Good lord do not bring your car here for something simple. I went in just asking them to check the tire pressure (an appointment) on my front left tire. Somehow they had my car for an hour and a half just to show me a tiny tack-sized nail. During that entire time the car was lifted and the tire was completely removed. This was by far the slowest process I've ever experienced for something as basic as checking a tire. To make it worse, there were only three cars in the garage at the time, so there's really no excuse for the delay. What should have been a quick 15-30 minute check turned into a long, close to 2 hour wait. Overall, the service felt extremely slow and unorganized. Purchased 4 Tires from Dunn Tire Williamsville NY on 06/2020cost was less then dealership price by $200 dollars, I had appointment took 2hrs to install tires they were some busy blew it off. I take my Truck to the Lancaster shop Today 01/05/2021 no one in store 1:30PM ask to have my tires rotated and was told first available appointment is Tomorrow at 1:45pm. I won't be back at all. Dunn Tire offers free tire rotation and more but you have to make a appointment. 2 bays open at these store. I will pay the oil change place to rotate my tires. I've been meaning to review this place for a while. I live locally and they are very close to my home . At least once a year, my tire war I g lite guess on. I stress out and think the worst.. flat us in the way, or nail in the tire, etc. I'm also nervous about filling up w air on my own at a gas station and the air hoses are hard to locate. ANYWAY, it's much easier fir me to pull into Dunn tire and ask them to take a look. They are always courteous, always tell me to pull my car right around and top off with air. And reassure me that there is no major problem . On one occasion I did have a nail in the tire that couldn't be repaired and they worked w me to get a good replacement for a fair price . I purchased 60k tires at a club membership place whose tread wore down to 2/32 in 12,000 miles. The manufacturer honored the warrenty and sent me to Dunn Tire on Walden Ave in Lancaster NY. The assistant manager, Mark M., made sure a got into a different 75k better tire and insured I got the best pro-rated price from the manufacturer. My appointment was at 1pm and I was out the door at 2pm with a free 15 point inspection. Great place. read more

I visited their location at 3524 Walden Ave for an inspection. After completing the paper work, my significant other and I were told we would receive a phone call when the inspection was complete. 1 hour and 30 minutes pass without a phone call so we show up, the vehicle was ready but it failed inspection due to the license plate lights being out. Pete (I'm fairly certain is his name) then gave me a quote for $217 claiming that the "wire is rot" and they would need to replace the wiring and bulbs. We decline the repair and take it home. We then take it to a family friend, and he simply replaces the bulbs and wire caps and it works perfectly fine and passed inspection at different mechanic. Dunn clearly was lying here trying to take advantage of younger and inexperienced customers. Dunn tire is not trustworthy and was trying to take advantage of it's customers. read more

Came in for a tire repair which was needed due to picking up a screw in one of my tires. They couldn't help me since their computers were down (not sure where a computer comes into play for removing a screw??). They suggested I make an appointment for later in the day, which I did. Upon arriving for my appt it took them 40 minutes to begin the repair. Unacceptable - why make an appointment if it's not honored? It took an hour and 30 minutes (with an appt!!) from the time if my arrival to complete a simple repair - one that a TIRE STORE should be really good at. I live within walking distance of this shop but I'll never be back. What good is a convenient location with service like this?? read more

Bought four new tires for my family vehicle and the didn't tighten the lugs. They were all hand tight. I don't recommend this place.

Don't waste your time bringing your car here! I brought mine in for a inspection with the check engine light on. They said they would diagnose and fix the problem. They had my car for over 24 hours. They diagnosed the problem but apparently didn't have the capability to fix the issue. They charged me 88 bucks for absolutely nothing. I still have the engine light on and no inspection. read more

I try to take my cars here for all of my inspections since they're not a full service shop and aren't likely to say I need work done that I don't. I recently took my 2017 Explorer there knowing that the tires were not likely going to pass inspection. Indeed, I needed four tires. I explained to the guy that there is only one year left on the lease and he found me tires for $150 a piece. Initially, he said that the alignment looked off, however when I picked it up, the alignment was fine, which saved me money I wouldn't have questioned. I frequent a closer location of Dunn Tire, but it stopped here after work when my Tire Pressure Monitoring System had been on since the morning. Luckily, I made it to work and it didn't get worse, even with attempting to use a gas station air pump, but I still wanted to get it checked out. I came right in and they offered to check the pressure/fill my tires and see if the TPMS went off and then they would do a flat check if needed. The associate that helped me was very cheery and let me know what each tire was at. It seemed like just all the tires were a bit low and I may have made one of them worse, lol. He said that was normal and feel free to stop back if the light came back on. No charge, no problems, and I was on my way in 10 minutes. This is why I have been a happy Dunn Tire customer for years. These slimy mechanics weaseled 150+ extra bucks out of me saying that my Jetta with only 40k miles had a "torn serpentine belt" and that they would fail my inspection without it. This is not the first time this Dunn Tire threatened to fail an inspection without spending an arm and a leg for no particular reason. They manipulate ignorant customers with minimal car knowledge into thinking they need to pay for more than they really do. After shopping online and finding a tire based on performance and price I called to make an appointment. I learned that the tires advertised online are not in stock in fact only one of the many options was available and the pricing was incorrect. The only tire available was $30 more than advertised. Out of necessity I scheduled an appointment asking for a timeframe so I could schedule the rest of my day. I was told "one hour" after I arrive. I've been sitting here two hours thus far. A month ago I made an appointment for an front end alignment, I was told I needed a lower ball joint,in order to do the alignment.So I take my truck to my mechanic to confirm the ball joint was bad,as soon as my mechanic walked under the truck,he noticed I had a broken spring on the strut.He then checked both ball joints and told me they were fine.So he replaces both struts.I take the truck back to Dunn Tire for the alignment,NOW they tell me I need BOTH lower ball joints replaced,before the can do the alignment. $554.00, was the quote to do the repair,and alignment. So I took my truck else where for the alignment,in and out NO problem,nothing was mentioned about the ball joints. Would NOT recommend Dunn Tire for any auto repair! read more
