Have been coming to this exact one for 10 years they are always fresh and will have me out the door in 5 minutes the chips are way better then chipotle and so is the queso my favorite part about creating a bowl adding tortilla strips, hands-down my favorite topping just left and my food is delicious will be back this week for sure read more

First time coming to this location, will never go back. The tall lightsking guy has the nastiest attitude ever. He was clearly on his monthly. I got a mini bowl & asked for half chicken half steak. He told me they don't do that it would be an extra charge then continued to put half of everything in my bowl...so if I did get an extra meat I would have to pay extra for a half portion? Have alway had great service here. Place is clean Staff polite Food is hot and freshly made Slightly by watching the manager pick a piece of food off the grill with his gloved hand then eat it. It is fast food - something different than the usual burger joint and the atmosphere is trendy. This time I opted for the 3 taco combo and when the cashier put it in the bag she literally dumped all the toppings out of the hard shells- didn't know this till I got back to the office. The food itself is good, usually hot and fresh and it's hard for them to screw it up when you watch them make it. It literally is a not self serve taco buffet. The best part they have that amazing soda machine that has like 100 combos of soda - I opted for barques cream soda - great to pair with nacho tacos! read more

Very pleased with the turnaround this place has made. Before COVID, the staff was incredibly rude and made me feel like I was a nuisance for wanting food. Food was filling and tasted good. So today I came back for seconds. It was busier than yesterday, but service was still great and food simply delicious. I really hate to be posting this but my experience today's has to be the worst in the last 5 years of me visiting this location. I walked in at 12:03 and they were still setting up and the side doors locked. I was looked at like I was bothering them. My food was slapped together with no care, and all my sauces were not added to the bag. I received the last of the queso,the last of the fajita veggies, and food is luke warm! A step up from Taco Bell, not designed around spice/heat junkies, but available heat makes it something for everyone.

New workers are ridiculously lazy. Charged me for the wrong bowl and laughed when I asked for my chips on the side took me 15 minutes to get through the line when there was two people in front of me very unsatisfied with my order workers were slow and had a attitude the entire time normally I am very happy with my food here but not today they changed my mind on this establishment. I'm a big fan of this place. I come here at least once every other week if not every week. In the past I used to get the large burritos. I would always go into a carb coma afterwards though. Also, even though I wouldn't need to eat dinner after eating a burrito for lunch, I felt like it was going to my waistline. The burritos are just that big. Recently I switched to the Craft Two and get two steak soft tacos and the 3-Cheese nachos. It seems like the perfect meal. If you don't come here at peek times (11:30-12:45 or 5:00-6:00) it doesn't seem like there is an overly long line. If you come during the peek hours you might have to wait. I've never found the place to be dirty, the food is always fresh, and there's enough variety to please most people though they don't have a gluten-free menu which really is a buzz-kill for my wife. They have that new super-soda machine with 120 flavors of pop or whatever, but I just get water most of the time and put a slice of lemon and lime in it. You really don't need an extra 700 calories from a sweet drink when you are eating here. read more

Sorry to say this but this location has been going downhill. Past few times location has been unkept, tables not cleaned, staff not keeping up with ice, plastic ware.Today staff slow on responding to customers inline waiting to be served. Cashier asked twice for help up front before help came out. The portions have gotten smaller and just slopping food in bowls. The food containers very low and just scrapping the bottom to get an order, how about changing them out prior to this happening. Nobody wants the bottom of the barrel. It's called rotating to make the product look good. When you pay $8 plus for a bowl you should get a quality product and amount. Also the cashier should not be handling money and food. After eating at this location a multitude of times, I have realized a few things: 1. Any item that is ordered in some manner other than how the employees are trained feels like a huge inconvenience. The staff act like you just asked them the biggest task in the world to put sauce on the side or some other menial task. 2. The staff is rude. Very rude. 3. The staff consistently makes mistakes. You have to watch them like a hawk or they will forget things you ask for, or even add things you did not ask for. 4. If your order is larger than two items, be cautious. The chance of mistake increases exponentially with each item. I don't like writing negative reviews, but this has just become ridiculous. I truly wish this establishment would clean up its act and provide the same quality service like that of other Qdoba locations. read more

The food is delicious as usual, but cleanliness is a basic requirement for which this restaurant falls way short. The restaurant was mostly empty but my wife and I still had to clean a table for our family to use. Lids were also empty and there was trash all over the floor. I went to eat on the 3rd of August. Checked their mask policy, on the door stated masks required. As I walked in the door, my mask on, a young man was exiting and coughed in my face, he did not have a mask on. Talked to Steve, a supposed General Manager, who told me that masks are not required, but the would like you to wear one. Their corporation says it's a suggestion. In the State of Michigan it's a requirement. Steve is very sorry that happened. I'm a 64 yr old diabetic who is very careful about going out and does not as a rule go out. I haven't been to a restaurant since March. My kids took me out for my birthday. Steve said I could call curbside, how was i to know they were only kidding about customers wearing masks. read more

I wasn't impressed. First of all, I don't like burritos that are stuffed full of rice and black beans. That is how they make their food, though. It is what it is. All the meat in my burrito was charred but the burrito was cold... don't know what happened there. The "smothered" burrito we ordered was a burrito with the coagulated sauce all smudged on. Blech. The store was kinda janky because nobody appears to tody the eating area between guests. I thought most of the junk on my burrito lacked flavor and maybe if they didn't run out of pico de gallo midway through my order it would be different but I would have had to wait 30 minutes if I wanted it badly enough. Seems like they should preemptively make enough of their most popular salsa for the dinner rush... that's just me though. read more

I love Mexican food and was excited when this place opened in Taylor, near my office. However, I would rate it as average. They do not have a lot of selection for vegetarians (most of the meals are chicken or beef). I would like it is they had a fish or tofu option with the meals, but my husband and I subbed black beans and it was fine. The chips and salsa are awesome. if you order soda, the machine you get it from is pretty kewl and has a HUGE selection of diet and regular sodas. My eyes lit up when I saw huges sides of beef and chicken grilling on an open grill located in right behind the serving counter. I got the Queso Diablo which translates "devil cheese". I am not sure why it was named that as it wasnt all that spicy or cheesy. It was a huge burrito. Maybe the biggest I have seen. What made it so big was the massive amount of rice they put in it. This is a trick they must have borrowed from Taco Bell. Fill the thing with rice and skimp on the meat. I saw some grilled veggies that I thought would end up in my burrito but I am not sure that they did. The meat I admired earlier was in there somewhat, cut up into bite size chunks. The workers, though lightening fast, were not very helpful. I walked out full, but barely satisfied. The huge amount of rice seemed to drown out the taste of the other ingrediants. Really lackluster experience. The trash cans were over flowing, the tables were dirty, half the flavors of the coke machine were out but the worst was the service and food. The employees were almost yelling at each other, no one was in the main dining area or behind the counter when we got there, the man making the burrito was very rude; shortening his sentences to almost illegible grunts, then getting mad when you asked him to repeat himself. The food was also not what I have come to expect from Qdoba. The portions were weird, barely any substance with a huge serving of chunky guacamole that had very large pieces of avocado. If you've ever been to Moe's , very similar. I ordered a burrito created by yours truly. This this...was as big as my head. They have so many options and ingredients to use , I didn't know where to begin. The burrito itself was just so flavorful and filling, I could only get down half. I walked in and noticed I was the only one in line. There were about 3 people behind the counter working. They acknowledged me but still took 5 minutes for them to come over and help. The chain overall I would probably give a 4-star, but this location is deserving of a full 5-star rating. The staff is the best, place is always clean, the food is always warm/fresh, the portion sizes are hit or miss but if you ask them to hit it with another scoop they will.
