This is a great store, I mean Kroger has ruined what "was" the closest thing we had to Whole Foods in the 80's and 90's. Now it's just slightly better than Safeway. But a story for another time.... This particular QFC on the Pine Lake end? Today was hilarious! I was at the Butcher/Seafood area and the guy told me I had to wait because he was feeding his friend and coworker crab out of the seafood case. I was shocked. And I walked off and heard his friend say "whoa, there he goes...." I don't want to be a nag but I carefully considered mentioning it to the cashier at checkout. Not trying to be a Karen or police QFC. It's just bad for business. As I approached the checkout area, all the self checkout monitors and cashiers were clustered in a group laughing and talking with complete disregard of the 70-80 customers in the store. Everyone was funneling to self checkout and no one was even there monitoring, helping, checking IDs etc. I laughed to myself because I have to fire someone Monday and what he did wasn't this bad. Dissapointed in the Digital coupons - Bait and switch pricing. For example price in bold and red states $3.99 on item then at the register customer is charged $6.99. QFC should drop their digital bait and swith program. Having to put your phone number into their system should be enough. The local Trader Joes has much better prices and does not make customers put thier phone numbers into their systems and downlaod endless coupons in order to pay a reasonable price for groceries. read more

Stopped to pick up several items. BOught some tea bags, pasta, grapes, spaghetti sauce, pillsbury cinnamon buns, ground beef and donuts. They sell top pot donuts at Qfc's and recently added cinnamon sugar raised donuts to their variety. Love these donuts.. just about every time I stop in to top pot in Issaquah they are sold out. read more

This QFC offers a wide variety of essentials. They have a great wine section with a range of higher end wines to basic offerings. The store is clean, well lit and easy to navigate. They offer employee and self checkout. I chose self checkout as the line was typically smaller. Easy to use and if you need help it's there quickly. Great deli selection and a really impressive cheese section. You can get big wedges or small to sample a variety. The employees are helpful and the prices are decent. Make sure to get a QFC card, as in all supermarkets these days it'll save you some money. read more

Most of the employees are friendly. Except for the wine steward, he's a real narcissist and I can clearly see he doesn't treat his employees fairly or kindly. Fantastic supermarket with a great selection of ready-to-eat foods. Their fried chicken is packed with flavor--herbs and spices rivaling even KFC! My kids love their sushi, perfect for school lunches, and their chicken salads are outstanding with three delicious varieties to choose from. I'm also a fan of their Jarlsberg dip, a bit indulgent but so worth it. The food options here are definitely tastier than what I find at Safeway. This location also has friendly staff, fresh produce, and convenient late hours. Five stars--highly recommend! read more

There is not way to state except to go to the point. I am 100% sure this store is run by people with serious personal issues. The staff is not disciplined and don't care. There are many examples of this. They break eggs and don't check. Vegtbles are written and they don't care. Store not full clean and they don't care. The people working there talk to you as if they are doing you a favor. This morning is the only time I got eggs without checking because I was in rush. Half of the two dozen are broken and stuck to the box. I had enough of their incompetence. Not going there anymore. This is not employee issue, but a management issue. Fire the store manage and get some who actually has some pride in what they do. read more

If you want a tad more expensive option to Fred Meyer that only sells groceries (v. clothes, etc), stop by QFC. It's in a strip mall with several other stores like Rite Aid and Starbucks, but don't fret. There's a mini-Starbucks inside QFC so you can enjoy your coffee as you shop. A few stand outs: 1) Seafood section: Of course being outside of Seattle, they have a good seafood section with fresh catches. 2) Wine and liquor: They have an extensive wine collection including some expensive bottles. Right next to the wines is the liquor. 3) Produce: It's big and high quality. Enjoy shopping! read more

This QFC store has many issues. Sales price on the product doesn't reflect to the price they charge. I purchased 2 packages of beef. They were on sale. Original price 22.67 was reduced to 13.60 and other one 22.04 was reduced to 13.22. But I was charged $18.35 (QFC saving 4.32) and $17.84 (QFC saving 4.20). Instead of sales price $13.60 and $13.22. I was overcharged $9.37. This weird sales charges happened before but I didn't claim that time. But this time, I had to let them know. I talked to one of employee. She said "QFC receipts shows original price. Sales price is, you have to calculate". She subtracted 18.35-4.32 and 17.84-4.20. Excuse me?? IT IS NOT. Unbelievable. I didn't know what she was doing. Employee does not know how their receipt shows!? She gave me $2 and threw me her rude attitude "go away". I don't know if manager was there. I waited for a while but didn't showed up. I left the store. No way for me to argue with non-sense rude person. If you shop at QFC, you know how their receipt shows. The price on the left is the price you pay. If the product is on sale, the saving shows on the next line as QFC Saving. It's nice store, clean enough and many products to choose. But business runs reckless. It's just sad. read more

I came in 2 weeks ago to purchase a bottle of liquor for my friends birthday. There was 3 employees all making rude faces at eachother and sneering at me while I was picking out the bottle. After I picked it out, The manager accused me of using my older brothers ID and an altercation ensued in which the self checkout guy called me a dumbass (in front of other customers too.) I had not cussed, insulted, or even raised my voice at them, it was not deserving. I am seriously considering pursuing legal action for the way I was treated. read more

Staff isn't as friendly or welcoming as they used to be. I do like the Starbucks inside and fireplace. It's a bit pricey but it's produce is better that Safeway. They stopped carrying my favorite Norwegian goat cheese so that's inconvenient. read more

C'mon people, it's a grocery store and not a restaurant. It's a cut above average and certainly more appealing and customer-friendly than, say Safeway or Albertson's. We've shopped there for many years and will continue to do so. Food selection is great - including organics - and the Deli is pretty good. Customer service is excellent. read more

This is one of the best grocery stores on the eastside. The produce manager is one of the top rated in the country. The meat is the best in the area by far. If you have ever been to a Qfcs competitor then you know Qfc really does have superior checkout speed and cashier friendliness. This is a wonderful place. read more

Ever since my family and I moved to the Plateau and Highlands area several years ago from elsewhere in the Eastside, I've gone to this and another QFC nearby for convenience-oriented grocery shopping. Freddys in Issy is also Kroeger yet ~20% cheaper, as is TJs near NE 8th & 228th Ave. We come here because I just need a few things or it's open late when others are closed. Freddys organic produce are every bit as good as this QFC and their selection of premium/high-end items have been improving; QFCs selection of said items are getting worse. If I'm going to pay premium prices for food, I want equally high-quality to match! I can't wait until Metropolitan Market comes to Sammamish in 2017. Open more cashier lines. Cashier lines are routinely 5-7 people deep and they only have 1-2 open. They keep telling you to go to self checkout which continually has problems with the scanners and nobody there to help. Mgmt needs to step back and just open more cashier lanes read more

Single worst experience at a QFC. Wife and I came to do our shopping at 9:30. No checker....at all. Just a smart ass at the self check who chose not to help in any way. We self checked 4 large heavy bags while the smart ass watched the entire time. I've never experienced anything like it. It's shameful!! read more

Go to qfc all the time on my lunch break to get food and this one is sad...... hardly ever even has the hot food available.

Besides Costco, this is where we do the majority of our grocery shopping. The staff is always friendly & helpful. The prices can be on the high side but I stick to the sale items or special buys. The addition of click list has been so nice as well. I can order all my groceries & then just drive over & park & they bring the order out to me. Very convenient & nice! read more

I come to this store probably 5 times a week. The food is always of good quality but the check out lanes are sometimes a nightmare. The other day my checker didn't know what portabella mushrooms were and it took him about five minutes of ringing in everything from turnips to squash before he finally found them. No apology but really who doesn't know what portabellas are? The newest annoyance are the pickup/ check out areas....5 spots at the main entrance to the store. They are never occupied and I have never seen anyone in them so now my quick stop at the store involves driving around the parking lot several times. Go to Klahanie Klahanie instead. read more

Good if you like to be forced into buying their brands. Big name brands falling from the shelves at a fast rate replaced with lesser quality Kroger brands. Check out the soup isle - Campbell's is teeny tiny. 30 years and I'm now driving further to another store to choose the brands I want. Buy a cucumber on Tuesday, throw it out moldy on Thursday, same with Romaine. Not sure how long ago they were picked but certainly don't qualify as "fresh". read more

Overall great store. I am deducting a star for the guy doing the express lane a few days ago. Had my pie and my hummus at a sharp angle in the bag, where they would obviously get ruined. I had to re-stack the bag right there, before they could slide. Just lazy or stupid. read more

I go to this qfc at least once a day, I live and work very to close to it.. The employees are always very friendly as and willing to help.. This morning I went in and was a little short changed and I called am attendant to remove one of items since I was short, he instead got me the change and told me to have a good day..little things like that, really make my day. The automated self-checkout is a nightmare. We tried to buy a few groceries and were confronted with several error messages and demands to call over a person to help. Unfortunately, despite their incredibly high prices, QFC has chosen to have only one or two persons working the store after 10PM. Once we got someone to grudgingly help us, he was unable to resolve the issue. Problem was, the wine we tried to purchase was not in the computer system, so there was no price. We ended up leaving it there, unable to buy it. That is bad for the customer, and bad for QFC. They need to revisit their customer service and make sure the system has pricing built in. Otherwise, people leave unhappy and QFC loses sales. read more
