Forty five minutes discussing the project with owner Bill Bigler was determinate in selecting QCP; I read him as competent, experienced and trustworthy and that proved to be the case. Big job on 2 story house with some wood damage and significant mold. Mold was treated with a mildicide/bleach combo and mechanically cleaned prior to power washing. Then the eaves, facia and siding were scraped, sanded, feathered and spot primed prior to full coverage with Zinsser mold killing primer, and finally 2 finish coats of Dunn Edwards Evershield with a mildewcide additive. The job was overseen by Chuy, Bill Bigler's capable foreman and Bill stopped by most days to view and discuss the progress. The crew worked well together and included longtime QCP employees Rafa, Kalib, Joey, etc. The project lasted a total of 8 days and couldn't have turned out any better. read more

I have been meaning to leave a review for this company for quite some time, they painted our business and did an amazing job. Work was done in a timely basis and was reasonable, we were impressed. Illness prevented me (I was hospitalized for part of the time) from leaving a review after the contract was completed so we are catching up now and hope to use Quality Custom if we need any more painting done in the future. read more

I am happy I found Bill and QCP. After years of people showing up and then ghosting us (We call it the Ventura County way), we had Bill come out and give us an estimate. His prices were fair and we were able to get time on the books really easily. It was so easy to do business with QCP. And they showed up as expected! His team was professional and they worked quickly. They were easy to work with and I loved the camaraderie amongst them, their laughter as they painted was infectious. The work was beyond our expectations from this really talented team. I am a satisfied customer. I highly recommend QCP! read more

We couldn't be happier with our experience with Quality Custom Painting! Billy was fantastic to work with from start to finish. He was responsive, professional, and made the entire process easy. They did an amazing job painting the exterior of our home and also took care of some wood repairs that needed to be addressed before painting. The crew was friendly, showed up on time, worked hard, and did a beautiful job. They also did an excellent job cleaning everything up when they were finished, which we really appreciated. And as an added bonus, they left us touch-up paint for down the road. Our house looks fantastic, and we're so happy with the finished product. We would absolutely recommend Billy and Quality Custom Painting to anyone looking for a company that does great work and truly cares about their customers! read more

Bill from QCP is fantastic. I'm a detailed oriented person and Bill happily walked me through every one of my pain points and concerns with the paint project I had at my condo. He pointed out what he recommend I paint and also what was perfectly fine to go without. They did a fantastic job on the preparation and the paint and I will certainly be using them again. If you're in need of a painter who will stand behind his work and values his customers and his business, Bill/QCP is the way to go. read more

we were very happy with the experience we had with this crew and with Bill the owner of the group. He was very professional and followed through on everything he promised. The quality of the work was amazing. Everyone had a job to do and did so with obvious technical expertise. Very happy to show you their finished work if you so desire. read more

We hired QCP to replace the siding on parts of our home and handle the painting -- and they delivered on every front. The project came in on time and on budget, which alone sets them apart. What really stood out was Bill's willingness to work with our specific needs. We have a mid-century home with some unique requirements, and he didn't just accommodate those -- he leaned in, offered thoughtful advice, and made sure the finished result fit the character of the house. Bill checked in regularly throughout the project, was flexible with scheduling, and brought a level of professionalism and care that you don't always find. His team clearly takes pride in their work, and it shows. We'd work with Bill and QCP again without hesitation -- highly recommend. read more

We are absolutely thrilled with the work done by this incredible painting team! We hired them to paint a very large home with extremely tall ceilings, and from start to finish, they exceeded all expectations. Not only is their work of the highest quality, crisp lines, smooth finishes, flawless attention to detail, but they also made excellent paint recommendations that truly elevated the space. They clearly have a great eye for color and finish, and their suggestions made a huge difference in how the home looks and feels. What impressed us most, however, was their work ethic and flexibility. They showed up every single day, never taking a day off, and worked diligently to get the job done. We kept expanding the scope of the project (as one does!), and they handled every addition with grace, professionalism, and a can-do attitude. If you're looking for painters who are talented, dependable, detail-oriented, and a joy to work with, look no further. We couldn't be happier with the results and recommend them wholeheartedly! read more

We had Bill and the QCP crew do a remodel of our Ventura Midtown house including painting the entire outside, remodeling the bathroom, replacing floors, painting the inside, etc. It was a big investment for us, and we were EXTREMELY happy with how it went and how it turned out. Bill was so very professional and helpful during the whole process, which made all the difference. He would give us constant video updates about how things were going and check in with us on how we liked what was happening. Everyone he had come work on certain things in the house were always very skilled and professional. Besides that, Bill himself is a super knowledgeable and very friendly and kind person, and we are SO glad that we found him to work on our house to make it into our dream house. We can't recommend QCP enough! -Elvina and Merrill read more

Bill and Company just finished work on our home, doing the entire exterior. My wife and I can unequivocally say that this is one of the finest companies we've ever had the pleasure of doing business with. Bill is just so knowledgeable and easy going. Caleb and Joey, who spent the week with us working on the house, were just a total joy to have around the house. They were hard-working, always with a great attitude and totally heard what we had to say whenever we would discuss different aspects of the job. We have plans for some future work, and we will definitely be going back to do business with QCP when we are ready. read more

I am a local contractor and had a project that had a last minute change order. I had one week to finalize this job. I was very weary about who i hired to paint cabinetry. You have to have a special touch. I was transparent about the deadline with Bill. He made the exception with me, honored the deadline, and had the job complete with the utmost quality; near perfection. Bill an his company are now my go-to painting contractors. 10 out of 10 all around. To be honest, I could write a novel about their customer service. read more

I am thrilled with the work that Quality Custom Painting performed on my home. Bill is committed to providing a first-rate service. The job to repaint all my fascia and eves was scheduled quickly and completed in a couple days. I couldn't be happier. The crew cleaned up the site each night, which I really appreciate. They took care to mask off everything; there isn't a single drop of paint where it shouldn't be. The wood repair was performed well, and I'm certain the maintenance has given my house many more years of life. A five-star review isn't enough to express my recommendation. read more

Best experience I have had with a contractor. Bill was easy to deal with, was thorough and knowledgeable, and did a better job than expected. His employees were personable, did a great job, and came back multiple times to do touch ups, pressure wash, and to make sure that everything was completed to my liking and expectation. I would hire these guys for every job I have if I actually lived closer to where they are located as this work was done on an investment property. Glad I went with them and they beat CertaPro on their quote. read more

Bill and his crew did amazing work on painting the exterior trim of my house. Bill responded immediately when I contacted his company and gave me a quote the same day I called. The price for the job was reasonable. Bill was attentive, patient when I asked questions, and had excellent communication throughout the job. He provided me with guidance based on his years of experience when needed. They did not skimp corners and put care into the job. And his crew was prompt, hardworking, kind, and respectful. In my 40+ years in Commercial Property Management I only found 2 companies to which I could give a 5 Star review. One is in the Low Desert, the other retired to Florida. I recently needed some exterior painting on my home and I dreaded the task. I have a 2 story home with many clay tile hip roofs projecting from the first floor. Working on or over clay roofs was a hard no for many prospective painters. A few more came out to take a look, said they would get back to me with a proposal. Then they disappeared. I got a ridiculously high proposal from a popular larger company in the area that wanted to rent a boom lift to do some of the easier to reach 2nd floor trim. When I first got Bill on the phone, we both proceeded quickly to our qualifying questions. That was a refreshing indicator of a true professional. When I began qualifying Bill for his ability and willingness to work on or over clay tile roofs, he didn't flinch or equivocate - he moved right in to describing his 3 preferred solutions. He knew of what he spoke! I knew right then this was my guy! After a few more qualifying questions from Bill regarding ballpark price questions I invited him over to see the property. He arrived on time, had a very pleasant and professional demeanor. We walked the property, defined a scope and a schedule in the course of 15 minutes. Bill then left and promised a proposal via email in a few hours. The proposal arrived timely. It was complete, professional, and produced in Word, so it was EZ to read. All you would expect from a pro. One correction in the scope of the contract was required. Bill revised it quickly. We compared our availability and we were able to set a start date in a matter of days. Bill and his crew showed up exactly on time on the appointed day. He introduced me to his crew. The crew boss spoke excellent English, whch was a definite plus. The crew was properly out fitted with all of the tools and supplies. They finished the job in two days when it was scheduled for up to 4. All 3 of the crew were professional, experienced painters. The crew chief had been with Bill for 30 years. Uncommon for this trade. Their traffic on the roof was minimal. I heard no tile cracks while they were working, and I was listening for them. There were numerous items on our front porch and back patio. They either moved them out of the way, tor covered them in plastic to protect them. Nothing was painted that was not scheduled to be painted. All scheduled items received 2 full coats. Bill even did me a favor by painting around 36 sq ft of a stucco wall that I later found in need for no additional cost. In summary, I have found a true pro with years of experience, who I have already referred to my next door neighbor without hesitation. I am sure I will be using him again. Professional, personable, reliable, and straightforward. Highly recommended by someone who knows what to look for in a quality paint job! read more

Bill and his crew are amazing! We had them paint all the trim, gutters and front and back patio. They are very detailed and professional.
