He responded right away, gave a good estimate and we had him do the remodel. Work was done in the time he estimated and for the price he quoted. Quality of the work was excellent and he was able to handle all the little (and big) issues that one encounters in an old house. Very satisfied with all his work and hope to get him to do more this year.

My wife and I just moved into a home in Rochester, NH. Although the home was only twenty years old…read moreit was suffering from years of neglect and needed a lot of work. George started working on various interior projects a week after we moved in. He worked a solid two weeks. He started off by doing upgrades and repairs to our three bathrooms. He then replaced ugly carpeting on two sets of stairs and replaced hardwood stairs. This included staining and and putting two coats of polyurethane on the stairs. What was once a major eyesore is now beautiful, to say the least. George is very professional and does solid work. Even better than that his prices are fair. We like him so much that he is coming back in a few weeks to rebuild our deck and put in a patio. I would recommend George for almost every household fixup issue. I am so happy that he was recommended to us!

They did all the floors and tile in my new house. I like all the materials but Everything they…read moreinstalled has problems from: installing tile in the wrong direction, missing shower shelving, leaving hundreds of stubborn pencil marks all over the bathrooms, unsealed and underfilled grout shedding piles of sand daily, and severely cupped floor boards. Its been months since (after tons of initial denial) they promised to remedy these issues and yet not a single item has been addressed. I have to keep calling them and they keep apologizing and promising. They did send out an unmasked and unvaxed person once but he just confirmed the problems and left. I paid on time and in full but this company is struggling - I suggest that you stay away until they get a hold on their issues.

DO NOT HIRE RAFFAEL BARROS FROM PROFOUND MARBLE & GRANITE…read more Shame on us for hiring Raffael "Raffi" Barros as our General Contractor and for countertops for our kitchen renovation. He will take your money upfront and will not pay the subcontractors (My deepest apologies Mary W.) We purchased 2 slabs of quarts for our countertops. Raffi purchaed one slab and remnant pieces and pocketed the difference. That left us with 3 obvious seams and large gaps in between the cabinets and countertops. Asked him to repair a tile that has a gauge in it from him removing the spacers with a hammer and he said he will put epoxy on it. I told him that is not what I wanted, and he said it would be too much work to take out the tiles and remove the thin set. We worked with him hoping things would get better and to our disappointment it just continuously got worse. We finally let him go and are left with countertops that will need to be replaced, a tile floor that needs to be repaired and regrouted. We paid $28,000 for what we thought was going to be a high level of professionalism and quality and an eye for detail that was not even close to being met. He is a fraud and would stay clear of him. Small claims here we come!
