Here's why I put Corley into my strongly trusted set of service companies... 3 guys from a DIFFERENT company stopped by saying while working on a neighbor's roof they saw a flashing on my roof that needed to be nailed down. I told them to go ahead and when they came down, they said my chimney cap was cracked and there was a good deal of rotting of the wood frame inside it. They had photos and quoted repair options from $7K to more than 3 times that amount. I called Corley to get their opinion, they came out within a day or two, and they said my chimney cap was 100% fine! It turns out, my chimney from my 100+ year old house doesn't even have a wooden frame inside it. And they pointed out a different problem, a real one -- I had a metal chimney flue and they saw it was rusted/cracked, but that wasn't in their menu of services . So not only did they save me from the fraudsters, but they saved me from potential damage from the damaged flue which I had fixed. And they didn't charge me a dime for this roof check. There was a time also within the first 5 years of my roof that some flashing or something slipped, and I did have a small leak. I called Corley, the roof was still under the 5 year warranty, and they fixed it promptly. So thank you Corley. When I hear people needing a roofer, I refer them to you.

Quality work at a fair price with great customer service…read more After we noticed water damage on the bedroom ceiling in our townhouse, we read the reviews and, called Low Cost Roofing (LCR). Rolando was able to come over the following day. He performed a thorough interior and exterior inspection of our roof and clearly documented the issues including providing pictures. He clearly explained our options and the benefits and costs of each of them. We chose to have our roof completely replaced. He sent a crew over the following morning to temporarily repair the problem. And, we were able to schedule the work within a week. He and his crew completed the roof in a single day. They were extremely professional. Rolando provide a full set of before and after pictures and the crew left the area around our townhouse cleaner than they found it. He also arranged for a contractor to perform the necessary interior repairs which were completed the following week. He came by to check out my issue on the roof, explained what was going on, gave me a reasonable estimate and was ready and willing to fix the issue on-site. I almost never write bad Yelp reviews and I have been sitting on writing this review for a while but I had to because I am still so upset with the quality of service. When giving me my estimate, they sent a real professional to actually survey the property, go up on the roof, take measurements, etc. I had a really good feeling about the company. However, the person who gave me the estimate quit the company and I was reassigned to someone else who never physically came by to see the property. On the day of the installation, the team that they sent had no familiarity with the specifics of the project (which was attic insulation, gutter installation and rain barrel installation). I had to explain everything to them all over again, like they'd never heard of it before. It didn't help that they didn't really speak English and I had to show them what a rain barrel was with hand gestures. The workers installed my backyard rain barrel backwards, and my front yard rain barrel upside down. They took bricks from another part of my yard to mount my rain barrel without asking. The worst part by far: One of the workers, without asking, cut down my Virginia creeper plant that I had been growing and training for three years. It covered the front of my house and attracted birds and butterflies in the spring. Now it's destroyed. There was literally no reason to do this, he didn't ask for permission or anything (he said "it's poison!" when I asked why he did it; it's not, it's a harmless native plant). My house used to be unique, now it looks like every other house on the block. This last offense was intolerable, I called the company and demanded they sent someone down. They ultimately discounted the project by $2600, which was fine but did not compensate me for my loss. This was the first time any supervisor actually came to the property. It was clear the supervisor didn't know the workers at all, and he couldn't communicate with them any better than I could. The management had no interest in coming by to check work after it was complete, either. I had to reach out to them to request that they do so. They were perfectly content to just let their workers do it and leave for the day. Ultimately, they did the job that was on the contract, hence the two stars: they insulated my attic, installed gutters, and installed rain barrels. But everything else was a terrible experience. I wish I could undo hiring them in the first place.

He provided them all the documentation they needed to approve my repair.  On the day of my repair, I had an older family member at my home because I had to work. Alonzo's team arrived on time and was nice to my family member even when she "checked" on them a few times. When I arrived home after work the team was wrapping up. I was SHOCKED how close they were able to match the color of my new siding with the rest of my home. I was so grateful the team took the time to make sure every nail was picked up by using a magnetic apparatus. The side of my home they repaired is above my flower garden. I didn't have to worry about nails sticking me when I put down mulch recently and when it is time for me to use my lawnmower to cut my grass.  As a female homeowner, I unfortunately encounter contractors that are rude or try to quote me a higher price.
