He claimed he was capable of doing that work and we hired him in good faith. He made some egregious errors which caused flooding and water damage that was discovered in 2024. Uber our toilet the blocking was gone and the hole under our toilet was too big. He also never sealed the toilet in the floor so you could just wiggle it around in the bathroom floor! A professional contractor would never make these mistakes. Water leaked underneath our bathroom, kitchen, and dining room floors and they all had to be torn out. We had to pay for the repairs out of our own pocket so we are currently $30,000 in debt. We are still fighting with his insurance to pay for this! DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN.

Bad points about the job, he left shims sticking out from the countertops, which caused a space between the countertops and cabinets. I already bought thin cove molding to fill in that space once the shims were cut off. He kept telling me he would take care of it but never did. I oginally wanted small 4" X 4" tiles to be used as a backslash, but he talked me into getting bigger tiles. I don't what kind of caulking product he used but the tiles are now separating from the countertop, now I'm going have to hire someone to recaulk them. I was going to hire him for another job for painting a bedroom and to put flooring in a closet. He was telling me , I should buy new baseboards, my wood baseboards are in good condition but just needed a paint job. I wanted vinyl sheeting in a small closet off the bedroom because there is a water heater in that closet, which had carpet and was pulled up because of a water leak from the water heater. He told me he wouldn't put vinyl sheet flooring in that closet. He told me to buy vinyl plank which I did which was not cost effective for a small closet. When I told him I was buying my carpet from Home depot or Lowes, he told me so you are going to trust them to lay the carpet. He told me he could bring some carpet samples for me to look at which will be cheaper then Lowes or Home depot and that he would put the carpet in. He never bought me any carpet samples to look at. He tries to manipulate you into buying things that is not necessary and costs effective. New baseboards went back to the store and so did the vinyl plank that I bought. Bedroom and baseboards now painted, vinyl sheet used for the flooring in the small closet, new door built to my water heater closet and carpet installed by Lowes.

Lisa's designs did not reveal flaws that developed during installation. We experienced mis measurements that resulted in a 5 week delay. Hardware was ordered incorrectly which required me to find it myself on Amazon in order to keep the carpenter on schedule (the designer was on vacation for the second time during my install). One cabinet was delivered with the wrong measurement and instead of immediately fixing it, the designer suggested to the carpenter to just use a filler which would have created a less than appealing look. My custom designed coffee station sits lower than the rest of the counter (which was not reflected in the design) and required a separate piece of Cambria which honestly ruins the flow of the kitchen and looks awkward and cheap. Two of the cupboards had paint that easily chipped and the designer ignored this flaw not contacting candlelight for me. In conclusion, I cane to the realization that my 50k kitchen was on the bottom of the priority list because I chose to use my own contractors and didn't use the ones suggested by 3W- with double the price tag. I would never use this company again. I felt rushed to decide, unimportant to the designer, and realized my kitchen design on paper had flaws that a designer should have fixed since this was her profession. Hopefully her vacations and house flips she was doing herself were worth it.

So sorry that she went on to another company to design exclusively. I have since used Lisa at 3 Design for assistance in the accessories for my master bath and my guest bedroom. Since she had to work around what was already in the rooms and she had to work with my very detailed desires she too was fantastic and very patient. I found that I needed help to expose me to new and different ideas and ways to decorate so I definitely am a fan and will use 3W Design again.

Chris was able to come in on relatively short notice, and get to work. It is not just the promptness that led to our satisfaction, and being able to work with us on a time crunch (although this alone would have been wonderful!), but the quality of the work. Our new kitchen looks truly amazing. He did not just install everything, but went above and beyond to make sure it was done perfect. He did all walls, cabinet install, floors, finish work, and more. Even the counter installers (a different company) commented at how great his work was, with everything perfectly level so they didnt have to do any addition work. The quality was amazing, the price was great, and the work was done quick, and without issue. He got all the proper building permits, had all the correct inspections, and did everything by the book. They work pretty fast and have a good eye for detail. They offered all the necessary skills or brought in the necessary skilled labor to get all the facets of the job done they way I wanted it. I haven't had a lot of experience with general contracting but I would recommend Redlink for a job done they way you want it.
