKC is the best residential contractor I have worked with in my 30 years of home ownership. MKC employs a process with heavy emphasis on planning the work up front followed by quality execution by the craftsmen. Scott (owner of MKC) honestly strives to land each project with the highest quality work done at a reasonable price. My project was mainly to remodel a kitchen and master bathroom. Additionally, we removed two walls (one load bearing), replaced 1/2 the house windows, addressed two different legacy structural issues, replaced fireplace, all interior doors, all baseboard and trim, all flooring and about a dozen other upgrades (add ceiling fans, add additional door, replace garage door header, toilet in 2nd bath, etc.). Basically, I received a new house. The work was completed in a little over 4 months as planned adding time for the new scope and structural issues. The cost was as expected. MKC costs were nearly exact to expected. Material costs were higher than planned due to our selection of materials vs assumed. The quality of the work was outstanding whether it was by MKC employees or subcontractors. I highly recommend the MKC team for a kitchen or major home remodel.

Noy was my project manager and was a blessing. He held my hand thru the entire process and communicated everything clearly. Finished product is beautiful, but the process and project management is not as advertised…read more We met with 5 different contractors to get bids for our small bathroom remodel project. Green Bay Remodeling was the highest bid by 20-50%. We selected Green Bay because they pitched themselves as a turnkey solution and I would simply sit back and just make payments. In reality I needed to be involved constantly to keep this project on track. A few examples: - Sourcing: In the sales meeting, we were told that materials would be sourced by them from their "catalog" and shipped from "their warehouse". I liked the simplicity of that, but in reality, they order things from online vendors like Wayfair and Home Depot and shipped directly to my home. This turned my garage space into their warehouse for nearly 2 months. Also, it is just bad business to ship heavy, breakable things - for example, we had 2 toilets delivered to our home in giant packages - both of which were broken on arrival. (there's a hardware store less than a mile from my home that has toilets in stock) - Communication: We were promised daily updates, this did happen once the construction work started because they often wanted a payment, but we went for long times not hearing during planning process. - Timeline was set by PM as 4 weeks from sign date for permits and planning (closer to 8 weeks due to absences and avoidable omissions on permit application) and 4 weeks for construction (that was met with multiple issues and creative workarounds deployed). - Presence: We understood the PM would be present on the site and would be the main point of contact, but he was missing at key times - including during an inspection with the city permitting department - Attention to detail: Materials were sourced late or incorrectly (a 60 inch vanity ordered rather than 72inch) and broken materials were not identified immediately. We made the construction timeline but only with some creative solutions and lots of legwork. Overall, the guys at GBR are nice, charming people and the finished product looks good. But I give that credit to the amazing sub-contractor who completed the entire project. He covered for their issues and went out of his way to solve problems so that the finished product looked amazing and was finished on time. I would give this person a 5 star review, but I would not engage GBR in the future as this does not reflect value for money.
