The women working there are bored and contemptuous. We bought a slab, which we picked after looking at slabs in 3 different states and we found the perfect one here. I even would come back and look at it to admire it in the 2 months it took for the cabinets to come in. We did not get our cabinets there. We wanted to initially but they just seemed asleep at the wheel and like they didn't care whether we went with them or not and didn't help us to make decisions out of indifference. But whatever. We loved the marble slab and they would fabricate it, install it, etc., so fine. When I went to check out the slab a few days before they were to come--we went to see how they had laid out the template on the **2 slabs** we had picked and.......there was only one--and it was NOT the same slab we had picked and had been waiting all this time for. A worker confessed they had given the slabs to someone else and swapped out the slabs for a different lot. This lot, and the slots were darker and had lots of brown in it, which we did NOT want and we intentionally--as I said--had selected the slabs we wanted for the exact color of THOSE slabs. We had selected all the colors of the kitchen based on what we had selected. We picked the cabinets based on it, the backsplash, the wall color, the shelving, the flooring. The slab we wanted was shimmering luminescent sparkling white with streaks of green and blue-grey. This slab was opaque and none of the green or blue. The disdainful women sneered and said it was the exact slab/lot we had bought. I had photos of the original slab and showed them it was different. They lied to our faces and said with a shrug "Don't know what to tell you. You can pick something else but it'll be 12 weeks before we'd be able to schedule. " My Mom is 95 years old--back then she was 92--literally days before Thanksgiving, and we could not have plywood countertops for Thanksgiving and for 3 months subsequently. Plus, there was no comparable stone in their yard to what we had selected, so even if we decided to wait....they had no stone like the one we DID pick out. I started writing this review 3 years ago when this all happened and was so heartbroken I couldn't finish. Three years later....it still is awful and a massive disappointment. My Mom was going for her dream kitchen this late in life, and these ugly white and brown slabs that were NOT the slabs we picked have not improved. I wonder to this day who came along with a wad of money and convinced "Quality" Granite to give them OUR slab. Incredibly sad and kind of sickening. I am embarrassed when people pretend to like the countertops because they're not the magical sparkling counters my Mom fell in love with. We highly valued our experience and would recommend them and use them again! If we realized the project could be as affordable as it was, we would've done it years ago. We evaluated 7 different companies. Quality Granite (Peter & Harley) gave us a positive, consultative experience in the store, which really set a standard for the balance of our decision-making process. There is also an excellent selection of in-stock granite that you can look at in-person. Reviews and BBB ratings are solid and I appreciated how people detailed the way they handled problems that arose. Vs. Competition: Prices were on the higher side of the middle of our quotes, but we heavily discounted our experience with the others. In some cases, we were ignored in the showroom, quotes took over a week and still had bad information, people weren't knowledgeable, horrible reviews and bad reports of problem handling. We were between Quality and Bob's Granite but preferred Quality so asked them to review the quote. They were able to bring the price down some due to the size of the job and stock of the product we wanted. While we may have still gone with Quality in the long-run, this made it far easier for us to make a quick decision. We booked immediately, put a down payment and Chris was out to measure the following day. Counter tops were installed a few days after that! The installers work directly for Quality and are not outsourced (This was important to us). They were very consultative, friendly and extremely professional. We paid for them to remove the existing counter tops and haul it away. They were highly knowledgeable and gave us some recommendations to strengthen the support for the bar area. They did a very nice job of install overall and took our payment. Our only problem was that we had a small scratch that I noticed after they left and that the hole cut for the electrical box was slightly too small. I noted this immediately and had a response back saying they would take care of it. It did take a few weeks for this to get done due to scheduling (on both our parts), with maybe a little more follow up on my part than theirs. However; Chris (the owner) came, fixed the scratch and fixed the hole and made sure we were extremely satisfied before he left and in the end, that's all we cared about. He even arrived prepared to replace the piece, if necessary. Overall, we feel like valued customers and we worked with a transparent, company with high integrity and "Quality" is the perfect name for their business! It looks gorgeous and we keep staring at it like it's not really ours...but it is!! read more

Disappointed! I have attached pictures of the remnant that we saw and chose on the lot and the picture of the actual countertop that was installed. I would venture to say that no one would want this defect/vein in plain sight on their new countertop. Before placing our order with this company for the first time, we took pictures, visited the site four times and asked questions. At no time, was it ever offered to us that the remnant could be taken out of the racks for us to see in its entirety. When placing our order, we specifically mentioned that we wanted it as consistent as possible in design. There are some gentle variations in the stone, and we would be fine with that. We understand the nature of the granite material. I am not sure what else we could have done other than crawling in the racks under the heavy pieces of granite. Clearly that would not be advisable. Otherwise, there would be no way to have seen this defect. In our before pictures, it is not visible. Installation was scheduled on 11/23/22 (the day before Thanksgiving) which we shouldn't have agreed to. Installers showed up with stone and as they were bringing it in, I could see this defect. I questioned them. They called the office and we were told we had no options. We were flustered and had been waiting for this date for a bit so we allowed it to be installed. In hindsight, that was a mistake. I was hoping that I could learn to like the countertop with this defect but it just sticks out and draws your eye. It is darker, different, going in the opposite direction of any other veins/variations. Reached out via email an hour or so after installation. Received call back on 11/28/22. I stated I wanted to communicate via email so that I would have written record of any communication. Exchanged multiples emails with Stephanie Vladimirov. I was told that this company doesn't consider this a defect. I was told that we should have been able to see this. I was told that they could have taken the remnant out of the stacks so that we could see it. I was told there is nothing they could do. It was stated they could remove and replace but with all new costs. At no point, did this company mention that they could have been done anything differently. They stated that they thought we would be okay with this defect (they call it a vein) since we hadn't mentioned it. The reality is that we didn't mention it because we didn't see it. All of this could have been avoided if they had simply reached out to us and communicated with us once they noticed this defect and before it was cut. I understand it is a natural stone. It has variations in pattern and that would have been fine. This is something different. I looked through this company's website/reviews and many others and did not see any that had such a vein/defect. It is not pleasing at all. There were some other communication issues during this process but this was the biggest issue we had. Very disappointed. We had decided to give this company a try as it was close to where we live. I'm not sure what we could have done differently. We have worked hard on renovating our bathroom and now we have a countertop with this ugly, displeasing line going across it. Our only option will be to rip it out and put a different one in. If we ever decided to sell our house, a buyer would for sure not like this countertop. I tried to communicate and work with this company calmly to resolve but was only met with resistance. This was most likely a very small job in scope for this company. If they had offered any type of compromise or worked with us, I'm sure it could have been fixed. Yet that was not that case. I exchanged several emails to discuss. To future customers, look at the pictures of the before and after of the stone. Make your own decision but be very careful. **Please note that owner response to my review was that this defect is simply a "variation with shading and veining" and that "they don't replace countertops for customers who simply do not like the countertop they chose" and "that they could have pulled remnant out if we had asked". This is not a case of us simply not liking the countertop. This is not just a shading or veining variation. It is a defect in the stone pattern and no one would want to see this on their countertop. Clearly from our before pictures, we did not see it and they did not offer to show us the entire remnant. When they saw it, they could have simply reached out to us and not assumed anything and problem would have been avoided. At no point in my communications with this company after installation have they ever mentioned that they could have done anything differently. That is my biggest frustration and disappointment. If you are reading this review, please make your own decision but I would be very cautious.** read more

Getting new granite countertops from Quality granite as part of my kitchen remodel was an A++ experience start to finish. Initially started looking on a Sunday which resulted looking at another granite place, one of the very few open, and was not impressed with the service, knowledge, or selection. The next weekend I was about to drive down to one of the wholesalers to look at stones when I decided to do a quick search and saw Quality Granite was right around the corner and figured I'd give it a shot. Just driving up and seeing the selection of stones told me this was going to be a whole different experience. Peter did a great job with the initial sale, showing stones that matched what I was looking for, describing options, and answering questions. The templater did a great job suggesting some tweaks including adding a small overhang for stools to the peninsula which came out amazing! Peter was very thorough with the layout, putting in extra effort to consult with the templater and fabricator about some different options and moving things around to take a look at another stone in order to try to get the seams as perfect as possible. The installers were also excellent. They arrived on time and were courteous, careful with everything in my home, and meticulous on the install. When they saw that things didn't look quite right with the cutout for the cooktop vs the cabinet size, they went above and beyond immediately measuring and fixing the problem by modifying the cabinets (my existing cabinets, not from Quality) without hesitation. Beginning to end, it felt like everyone involved was treating this project like it was their own home. 100% would recommend for anyone looking for new countertops. read more

The choices of granite was extensive and the price was competitive. Measurements and installation went well. Happy with the results except that the seams are not secure and some liquid soaked into the granite just a few days after installation. It dried pretty well but we had to call twice to have someone come to reapply sealant. Two weeks after being told someone would come, still nothing. We ordered our granite from Peter at Quality Granite. It was ready ahead of time, was the BEST cut and prepped stone we have ever received and at a very inexpensive price!! Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, Justin and Zach delivered and installed the entire kitchen in less than an hour with the most professional install I have ever had with Granite or Marble!! There is 1 seam in the entire kitchen and I cant tell where it is due to their fabulous installation. She was very helpful, pleasant and patient with us. We walked through the slabs and picked one from their many choices on site. Jim came Tuesday to measure and create the template. Stopped by looking for a remnant. They had what we needed and were able to have it ready within our timeframe. Thought all was great but then found out that all remnants are cash only and sell for $175. What type of business deals in cash only, no credit card or check to hold it, cash only for deposit and sale? Entire transaction felt not legitimate! Didn't feel any better when cash for the deposit and final sale went straight into sales person's pocket. Will be looking for granite countertops for kitchen renovation and will be finding another granite dealer. read more

We recently had 4 granite counter tops installed in our kitchen. Our house is a very old New England house and almost nothing is level or square, which makes construction or remodeling of any kind very difficult & challenging. When Jamie, the pre-installer/templater came, he was very friendly and got right to work. He was very knowledgeable and answered every question I had. He was also very accommodating regarding the 'anomalies' that the old house presented to him. I was concerned because I knew that the cabinets were level but the length and width was not "true". I knew that the existing counter top's leading edge was 1/2" longer than the back edge. The 4 counter tops being installed were all non-rectangular and Jamie said that was no problem. Within minutes of talking to him I felt confident that the job was going to be completed correctly and without issue (whew!). I spent the day before the scheduled installation removing the old counter tops and then leveling them. When the installers came with the 4 pre-cut granite pieces I was amazed at what a perfect fit they were. Justin & Buddy, the 2 installers, were friendly and patient in answering any remaining questions or concerns that we had. Like Jamie, they were also very accomodating & efficient. They even went out of their way, without complaint, to return the next day to install a back-splash that we didn't decide we wanted until AFTER the counters were in! In short, they all did a great job & we are very pleased and happy with our beautiful new counter-tops! As far as turn around time & expediency, let me also add that my wife (who is admitedly incredibly picky), visited the Quality Granite Showroom on a Tuesday, and with guidance & a lot of patience from Peter in the office, picked out the slab she wanted on Thursday. The template was done the very next day on Friday and the installation was completed on the next Monday!
