I used to go to the trader Joe's in Lynnwood and Ballard years ago. I have not been in a long time. Today I needed a healthy option for dinner and breakfast foods while I was staying in Issaquah. I was psyched to see the trader Joe's was close to my motel. I got some old favorites plus some easy ready to eat items for meals. The store was small and busy (it was after 4pm so rush hour was starting). What made me happy was Katie the cashier. She was nice and rang me up fast. I mentioned that I needed to find utensils for my food and she said, "oh i have some!" She hooked a girl up with forks and spoons. That was a relief! She is a real one. Prices were reasonable since this was trader Joe's specific food and products. I was excited to see the orzo lemon salad and the sun dried tomato with chicken wrap were still a thing. I got the frosting filled maple leaf cookies which are a must have treat. I got honey trader Joe's O's and yogurt for breakfast. I got a kale salad mix with cooked chicken for dinner. Along with some other items my bill was $47. That's not bad considering how crazy this economy has been lately. Trader Joe's is maintaining their standards which is nice to see in an ever changing landscape. They haven't tried to reinvent the trader Joe's wheel. They aren't broke so they're not trying to fix it. read more

This has been my local Trader Joe's for the last ten years and I love the homey local vibes! My favourite grocery run side quest used to be trying to find the missing animal from their mini cougar mountain zoo and I'm so heartbroken they replaced all of them with one salmon. Don't get me wrong, I love fish, but why can't all four of them work at Trader Joe's together? I loved how they were dressed up for every occasion and it brought me so much joy every time I came in. The employees here are always so kind and friendly. I never feel like they're brushing me off when I ask for help looking for anything. Soren is my favourite, they deserve a raise!! read more

Trader Joe's in Issaquah is always such a fun and reliable stop. The store is clean, the staff is super friendly, and they keep all the fan‑favorite items well stocked. It's easy to grab everything from fresh produce to unique snacks without feeling overwhelmed. The only downside is that parking can be a bit hard to find during busy hours, but the great service and selection make it worth it. read more

This Trader Joe's is always busy. The parking lot can also get pretty packed because it shares with a few other businesses. I also heard a Uniqlo is going to open next door soon and I can't imagine what the parking will be like then. I recently stopped by to get some things to take back to Hawaii. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they were stocked with a lot of Christmas items and that there were still a lot of fall products. They also have a lot of things for pets, soaps and beauty products and a lot of alcohol. I picked up some advent calendars. They had ones for cats or dogs. They also had a candle one, a beauty one and the regular cheap chocolate one. At the register. They don't have a lot of bag options. Although I did spot the mini orange Halloween totes in the corner. I was happy to see that they had the 3 pack mystery set of reusable bags so I got one of those and ended up with TJ bags from Connecticut, Virginia and California. The people working here are nice and the ambiance is definitely in line with the other Trader Joe's I've been to. If only the parking were a little bit better and it wasn't so crowded.... read more

I have been lazy about cooking lately so i went to look for some frozen foods that i could heat up quickly. TJs always has some tasty items in their frozen food section. There is a wide variety of "Asian ( Chinese, Korean, Indian, Vietnamese, etc.) style meals /ingredients" for example honey walnut shrimp, wontons, char sui baos, naan, Japanese cheese cake, lo mein & japchae just to name a few. They change up what they carry too. They keep changing the layout of the products, so sometimes you need to hunt for items. Their vegetables and fruits are always fresh and reasonably priced. I tend to shop here every couple of weeks. read more

With ALL the crazy I'm seeing online, I wanted to take a moment to praise the manager (Dan?) and the Issaquah Team for how well they handled the new mini tote drop beginning on Wednesday June 17th and beyond. He was pleasant and very helpful, clearly setting expectations and letting people in line know not only what was going to happen, but even as the line was moving, letting folks know as the supply started to dwindle. Letting people know they will have other opportunities was mind-blowing, and honestly could not have been done better. This Trader Joe's is in a pretty busy shopping center and there is plenty of parking. This Trader Joe's is always pretty busy too. The staff will help you with any questions and check out is always a breeze. The aisles are easy to navigate even when it's busy so that's definitely a plus. Seldom do I come here and not find what I'm looking for. The shelves are nicely stocked and produce is always fresh. The price factor is obviously a big consideration into why I shop at at Trader Joe's. It offers affordability with great options. read more

Tj's is the titties!!!! Smaller selection than major grocery stores, but i take it with the value and quality!! Been going to Trader Joe's all over Washington for years (UW and West Seattle mostly) but the issaquah location is my new fave!! I think it's a newer storefront, maybe? Always ample parking, spacious aisles in comparison to most other TJ stores and they always seem to be stocked up with all the staples. Great flower selection and fresh, on-the-go, ready made snacks and salads. Less rushed and there's almost always a line open, cashiers ready to help and no wait at check out. The service here is awesome which makes for good vibes all around!! I think Sofia (name hopefully correct) was my cashier last visit and she way an absolute peach! You can tell the team here really enjoys their jobs. She was so friendly and quick, evan asked me if I wanted a to-go (recycled and compostable) fork to go for my salad!! I've never been asked that at any store before and I was ecstatic haha (also super hungry lol). Will forever be a weekly grocery stop, thank you for the continued outstanding quality Trader Joe's! My GO-TO and favorite location! Yes, I drive from Seattle to Issaquah just for Trader Joe's. This particular location is memorable. I love the staff here. And the store always looks so clean and spacious so even on a busy day, it's not too crowded. Every TJ's branch is different but I love Issaquah's selection and availability of flower bouquets. I don't think I ever had an issue with any of their items here and I always find what I need. Parking is never an issue because it's located in a shopping plaza. read more

Just like basically everyone else: I love me some TJs! I used to have to drive 40+ min to go to TJs so I'd stock up on all the things. These days the Kent TJs is my first grocery stop...but I've also realized that when it comes to the seasonal/limited products not all TJs are equal and it's worthwhile to pop your head in to other locations (or call like a normal person? Who calls anyone?!) I've ended up at this location several times over the years, typically for a quick grab-and-go lunch to take while hiking, though I most recently found myself here for some seasonal items, some of which they actually had! Overall I like this location. It's pretty big and nicely maintained. Like all the other TJs, I avoided the produce section and usually dislike bakery. The produce packaging is a complete waste of our resources and it gives me, the consumer, less of a choice. The pre-cut stuff dries out quickly and the regular produce is typically overripe. The bakery? Sometimes I'll find some gems, but overall, I'd rather go to one of the many local bakeries for a better product. That said, I'm totally into everything else about TJs. They have all sorts of unique items, both seasonal and not, that you just can't find anywhere else! read more

As a frequent visitor of TJ's throughout Western WA, this Issaquah location is one of my favorites. It really has that small-town store vibe, with oodles of cool outdoor produce displays and a super welcoming environment. Yes, it boasts the usual TJ's offerings of amazing things you didn't really know you needed, not to mention a nice big parking lot (always a TJ's plus). But what sets this spot apart for me is the amazing staff. And that's saying something, because mingling with Trader Joe's employees is almost always a positive experience. But the Issaquah staff is absolutely top-notch. They're so friendly I've been known to engage in food-related conversations for way longer than I should! It's like visiting an old friend's house. Shoutout, as always, to the free samples of food and coffee in the back. They keep me going on the long days! read more

Hard to not love what has become one of the most iconic food chains ever! This Trader Joe's is really no different. You walk in, and immediately transported to a place where produce is a little bit less expensive, they have a good selection of beer, wine and hippie (Read: Kombucha) drinks, and they've got a good cheese section! It's been quite a while since I have been to a Trader Joe's, but the set up of this one was similar to all that I had seen previously. The selection is good, but they probably don't have everything that you're looking for. They have tons of organic options, including blueberry juice, which we found for the first time. The cheese selection was better than I was expecting, and the Charles Shaw wine varieties were more plentiful than when I had last been in here. Our favorite findings from this trip were the truffle, and rosemary varieties of Marcona almonds, the salt, garlic, parsley and onion grinder/shaker and a myriad of sparkling water choices. We've never been able to do all our shopping at Trader Joe's, but per usual, it was a delightful time where we found some new things and some old favorites! read more

Organized differently then other TJs I've visited, some of the items felt like they weren't in obvious places (coffee and tea at the end of wine wall?), but thankfully, staff is as friendly and helpful as you'd expect from TJs. Smaller, too, the space makes it easy to run thru once, twice or three times to find the items you missed on the first two times around. The sample on this visit was a tiny cup of pulled pork over broccoli slaw and a square of hoagie roll. read more

I sat on a bench outside the store and was fighting with the plastic container when a man asked if he could help. I somehow managed. He then asked if I needed some napkins which he promptly brought to me. It winds up he was a TJ employee, "I love Trader Joe's" I told him. It was just what I needed that day. I love shopping at this Trader Joe's. I've been getting my groceries from TJ's since they were at their previous Pickering Place location. Although there aren't as many parking spaces, the Issaquah Commons store is much bigger and more organized. It definitely helps to have a lot more room. The thing I love Trader Joe's over the other bigger grocery stores is that you don't have to choose from multiple brands. Why do I have to make a decision on 8 different Wheat Breads? They're all the same. Trader Joe's has one or two to choose from, which allows them to keep the cost down. There's so many things I buy from this place. The pre-made salads for lunches, fresh produce, Chicken Fried Rice and Salsa Verde Burritos from the freezer section, and so much more. What I really buy the most are the flavored Sparkling Waters. At $0.99 each, I usually buy 4 or 5 of them every time. My current flavors are Pineapple and Lime. The best part about the whole thing is that I never spend more than $50 on groceries for the week. It's such a good value. The only thing Trader Joe's doesn't make or have in their stores is Spam, but I'm ok with that. I really don't need Spam in my diet. Trader Joe's has totally changed the way I grocery shop. I can't remember when the last time it was I set foot in a QFC or Safeway. Trader Joe's has everything I need and more! read more

This is a solid Trader Joe's in Issaquah. It's spacious, well-stocked, tons of employees are on the floor, ready to help and it's brighter and larger, compared to its former location. Though the former location had tons more parking available since it was in a shopping centre behind Costco, so was off the main drag in Issaquah - this one is still good to visit. You just have to fight for some parking since the place is swarming all the time with people from the nearby stores, including Target. That's pretty much the only negative about this place! Staff is super helpful here, and will make great suggestions for recipes and such. They also are knowledgeable about their products. Ask them where so and so is and they immediately know where to lead you to and will check in the back if it's not in stock. This location is very popular, as it's the only one in Issaquah. And since it's so busy all the time, they run out of items quicker than at other locations - which has happened more than once in my case. Overall, Trader Joe's is awesome, so it's especially nice that there's a location here in Issaquah for all those TJ fans in the area. read more

This place has a good selection and used to go here often. Only reason I'm giving it low star rating is that half the staff were not masked and two of the maskless were coughing as they worked restocking and at the register. How can you be so absent minded about the customers to not wear a mask even if you have a sniffle or slight cough? It's just blatantly disregarding people's ability to shop in a safe environment. Wear a mask shouldn't be something a customer has to ask someone coughing into their sleeve as they pack you groceries. We even tried to pack it ourselves to which they said you can't because of the virus. Excuse me but why are you coughing mask less into our bags then? read more

I consider myself lucky to live a minute away from a Trader Joe's, one of my favorite stores, this one being no exception. The crewmembers here are some of the most friendly Trader Joes staff I've encountered, always making you feel like a neighborhood regular with the small-town vibe that is a bit unique to this particular location. It isn't the biggest store location by any means, but the setup is familiar, well organized, and shelves are always well stocked. Sadly they can't sell liquor here, but as always the beer/wine selection is stellar. What I enjoy about TJs the most is the wide (and affordable) cheese selection, unique seasonal snacks, and cheap fresh produce. The succulents, house plants, fresh herb plants, and flowers are always solid here as well. Despite the occasionally difficult parking at this location, I always seem to find an easy to grab a spot along the side parallel spots or around back if it's exceptionally busy. If there is something you can't grab here, there are plenty of other stores in close proximity - Target across the street, Safeway around the corner, and a great QFC just down the road. Feedback for Trader Joes and not this location specifically.. I really wish the 'somewhat spicy dill flavored kettle cooked potato chips' would make their way back onto shelves. Discovered them in Summer of 2016 when I moved here, and have missed them since they disappeared that same year. read more

Oh I love Trader Joe's! I was happy to have yelped it, and find this location in Issaquah. The location is right off the highway and it's adjacent to a shared parking, which is very helpful, because most of the time TJ parking lots are terrible. The store was clean and well stocked, and we were able to navigate through the store and find some of the basic items that i usually look for. I highly recommend the Trader Joe's skin care, the argon oil, jojoba oil and face moisturizers are some of the best I've tried. We also usually pick up nuts, cheese and coconut milk. They had a beautiful display of flowers and plants, and the staff there were friendly. Looking forward to stopping by again. read more

Trader Joe's is life. I'm scared to calculate how much $$$ I spend here on a monthly or even annual basis... But it's a lot and I'm not even going to lie about it. What I love about this specific Trader Joe's is how organized the store is. While the parking outside is a nightmare, at least the store is consistently clean and stocked up. I love their constant rotation of seasonal goodies. How many options of GF items they have, their delicious samples! Everything is just great. This location also seems to have the friendlier staff. Everyone is bright and cheerful and always willing to help. Their frozen section is dangerous! You can never walk through it without buying one of everything. Trust me, many have tried and failed. Sneaky trick- go park in the back! It'll save you time circling to find a spot up front. OR the best tip of them all... Get there right at opening time! read more

I'm a huge TJ fan and have been to most of their eastside sites, and some in Seattle. This site has its pros and cons: PROs: the usual wonderful TJ fare and the usual wonderful TJ prices; samples to try!; beautiful flowers and so inexpensive; $1 greeting cards; a swell shopping cart parking area right outside the front door (SO smart); lots of employees in the aisles who ask if you need help and will actually walk you to the items you need (even if you simply ask them to point the way); nice bathrooms; cashiers all open, and move along briskly; friendly employees. CONs: small and horribly configured parking lot; smaller store than other TJs; no wine or any alcohol sold at this TJ site (my cashier told me they just don't carry any alcohol here. Not a big deal for me, but it may be for others. TJs are known for their inexpensive and good wines!). TJs carry so many terrific items, at such reasonable prices, too many to list here. It's the primary grocery store for me and my family. I think you just can't beat this chain. read more

This new location just opened a few days ago so it's in the transition period where everyone feels the need to visit it. Issaquah PD was directing traffic at the stop signs preventing people from crossing the street between Target and TJ's parking lot. Compared to the previous location in Issaquah this one is bright, clean and HUGE. Our theory is the huge beer, wine and hard liquor selection. The selection of $4 cheapo wines is an alcoholic's dream come true. The employees are extremely helpful and great but they too are still learning the placement of products within the store. With Trader Joe's now being in a convenient location and across from Super Target and Safeway we can't wait to add them to our grocery list for cheap and easy meals and booze. read more

Trader Joe's was the result of dating a new girlfriend who introduced me to weird food. The selection is crazy different that the QFC and Safeway, Albertsons that I grew up with. The cookie butter it out of this world good, they have their own hummus and veggies on down to ice cream. Friendly staff and a better place to get groceries. read more

I love Trader Joe's. This is a fab location. Same size as other locations like the one in West Seattle, this store also has all the same food stuffs. Grabbed a quart each of organic carrot juice and organic tangerine juice, dried apples and dried bananas for $15. While standing in line with my boyfriend, a cashier walked over, invited us to his line and took our items from our hands. He was cheerful and sweet. Thanks Doug! Who doesn't love TJ's? I was surprised at the low star reviews. This place rocks! They have the best selection and prices of produce and dairy...better than most super markets. Their prices are GREAT and the staff is so nice. Top things to try...hollandaise sauce, cheeses, coffee/teas, pot stickers, hummus, ice cream and dog treats/dog food! Don't forget the flowers, herbs, wine and vitamins are priced well and large selection. The only ting about the Issaquah location, since they moved is parking during peak shopping times (which I never go) but I would imagine it could get ugly. I shop here a few time a week! When you walk into this one you feel like you're walking into your high school reunion because you see EVERYONE you do not want to see while you're buying your Bok Chou. Hint: This location charges a bag fee of .05 per bag. They do not tell you and say the city requires it? Sale tax is 0.101694915254237% which is worse than Seattle and Washington politicians are not known for wise expenditures of our tax dollars. Appears Issaquah has a lot of hidden fees. We had bags in our car and a reminder at door would have been triggered us to bring them in. They charged us for three, only had two. To bad this TJ is nickeling their customer, I go back to Kent or Federal Way for honest TJ. read more

I love Trader Joe's. This is where I do the bulk of my grocery shopping. I love the range of Trader Joe's exclusive products such as the cookie butter, their frozen desserts, and their selection of cheese. I have to be careful about coming here hungry or else I end up with bags of their snacks - which is not really a problem but a blessing in disguise! My favorite thing would be the selection of wines. You can't go wrong with any of the Trader Joe's Reserve brand. I try to get something new each time I go. I am taking one star off because sometimes their produce can be a hit or miss. I have purchased strawberries from here that have gone bad within 3 days. The parking lot is always a little hairy at the Issaquah location. I haven't had a problem finding a spot(walking isn't an issue for me) but please drive with a little more caution! I'm talking about the people that zoom down the aisles and enter the parking lot at an increased speed. read more

Who doesn't love Trader Joe's? I have never had an issue with parking here, unlike the TJ's in UDistrict in Seattle. I don't buy a lot of produce at TJ's but there are a few things I get here that I don't get anywhere else because the prices are so much better. For example, large lemons. They're 39 cents here! They're a $1 at QFC and I don't know why QFC thinks they're special enough to charge $1/lemon. I also get things like garlic and shallots. And their HERBS! Again, $4.79 or so at QFC for a package of organic herbs. $1.79 at TJ's for the same stuff. No joke! Their canned Great Northern Beans are 99 cents and are organic. I also like their meats and cheese section when you're in a pinch. Not very fancy stuff, but it'll do for a night of sitting in front of the television, catching up on shows. I haven't tried too many of their desserts but their macarons are surprisingly good, and so is their pear almond tart. Skip the bread pudding -- that was not even worth eating. read more
