As a person with mobility challenges this store is a bit problematic from the start. I park in one of the ADA spots right up front but that is a rough parking lot - people really fly through so be careful. The front entrance is not a large one and the carts are very much nearly blocking it. There are a lot of plants and such as well. It looks nice but I just worry since people tend to just run right over people like me not noticing the cane. Luckily they do have easily accessible motorized carts though I leave it inside after using it in store because of the small entrance area. The self check (which was all that was open) is a lot as well. The great news is that it is a Kroger so you can use your Fred Meyer rewards card and you will need it because the prices are seemingly much higher. There are some great sales and they seem to have pretty great produce. Also, I will say that if you need flowers or things like that you will find some pretty gorgeous blooms. read more

Extremely Disappointing QFC Curbside Experience ( Barnes Road location) Ordering from QFC for curbside pickup has consistently been a frustrating experience--but today was by far the worst. Once again, the wrong item was selected, and this time the mix-up wasn't just inconvenient--it was infuriating. We ordered a $28 roast and instead received a $10 steak. When my spouse went into the store to resolve the issue, the shopper's response was simply, I don't know the difference in meats, "If it scans, it's the right item." He then walked away without assisting further--leaving my spouse standing there waiting for help. He came back to say that's the item you ordered and walked away again. To make matters worse, when I called and spoke with Jasper, a supervisor, who was combative and argumentative, insisting the machine wouldn't have allowed the wrong item to be scanned and blamed me for selecting the wrong product. At what point does common sense and human judgment come into play? A roast and a steak are clearly not the same thing.SMH. I understand that mistakes happen. But it's how those mistakes are handled that defines a company's service quality--and today, QFC failed on every front. Rather than acknowledging the error or working toward a resolution, we were blamed, dismissed, and left feeling like a burden for trying to correct it. This isn't the first time I've had issues with QFC's online shopping experience, but it may very well be the last. After today, I'm strongly considering switching to Zupan's, Market of Choice, or New Seasons--places that actually understand good customer service and hire knowledgeable staff. QFC would be wise to revisit their training processes and consider how to better empower employees to recognize basic product differences and treat customers with respect. If retaining loyal shoppers is a goal, today's experience was a masterclass in how to lose them. read more

I go there out of convenience but their "digital coupons" app- printed coupons, specials etc are all kindof a mess. It seems to me, when you scan you card or enter your phone number your coupons should automatically be applied but no- they aren't. And when you "clip" them they don't work either. And the people there, while nice, are clueless as to why the system works as it does. They are a huge company but their digital systems really suck. read more

Convenient location for people living around this part of town because there isn't much when it comes to grocery stores around here .Obviously unless you want to get stuck in traffic around Burnside and try the stores in Pearl and NW .I pop in when I am in hurry and have been able to get most of what I need -Dairy , Produce and breads . The store has a weird layout with the produce section all the way to the other side . Prices are slightly higher if you compare to other stores but if you have the rewards card they are sometimes at par . Staff is alright . Plenty of parking out front . read more

Let me preface this review by saying I live close to this establishment so I went there several times a week out of convenience. Then, after many mishaps, I made a point of going to an establishment much further from my home to avoid all of QFC's costly mistakes. You may ask what type of actions made you quit shopping there. Mainly the fact that there so called specials never rang up at the sale price, the digital coupons I'd clipped were never applied to my purchase, and there was one employee there that made me feel incredibly uncomfortable - Her actions were outright strange. I will say that in me recent visits I have not seen her so she may no longer work there. One to the main reason I'm writing this review. Against my better judgment, I stopped in to pick up several items. As it turned out several of my favorites had digital coupons that I could use towards the purchase so I bought more than I had planned on. Anyway, when I went to check out, the cashier was deep into a conversation with a customer and brought me into the conversation as it was my turn to checkout. The items were rung up and I inquired why my digital coupons hadn't been applied. They said, you have to show those to me prior to checking out. Auh, that's not how digital coupons work. I had entered my phone number so my account should have been accessed and the coupons applied. Well, they did apply at the end. I checked out, or so I thought, and left. As I was leaving, she continued to speak with me and scanned the next persons QFC card while ringing them up. I left. As I was loading my groceries into my vehicle, the cashier came across the parking lot asking me to come back in as my transaction was not complete. I went back and scanned my debit card again then completed the order. When I was given my receipt, it had items on it that I didn't purchase and my digital coupons were no longer applied to my order. Well after a great deal of time a manager finally came and gave me the cash value of the items on my ticket that I didn't purchase, I'm assuming these items were from the order following me, and I left. I never did get the money from the digital coupons returned which probably totaled about ten dollars' keep in mind, these are items I wouldn't have purchased in the first place if the coupons had not been available. Don't even get me started on the behaviors of the employee that made me quit shopping there in the first place. Never again... read more

Now that my favorite QFC on NE 33rd closed, and since there aren't any by my new home, if I'm in an area that has one, I stop in. Crazy, I know, but I loved my QFC! This location has an unusual store layout and I'm still getting used to the footprint and how they are organized. Unlike most stores where produce is on left and the deli in on the right perimeter, this store has produce and deli on right. In the same section as their bread and dairy. So while it goes against the strategic design of most stores that make you wander the entire store to get the items most people need - milk, bread, meat, produce - it works for me! This store has an ample wine selection. Don't forget to check out the cart that has closeout deals. Also has a Starbucks when you enter the left side door. A decent bakery and a very good cheese selection. Miss the friendliness of the old crew at NE 33rd. Here, no one greets you and I've never once been asked if I need help, even as I wonder around, clearly lost and in search of something. But I like the sale prices I get with my Rewards Membership and I like some of their specific products so I'll stop by when running errands in this location. read more

We moved from LO to Skyline area about 4 years ago. I 'discovered' QFC as a great place to acquire excellent meats and seafood. Have since moved back to LO, but find it worth my while to continue to go back to QFC. The prices and quality of their fresh meats and seafood are worth the trip. read more

I used to shop here weekly and did so for many years. Not so much recently. Nothing negative about QFC caused this change. I just moved to "bulk" purchasing options and the stores that specialize in that. This store is very close to me. Clean, bright, well laid out. They have pretty much anything I want. Lots of bread choices and other baked products. Good meat and seafood section. Prices are decent although a tad on the high side. The staff is generally fine. They have to walk a fine line between being "unwelcoming" and being "too" friendly. Personally, I prefer a store where the checkout people are fast and efficient. I'm not there for mindless banter.... I want to just pay my bill and be on my way. So from that perspective I find that some of the checkers need to scan more and talk less. Being a regular I know which check lines are the slowest although they usually have too few checkout lines open any time I am there. Annoyingly slow checkout experiences were certainly a factor in my move to shop elsewhere. Minus one star for that. The parking lot is a zoo. Poorly laid out and waaaaay too many cars. They must have a lot of fender benders every month up there. read more

This is sadly the closest store to my place. I feel bad leaving a bad review because the staff is so sweet and very helpful. But every time I get produce from here it is always awful. The garlic is sprouting every single time, the strawberries go bad one day after I buy them. I have tried thinking that maybe I'm just picking bad ones but it's been 4 times in a row where I always get the worst produce. read more

The manager can't control his food pickers for pickup orders. Or, they are instructed to dump expired fresh fruit containers on the customers. My last order had two Dated 4/1/22 sold on 4/7/22 to me. I've complained of this continuing behavior; it no avail. I suggest shopping someplace else. read more

This location is awesome. The store is organized really well and it's relatively small compared to most other grocery spots so you can find things super easily. They seem to always have some kind of free sample which is always a plus, and the employees are really nice! Plus, the sales are great. Even though this is Kroger owner, I usually find that I spend less at QFC than I do at Fred's as a result of the rewards membership. If you're going to shop here, having a membership is a must have! Also, always remember to stop by the back of the store near the pharmacy because they have a clearance rack where things seem to be about 75% off. The deli food is always tasting fresh and the pizza is delicious. Really there's not much room to improve - this store is amazing! read more

It's been more than 4 years since my last review and I felt that I need to update it because they semi-recently renovated. It's definitely for the better. They have a nice cheese section, bigger beer/cider selection and even growler fill station. They've seemingly lowered their prices too, and I never have to wait long to checkout either. I find myself going here more often than before. Ever since the recycling got increased to 10cents/bottle, they removed their recycling machine and now they would hand count your recycling (up to 24/day) in the front, I think it's nice because I don't have to fight with those stupid machines. read more

This QFC is absolutely fantastic. The produce is always fresh and appealing. The staff is amazing. There are rarely any lines and the people who check you out are friendly, warm and engaging. One of their stars is Jessica, the pharmacist. She will go above and beyond to make sure that you have what you need. Need an RX on short notice? She's got you. Need something unusual? She's got you. Have some extensive questions regarding medication for your psychotic friend? She has the answers. Need some advice about your ADHD daughter who cannot take pills? She'll get you going with a flavored liquid medication. Want a flu shot? Yep, that's Jessica. Need all of this during Covid? Absolutely. With absolute professionalism and the patience of a saint. Their other bright star is Regina; cashier extraordinaire. This woman has it all. She's professional, SO friendly, and will actually remember you. She'll ask about your kids, your pets, your husband......Most of which I wouldn't actually like, but from Regina, I'm honored that she's paying attention. She is really delightful. read more

QFC Beef? Floss Your Teeth! I ordinarily buy New Seasons "Oregon Country Beef," but was unable to make it to the store, and so tried "Laura's Lean Beef" hamburger at QFC. Upon unwrapping it, I noticed there seemed to be many more white flecks than expected throughout. After cooking and using in a taco, my dental interstices were packed with the remnants of "Laura's Lean Beef" and in desperate need of flossing. I've never experienced this with New Seasons' beef. Apparently, Laura's beef includes more tendon and other connective tissue detritus of the formerly living ruminants. I tossed the remainder. As for the store is a whole -- three stars. read more

Use caution when shopping here. I was overcharged $184.47 when I used my debit card to buy around $15 worth of food. I made the mistake of not getting a receipt before getting on with my day. Unfortunately, I spoke to a manager and they told me to call their support center, which lead to a runaround with my bank. Nobody at QFC or their corporate owner, Kroger, have provided any help. I'm still waiting to hear from my bank. read more

What this store may lack in variety and everyday value, it exceeds in customer service. There are always employees walking around happy to answer questions and help however they can. For a small-medium store, it has a good bakery, deli, and alcohol selection. Dairy and frozen food could use more selection and produce quality is usually good with occasional misses. It's best for a quick stop and shopping sales. Truly, the sales here are better than sales at Safeway. (Disclaimer: I also really like Safeway.) QFC has a fewer number of items on sale at any given time, but they are at a DEEP discount--check out the Saturday-only sales. I recently got a 5-lb bag of flour and packages of name-brand cookies for $.99 each. It's also usually the cheapest place in town to buy eggs, butter, cilantro, soda, cake mix, and other random items. They had the best price on pumpkins this fall. Other things cost more, but like I said, shop the sales or if you just need something quick and it's on the way home, eat it--you can get in and out pretty darn quickly most of the time. Cashiers are very competent with plenty of baggers available. LOVE that it's open 24 hours. Wish they delivered. Check out the app--it's very user-friendly, has coupons to load to your card, easy-to-spot sales, and super-easy listmaking. Not overwhelming like some apps. Once I started shopping on a regular basis, I started receiving personalized coupons in the mail. Final note, they could use some better cart maintenance. Storing them outside (but covered) in a wet climate is not wise and takes a toll on the wheels. read more

Produce quality kinda depends on the day and it's a little pricier than other grocery stores but I really can't beat the location. Oh, and they carry my favorite ice cream from back in Ohio! Hmmm now that I decided to write one what to say about a grocery store? This Krogers owned grocery chain is a bit more expensive then most were I shop. However I come because it is so close to home. The store is always clean and well stalked and often has good sales. Perhaps because QFC started in Seattle there are items that are hard to find elsewhere like Beecher's cheese curds with herbs and Ivar's salmon chowder. They also have a nice selection of northwest jams. There is a Starbucks located just inside the front door which is odd because there is another Starbucks a few doors down. I like that they have 2 sizes of carts as well as baskets and I like that checkout is always quick and easy. read more

This QFC is in a great location if you live in the west hills, conveniently located off of Barnes and Miller Rd. It's also in close proximity to a few other smaller specialty shops. The meat and seafood department are not open very late which is a downside if you're looking for a specific cut that isn't available in the case. The deli department carries the Boar's Head brand which is superior to many of the other deli meats, but the prices can be a little steep, so look for the deals in the weekly flyer. Decent wine and beer selection and a good section of chilled items. Overall the store is always clean, open late, and has a good selection. read more

I couldn't do full grocery shopping here due to prices (I could its but not a good financial decision. Yeah I hate winco but you leave there spending $40/50 less than you would here) Here are the reasons why I like this store and I think in the end.. it is due to their high prices and the caliber of customers. That and it's near my home. No one is shopping here in their pajamas Kids don't play on the floor and run in the isles No one puts their mouth under bulk foods chutes. Everyone has all their teeth.. Or appears to. No one is hassling you for anything on the way in/out. They don't scream over the intercom then slam the handset down. The joint is clean, I don't feel I need to swab down after shopping. Most every car in the lot is 40k more than mine, they won't door ding me or hit n run me. We have a ...yes you read that right....A...as in one.. homeless man that has lived in our area for YEARS. He causes no harm, talks to no one but himself. When it's cold they allow him to sit at a table inside the doors. I'm sure they do other things for him as well and I think that's a nice gesture as he has been a 'part' of the community for years and causes no harm. The day he starts begging with a god bless sign I'll be sick of him. Ever notice how religious ramp beggars are? None seem to be atheists. Huh Oh and props to Angelica (?) front end supervisor... I need to refill a prescription every month, and I've lived across the street from this pharmacy for over a year. In that time, there have been 3 incidents where I've called to order my medication, only to find that the order has not gone through. This past week, they informed me that they were out of the medication, and put an order on hold for me at the Fred Meyer in Hillsdale. I was very grateful that they helped me and went to the one and only Fred Meyer in Hillsdale - the pharmacist there informed me that the medication is actually in Raleigh Hills, not Hillsdale. It's unacceptable that this pharmacy has made errors nearly 1 out of 4 visits. We're not dealing with clothes or food here - this is medicine that actually affects people's lives. Best QFC in town in my opinion. Open 24 hours. Staff are friendly and helpful. Prices are on par with the Kroger chain. I don't agree with price complaints. I watch price points on routine items and they are comparable with Fred Meyer on nearly everything. I've seen FM prices exceed this QFC, and the reverse. But on average, I think the QFC is more than competitive. It's not a monster Fred Meyer, and that's one of many things I appreciate. Easy access to everything, quickly. I drop in regularly, because it's painless! I'll continue to give this store as much business as possible. Neighborhood store locations are dwindling. I appreciate the big FM stores, but for routine shopping, the QFCs smaller footprint and 24 hour convenience in the neighborhood wins hands down. read more

I really like QFC. They bend over backwards to provide good service. The produce is excellent, as is the bakery. They often have quality or higher end brands that Safeway and Fred Meyer (both good stores) just don't carry. Sure, you pay for them but it's good food, nutritional. I strongly believe you get what you pay for. Grocery Outlet is okay for some things, but when in comes to nutrition in the US, quality counts (we have so much mass produced 'plastic' food). Also good: selection of natural foods (larger) and imports. Stong paper bags with handles. Effort to provide variety of environmentally sensitive products. read more

Since we live just a mile from this store I usually go in between times to the big stores like the Fred Meyer in Beaverton or the Costco store in Hillsboro. With the Corvid-19 virus I've stopped going to the big stores maybe once a month. QFC IS A SMALL GROCERY AND SINCE ITS Kroger I get rewards for my gas as well as many coupons for additional savings... having said good things I'll tell of my most recent visit yesterday. Yes the store has one way in and great people cleaning each basket before entering...after they marked the aisles one way with green arrows it was so nice to do the aisles with no bumping people and baskets... not so yesterday! More than 1/2 had no masks on and were strolling the aisles like they owned the store!!! It made it twice as long for me to do the right thing wait for them to move then proceed. No one asked them to comply with masks or one way shopping!! Maybe to afraid to comfort them!! I'll continue to shop at this QFC store but will try going earlier when perhaps these people who don't think of others are at the bar!! read more

Generally a decent store but clearly something has changed recently. Employees are not as friendly and welcoming as they used to be. Staples for warm summer days such as fresh baked chicken aren't available during dinner hours. Very disappointed lately with this location, hopefully it gets sorted out soon. read more

There are so many things to dislike about QFC. The selection is not great, there is not much to choose from in the natural or organic food category, the store layout makes no sense, and the prices are higher than other grocery stores. But... QFC is open 24 hours which is awesome. As I sometimes work late, having a store open at odd hours so close to home is great. Its also really nice to be able to get cough syrup or some other remedy late at night. The speedy self checkout and in store Starbucks are also pretty handy. All of the employees are friendly and helpful. As much as I want to give an awful review, I just can't. I am glad QFC is close by. read more

I only go here in a pinch as it can be kinda spendy. However, the service great and the selection is quite nice as well.

This grocery store is very convenient to my house, but pricey. I guess beyond the usual comments though, I want to repeat what I reported to QFC several months ago. The womens bathroom needs a plumber and handyman's help. The handicap stall's toilet is in need of major repairs so it will flush consistently. And the second stall's door latch doesn't latch often. Better prices than Albertson's or Safeway, but not enough selection in several different categories. They would benefit a lot from a wider variety of organic produce, as well as more ethnic food. This location in particular needs a renovation -- their facilities seem old and therefore don't make it too appealing to get quality food there. Still, the people are generally very nice, and they don't mind providing good service. I haven't had a bad experience there. read more

Favorite local store! They just remodeled too and they are going more towards the "Whole Foods" feel. They have an awesome cheese section! And they have samples everyday. They have a great growler station! The staff is always helpful and friendly! I've had a few of their deli sandwiches and they are tasty and affordable.
