I have never seen Ken so they could have some kids from a training class work on car. My car has been back 3 times for transmission issues and have been there for a minimum of 2 weeks per time. I was explained everything in detail and had pictures on my invoice so I could see what's going on with my vehicle. They updated me along the way when they had my vehicle and even offered me a loaner car so I could take care of my kids, get back and forth to work. It's was easy to pay at time of pickup for my vehicle by a text link and email option because I was coming after they closed. Also they told me they do send out coupons in the mail. Keep your eyes peeled!

My car battery tested unusually low during my inspection, I was asked to come back to double check as it was extremely cold that day. I stopped by a couple weeks later. They are too booked to do, it. Isabella tells me to bring it back Thursday morning. Bring the car back Thursday morning. Patrick clearly annoyed with the fact I was in the shop. Not sure if I wasn't put on the schedule appropriately, or just having a personal bad day. Car battery gets checked. Patrick has battery tested "it's at 56% you're good to go." I inquire if that is normal for a battery I believed to only be a year old? "Yeah new batteries can test as low as 80% in this weather, so 56-80% is acceptable." This was said in front of a full waiting room. I inquire with friends more mechanically inclined than me. I am informed yes l, weather will affect the test but, that's testing at a 2 year old charge. Patrick couldn't be bothered to look up as to when the battery was replaced for me to confirm the date. Didn't discuss how the warranty would be determined. A 24% margin of error seems pretty high for a determining factor on a warranty. Didn't tell me what determines an under performing battery, and what would qualify for replacement. Nor tell me when the warranty expires, to potentially bring it back in warmer weather to test again, before the warranty is null. Very disappointed, this is not reflective of brand and service I have become accustomed to, glad they have a second location. I will be avoiding the Transit location.

Said that I only needed an inspection and a new battery... nothing wrong w/ the car.. then i took my newer car to Scruggs on transit for an oil change.. i get a call back that i needed a lot of work done.. head gasket etc.. something you would think that the dealership would've taken care of...once i received the cost i was ready to cry.. they offered me a 3rd party lender.. YAYYYY!! that was awesome.. the people there are the greatest..Henry, Patrick, Carmine (he did the work on my car), Isabella.. I was treated like one of the family.. i will be going there anytime i need to have something done on the car.. you should go too.... THEY ARE THE BEST!! SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE REST!!

With financing secured and a deposit placed on the vehicle we planned to purchase, we headed to the "new" Mini of Buffalo (West Herr BMW) to have our trade appraised with high hopes that this purchase would be as smooth as the previous two. We left disappointed. The original trade-in offer they made us -- at roughly $7,000 below what other dealerships had already offered -- was insulting. We sat for over an hour and a half while they crunched numbers. After that time, a second offer came back, following a somewhat condescending explanation of how the market works that we did not need. Still below what we were being offered other places. We were a "no." Feeling insulted and frustrated at the time we wasted (we both took time off from work to make the appointment), we made the tough decision to move on. We asked for our deposit back and were taken to cashier. She literally told us, and the sales manager we had been working with, that we would have to wait while she finished something else. Not a "hello." Not "how are you doing today?" Just a "I have to do this first" with a shush finger in the air. So, we were left waiting again. After about 15 minutes, she tells us that there's nothing she can do. It would have to wait until the next day. We still have not heard back on getting the deposit. The experience at Mini of Buffalo was awful. That said, our sales manager is someone we have worked with in the past. His enthusiasm and knowledge of the Mini brand is unmatched. He seemed as disappointed as we were. And, frankly, he deserves far better. The Mini brand deserves far better.

The sales team is friendly without being overbearing and they aren't the least bit pushy. I didn't feel like I was cornered into agreeing to terms that didn't work for me and they were honest about their pricing, which was great. I never thought I'd be a "MINIac", but here I am, sucked into the culture and happily. Getting my MINI through Towne has been a real treat and has allowed me to meet some new and wonderful friends who are just as enthusiastic about their car. The staff at Dunn Tire in Lancaster was helpful to me in the middle of a road trip when my tire pressure light went on. They told me on the phone that they'd check it out for me, did that immediately when I arrived a few minutes later, and reassured me that my pressure was fine. I was out of there within a minute or two and finished my 12-hour round trip with no worries. Recommend! read more

Nick was easy to work with and kept me informed throughout the entire process from ordering parts to the completion of the installation. My truck looks better than I could've imagined and I will definitely be recommending Scruggs to any friends and family looking for a reputable and reasonable shop.

I brought my 2022 to Neighborhood Car Care - Elma after noticing a bulge in one of my tires. Since…read morethe vehicle was already there, I also authorized an oil change and left my vehicle overnight to await the inspection. After inspecting my vehicle, I was presented with an estimate of approximately $4,500 in repairs, not including the cost of replacing all four tires. The estimate didn't seem right to me, so I declined the repairs and went up to pick up my car. I watched the technicians pull my vehicle out of the garage following the oil change, paid my bill, and drove about 30 miles directly to my regular mechanic for a second opinion. I'm incredibly glad I did. After a thorough inspection, my mechanic determined that the extensive repairs recommended by Neighborhood Car Care - Elma were not needed. The only repair my vehicle actually needed was a new set of tires because of the damaged sidewall. Even more concerning, he found blowback oil from an improperly installed oil filter upon lifting the car to do an inspection when I arrived. He explained that the oil filter and O-ring had not been installed correctly during the oil change that had just been completed. He corrected the issue, and I was fortunate he caught it when he did. Left uncorrected, it could have resulted in a catastrophic engine failure. I called Neighborhood Car Care - Elma immediately and explained what my mechanic had found. They apologized and stated they would refund the cost of the oil change. Between the approximately $4,500 repair estimate (before tires) for repairs that my mechanic determined were unnecessary and an improperly installed oil filter on a routine oil change, I have no confidence in the quality of the work performed. A routine oil change should be just that--routine. Based on my experience, I believe it's better to steer clear.
