This was after I sat there for 5 minutes and watched her wait on what turned out to be a group of four older people who sat next to me - AFTER I sat down. I hope, for her sake, her assessment pays off, as some server at another establishment will benefit from this. I ordered a beer an showed her my app and asked for a menu. I had come in for a burger but when not only did she not come back to me, but actually stood in the register area not doing anything at all, (for a time) I realized the owners of this establishment make so much money, they must tell their employees not to take orders. It's a pretty big cafe with big tables for a group of friends or large families. It seems to be a place for all age groups as I saw kids, teenagers, young adults, and adults. They had "How to Train your Dragon" the live action playing while I was there which is a bonus in my book. They also had some arcade games, board games, and lots of chess boards. Relaxed seating area and everything is a bit mismatched, but that just adds to the vibe. The bathrooms are STUNNING. I've never been to a cafe with a bathroom that fancy whoa. The service was very friendly, gave us recommendations based on the popular items ppl get. I got the velvet amber half decaf and my partner got the cinnamon toast latte. Both were great. They also serve Kava, Teas, mushroom gummies, and additives you can add to your drink. They also offer CBD consultation. Then a tower of sweets and savory sandwiches. The cucumber sandwich was so good. I LOVED the soup and scones. Everything is homemade, amazing! The service was so friendly and nice. Our server poured our teas and explained everything we were getting. It was very relaxed and no rush. It was a great experience and we definitely left full! I would love to come back here again soon. We were fortunate to have our group of five seated in a private room where we were served two types of tea, soup and scone, 4 savory bites, and 4 sweet bites. The pinwheels were my fave of the savory and the dubai chocolate croissant was prob my fave sweet, although every bite was really good! It's obvious that a lot of care and thought goes into the menu, service, and even decor here. One small note, it did warm up quite a bit in the room we were in so I would say dress light for the occasion.
