    Countertop in rack.

    Disappointed! I have attached pictures of the remnant that we saw and chose on the lot and the picture of the actual countertop that was installed. I would venture to say that no one would want this defect/vein in plain sight on their new countertop. Before placing our order with this company for the first time, we took pictures, visited the site four times and asked questions. At no time, was it ever offered to us that the remnant could be taken out of the racks for us to see in its entirety. When placing our order, we specifically mentioned that we wanted it as consistent as possible in design. There are some gentle variations in the stone, and we would be fine with that. We understand the nature of the granite material. I am not sure what else we could have done other than crawling in the racks under the heavy pieces of granite. Clearly that would not be advisable. Otherwise, there would be no way to have seen this defect. In our before pictures, it is not visible. Installation was scheduled on 11/23/22 (the day before Thanksgiving) which we shouldn't have agreed to. Installers showed up with stone and as they were bringing it in, I could see this defect. I questioned them. They called the office and we were told we had no options. We were flustered and had been waiting for this date for a bit so we allowed it to be installed. In hindsight, that was a mistake. I was hoping that I could learn to like the countertop with this defect but it just sticks out and draws your eye. It is darker, different, going in the opposite direction of any other veins/variations. Reached out via email an hour or so after installation. Received call back on 11/28/22. I stated I wanted to communicate via email so that I would have written record of any communication. Exchanged multiples emails with Stephanie Vladimirov. I was told that this company doesn't consider this a defect. I was told that we should have been able to see this. I was told that they could have taken the remnant out of the stacks so that we could see it. I was told there is nothing they could do. It was stated they could remove and replace but with all new costs. At no point, did this company mention that they could have been done anything differently. They stated that they thought we would be okay with this defect (they call it a vein) since we hadn't mentioned it. The reality is that we didn't mention it because we didn't see it. All of this could have been avoided if they had simply reached out to us and communicated with us once they noticed this defect and before it was cut. I understand it is a natural stone. It has variations in pattern and that would have been fine. This is something different. I looked through this company's website/reviews and many others and did not see any that had such a vein/defect. It is not pleasing at all. There were some other communication issues during this process but this was the biggest issue we had. Very disappointed. We had decided to give this company a try as it was close to where we live. I'm not sure what we could have done differently. We have worked hard on renovating our bathroom and now we have a countertop with this ugly, displeasing line going across it. Our only option will be to rip it out and put a different one in. If we ever decided to sell our house, a buyer would for sure not like this countertop. I tried to communicate and work with this company calmly to resolve but was only met with resistance. This was most likely a very small job in scope for this company. If they had offered any type of compromise or worked with us, I'm sure it could have been fixed. Yet that was not that case. I exchanged several emails to discuss. To future customers, look at the pictures of the before and after of the stone. Make your own decision but be very careful. **Please note that owner response to my review was that this defect is simply a "variation with shading and veining" and that "they don't replace countertops for customers who simply do not like the countertop they chose" and "that they could have pulled remnant out if we had asked". This is not a case of us simply not liking the countertop. This is not just a shading or veining variation. It is a defect in the stone pattern and no one would want to see this on their countertop. Clearly from our before pictures, we did not see it and they did not offer to show us the entire remnant. When they saw it, they could have simply reached out to us and not assumed anything and problem would have been avoided. At no point in my communications with this company after installation have they ever mentioned that they could have done anything differently. That is my biggest frustration and disappointment. If you are reading this review, please make your own decision but I would be very cautious.**

    Quality Granite completely updated my kitchen and bathroom. The new cabinets were simple, clean & exactly what I envisioned, the oversized Quartz breakfast bar was stunning. Not long after the remodel I listed my condo for sale and feedback from every showing mentioned how much they loved the kitchen. I'm confident my decision to use Quality Granite was a big reason my home sold in under one week for over asking price. I will continue referring QG and return again for my new home.     I used this company for my kitchen design. The final product was not worth the price I paid for…read moredesign, cupboards and counters. Lisa's designs did not reveal flaws that developed during installation. We experienced mis measurements that resulted in a 5 week delay. Hardware was ordered incorrectly which required me to find it myself on Amazon in order to keep the carpenter on schedule (the designer was on vacation for the second time during my install). One cabinet was delivered with the wrong measurement and instead of immediately fixing it, the designer suggested to the carpenter to just use a filler which would have created a less than appealing look. My custom designed coffee station sits lower than the rest of the counter (which was not reflected in the design) and required a separate piece of Cambria which honestly ruins the flow of the kitchen and looks awkward and cheap. Two of the cupboards had paint that easily chipped and the designer ignored this flaw not contacting candlelight for me. In conclusion, I cane to the realization that my 50k kitchen was on the bottom of the priority list because I chose to use my own contractors and didn't use the ones suggested by 3W- with double the price tag. I would never use this company again. I felt rushed to decide, unimportant to the designer, and realized my kitchen design on paper had flaws that a designer should have fixed since this was her profession. Hopefully her vacations and house flips she was doing herself were worth it.

So sorry that she went on to another company to design exclusively. I have since used Lisa at 3 Design for assistance in the accessories for my master bath and my guest bedroom. Since she had to work around what was already in the rooms and she had to work with my very detailed desires she too was fantastic and very patient. I found that I needed help to expose me to new and different ideas and ways to decorate so I definitely am a fan and will use 3W Design again.

Since then I have purchased a second Kirby. The service has been exceptional and the staff is the friendliest ever. All repairs are confirmed with the customer before the work is done. Additionally, Kirby of Concord provides a selection of perfectly good used replacement parts to help keep costs down. Once, just before the holidays, a part needed to be ordered for my Kirby. Without hesitation, I was given a loaner vacuum to use until it was repaired! It's the great friendly customer service that keeps me coming back.
