The food did not answer any calls even for DoorDash DoorDash says they cannot give me my money back because I on Popeyes website and it was up to Popeyes to give me my money back. Run to any other Popeyes location, like literally you could get to another location by foot and still receive your food faster. Tried to pick up our online order placed at 7:22pm, only to find they locked the lobby. So we were forced to wait in the drive thru line for what will be more than 2 hours and as I say that because we are STILL waiting with no end in sight (9:25pm). It's at a stand still and unfortunately we already paid, their customer service is laughable, as I'm trying figure out how to get a refund because this is wild. Update: We finally made it to the window at 10pm (because we just wanted to see how long it would actually end up taking) and they locked the window, shut off the lights to the lobby and outside and decidedly closed the entire restaurant down without explanation. This store has the worst service! The worst attitutes! The worst training! No common sense! Because of past experiences at this location, I have literally not been here since well before the pandemic. It was probably 2018 when I last patronized this location because the service has been so terrible. Today, 11/29/2023 (3:36 PM), I decided to try to give them a chance. I was optimistic that after 5 years or more, surely the service has improved. Sadly, that was not the case. I arrived and proceeded to the drive thru window since it was cold out. Besides, I was just there for 2 Spicy Chicken Sandwiches. A straight forward order, nothing complicated or overwhelming. Only one other car in line at the time, which was in front of me. A reasonably quick in&out is what I had my fingers crossed for... but no dice. It took awhile as usual. But I still had hope there would be no issues, again because my order was straight forward, simple... 2 Spicy Chicken Sandwiches. Well, when it was my turn to pull up to the window, I did just that. No one was there. But I patiently waited and eventually an African American female (per my receipt, Host: Drive-thru 60069) showed up on the other side of the turnstile window. She said nothing, proceeded to push out my order bag, then reversed the turnstile back because (I'm assuming) she realized it had not been paid for yet. Then she walked away from the window. She still has not greeted me nor said a word to me. So I place my credit card under the metal coin holder on the turnstile and ensured that it made a "clank" sound to ensure she knew I placed my payment method on the turnstile so that she could initiate the transaction. She did come back, turned the turnstile to retrieve the card, stood at the window and made a motion which appeared that she swiped my card. Then this is where things get weird, she looked at me then stepped away from the window without giving me my card or order bag which was still sitting near the turnstile (I could see it). So I'm yelling out "Hello... Hello... Hello!" When she came back that's when she quickly placed my card and bag in the turnstile to push out to me. But before she did I proceeded to ask "did you just walk away with my card?". She IMMEDIATELY became irate saying "Didn't nobody walk off with your card!" along with many other choice words I will spare you, the reader of this review, from. But let's just say, she was irate about being questioned about walking away from the window with my card and attempting to convince me that she never walked out of my sight with my card. But if you're not in my sight's view that means you walked away. She then, while communicating in a irate tone, now with the microphone off (but I could still hear her), pushes the turnstile out with my bag and card saying something to the affect of "Ain't nobody trying to lose their job over...". I then grabbed my bag and card and said "I'm questioning why you walked away with my card". She continued to yell with the mic off. I then said, "I need my receipt", so she then (while standing at the window, I might add) printed out my receipt (Drive-thru receipt# 684), placed it in the turnstile and pushed it out to me. I grabbed the receipt to review it and ensure it was indeed my receipt, then she said "The receipt is correct! 2 chicken sandwiches". By that time, and I assume due to the commotion she was making, another employee, African American male wearing a plastic apron, walked up to the window next to her. She continued yelling, while he was trying to get her to calm down, so I said to him "I'm just trying to find out why she walked away from the window with my credit card". She then walked away from the window yelling, as he attempted to de-escalate her, and apologized to me several times for her behavior. Needless to say, I will be canceling this card and having another re-issued. read more

We've ordered from this place twice, and both times had the same problem. I ordered the 12 pc Chicken box, no sides just chicken. Both times the chicken was way overcooked almost to the point of being burnt, it was very dry, and even though we received 12 pieces, we got one leg, two wings, a breast, the rest were thighs. No, I didn't come all the way out here just to visit Popeye's lol :) I was heading to the airport to pickup family member and I had plenty of time before they landed, so stopped by for lunch. The drive-thru was busy and since I had lot of time, opted to dine-in. I walked in and there were around 10 people ahead of me, but thankfully the line did move fast, in all it took 15 minutes - to wait, order and to get my food. Everyone waiting was ordering sandwich and thankfully, they had pre-made the sandwiches already, so it was just matter of packing your order together. Most of popeye's locations got their logistics in order in how to handle the sandwiches... at this location, they kept making them and filling up the baskets every 15 minutes... the location by my place, they are still working out their issues. read more

I ordered chicken tenders. She said chicken wings. I said no. Sweet and spicy chicken tenders. I received my order and when I got home I had chicken wings, no straw or plastic ware for the macaroni and cheese. I specifically told her chicken tenders twice and told her no wings. There is always a long line. I called the number and it says it is disconnected or no longer in service. What kind of place are you running? I tried to call to let you know. The inside of store is not open during advertised hours. When you are in a hurry, then you may want to go elsewhere unless you confirm there is not a line at the drive thru. I have ordered and paid on the app a few different times, each time it has been 60-85 minute wait. The speaker at the pickup window sucks so it is hard to understand the person talking. The most recent experience, I told the order speaker I had 2 orders on the app (because I had planned on stopping at 2 different places for food, then saw with the line that I would not make it to the Thai place before they closed, so I ordered more food). When I got to the pickup window, the car in front of me was throwing a fit. A man got out of the car and pounded on the window and flipped off the employees inside. When I spoke to the pickup window, a man gave me 1 of my orders. I said I had 2 separate orders. The man said the car in front of me picked up 1 of my orders. Thr man did not act as if he could help or do anything about that. After not leaving, I showed the employee my phone. More waiting and more waiting. Then he handed me a second order of food. Instead I go to the restaurant to pick up my order. I was supposed to go inside for my order. The store was locked I had to wait in the drive through line that was wrapped around the restaurant. This location does not answer the phone nor Allow indoor seating still. The sign promotitheir blackened chicken sandwich is still on the menu board but they discontinued it two weeks ago. The service has remained turtle-like slow for years and their accuracy of orders is sub par.
