About two years ago, a piece of our flooring broke. Since then, my husband and I have tried to contact Sean at least 20 times to arrange a repair. We were never expecting the repair to be free and were more than willing to pay for the work. We simply wanted a response and a plan to get the issue resolved. At times, Sean would respond, but there was never any consistent follow-through or a plan to fix the problem. After two years of trying to get this resolved, we finally found the replacement piece ourselves through a local flooring distributor. It is incredibly frustrating to have to chase a company repeatedly for two years over an issue that we were willing to pay to have fixed. The lack of communication and follow-through was unacceptable. Based on our experience, I would not recommend Diversified Flooring. Good customer service should not end once the installation is complete.

Ordering flooring online, via any website, is a challenging and difficult task for the diy'r. The online tools on the LL website make it easy to calculate small or large projects, based on what type of flooring you would like for your project. We initially purchased a product that we thought would be the best for a large area, it was delivered quickly and professionally (with calls before, during and after to make sure everything was okay with the product and delivery) and had time to acclimate to the room before we began. With a sound, dry subfloor and liner, we began by measuring the area and laying out the flooring. After opening a number of boxes and laying out the flooring did we determine that it was not a good fit for a large room. The product we chose was a lux vinyl and although textured nicely, was thin- it cracked easily and did not fit together very well, small differences in the subfloor (even with a padded liner) only exaggerated the subtle floor differences, it moved and would not lay well. We called the store immediately and discussed the options for the room. We opted to have one of their contract flooring installers come out to assess the flooring choice and room, to see if he could re-do the job, or recommend a "best fit" for the space and room use. After meeting with the flooring installer (another quick appointment, and professional evaulation), it was determined that a harder, more durable surface would be appropriate for the room. We were able to return the unopened boxes of the lux vinyl (I'm not knocking the product, only recommending that a consumer use this product for smaller areas, it's really beautiful!). Working with the team at Somersworth, NH LL we were able to purchase a solid Red Oak finished hardwood and secure the talents of the installer who came out to assess the prior project we attempted. The delivery of the new flooring was quick and we had time to acclimate the new flooring to the area (we were contacted before and after delivery), and worked with the installer to make sure he had access, and ample access to electric for tools, good lighting, etc. The job was completed within a week's time-it was professionally installed, taking time to cut for door jams and trim, baseboard heaters, corners and curves...the installer kept his work area (the room) spotless and cleaned up every day before departing, it was a pleasure to work with him. I can only highly recommend LL flooring for your next choice in quality flooring-they have many types of flooring and a staff that can help you choose the best flooring the your needs, they seem dedicated to helping you through your project, with recommendations (not overselling) the items that will help complete your project beautifully and professionally.
