I tend to forget about Napa, not sure if it's because there's so many AutoZones and Advance auto…read moreparts stores around me. Well, it very could be the reason...But I am not going to forget anymore. Napa is a great store, besides auto parts. They carry parts and tools for marine, and farm equipment. Napa's inventory rivals the dealers when it comes to supplies and prices. The service is so much better, than the two other businesses I mentioned. They even offer curbside pickup, and online pickup is normally ready within 30 minutes. I will make it a point, to shop here more often.

We have older vehicles, and regularly do some repairs ourselves. (By "ourselves", I mean my handy…read moredad does some repairs for us.) There is a more convenient AutoZone location near our home, but we gave up on them after several chances, and several fails of them selling us the wrong part. Which brings me to Napa. For anyone who does their own car repair, you probably already know that Napa parts are typically more expensive than places like AutoZone. But you're paying for the expertise of Napa salespeople, who have not steered us wrong with incorrect parts. This particular Napa store is hooked to one of their larger distribution centers in the area. So if you need a car part or tool, there is a good chance they'll have it at this store, or in the attached warehouse. The last time I was in, everyone was masked (during pandemic times), and aisles and floors were clearly marked to keep patrons safely distanced. When we have an auto parts need, it may save us a few bucks to go to a cheaper vendor, but avoiding the hassle of wrong parts and returns makes it worth it to pay the price at reliable Napa.

We have bought two Minis from Towne Mini and the purchase experiences for both were wonderful…read more Time's have changed, apparently. With financing secured and a deposit placed on the vehicle we planned to purchase, we headed to the "new" Mini of Buffalo (West Herr BMW) to have our trade appraised with high hopes that this purchase would be as smooth as the previous two. We left disappointed. The original trade-in offer they made us -- at roughly $7,000 below what other dealerships had already offered -- was insulting. We sat for over an hour and a half while they crunched numbers. After that time, a second offer came back, following a somewhat condescending explanation of how the market works that we did not need. Still below what we were being offered other places. We were a "no." Feeling insulted and frustrated at the time we wasted (we both took time off from work to make the appointment), we made the tough decision to move on. We asked for our deposit back and were taken to cashier. She literally told us, and the sales manager we had been working with, that we would have to wait while she finished something else. Not a "hello." Not "how are you doing today?" Just a "I have to do this first" with a shush finger in the air. So, we were left waiting again. After about 15 minutes, she tells us that there's nothing she can do. It would have to wait until the next day. We still have not heard back on getting the deposit. The experience at Mini of Buffalo was awful. That said, our sales manager is someone we have worked with in the past. His enthusiasm and knowledge of the Mini brand is unmatched. He seemed as disappointed as we were. And, frankly, he deserves far better. The Mini brand deserves far better.

I can't say enough good things about the team at Towne MINI…read more I was not in the market for a car but I found one on their lot just driving by and 3 days later, it was mine. The sales team is friendly without being overbearing and they aren't the least bit pushy. I didn't feel like I was cornered into agreeing to terms that didn't work for me and they were honest about their pricing, which was great. I never thought I'd be a "MINIac", but here I am, sucked into the culture and happily. Getting my MINI through Towne has been a real treat and has allowed me to meet some new and wonderful friends who are just as enthusiastic about their car. Towne supports the group with events throughout WNY (picnics, rallys, Christmas parties, and a lot of philanthropy as well). If you're interested in a MINI, go see the team at Towne.
