Ordered the shrimp bowl from the Qdoba in Shiloh tonight online. Went to pick it up, a little after 9 p.m., I grabbed it from the area where they put the too-go orders. They asked me my name, one of the girls sheepishly, said all right. Seemingly to go ahead and take it. Got in the car. Checked it. Looked fine. When I got home, I took the first bite and it was in no-where near what I ordered. It was some kind of spicy burrito. Fortunately, I only live a few minutes away, so I went back. Walked in and said this isn't what I ordered and explained what had happend.. One of the girls said, "We're out of shrimp, I guess we forgot to tell you." Same girl who said, it was OK to take my order. They were just hoping, I lived far enough away that I would settle for what they had given me and not come back and complain. Fortunately, I got a refund. (If they would have been honest, I probably would have just changed my order). But since they tried to mess with me. F-them. This store informed me that they will NOT allow you to order kids meals unless the children are present in store. Despite ordering 3 adult meals when picking up food for my entire family. This is brain dead policy that lacks common sense they expect me to always have my kids with me in a 2 parent household? What about to-go orders and DoorDash? Do I need to unload the kids so they can verify? This is not a company policy but just terrible management who doesn't know how families operate. read more

Despite the fact that this location has been improving recently ,recently they took a big step back. Today, they were out of 4 items today (and rather unapologetic about it). The lettuce looked absolutely terrible. They broke my wife's burrito onto the counter, and instead of making her a new one they scooped up the mixed burrito filling off of the counter with their hands and slopped it into a new tortilla (leaving a quarter of the fillings behind and making me wonder about the sanitariness of the metal counter). read more

I ordered delivery from this place on Friday night. I got the nachos, vegetarian style, and picked all my toppings. It was easy to order online, and only took about 35 minutes until it was delivered. They gave me the chips in a bag with the toppings all mixed together in a bowl. I put the chips on a plate and covered them with the toppings, heated them up in the microwave for about a minute. It was really good actually! I had enough leftover for two meals. It cost me $20 for vegetarian nachos, but it was good, and that's just what stuff costs these days. My family was passing through, heading home from the end of a loooong road trip. They have Qdoba back at Home but not where we live now, so we went in to see what was new. At this establishment, it reminded me of an off-brand Chipotle. More so than it used to. Service was quick. The staff was respectful of our eating preferences and/or limitations. Everything tasted good and fresh! We were not disappointed in the least and I was left with a better memory of Qdoba than the one I had from back Home. Thank you!! Keep up the good work! (No Covid restrictions or anything of any kind in here, though. From what I could tell the day we went, none of the staff members or customers were wearing masks.) read more

All Employees were well structured behind the line and polite. I don't understand some of the negative reviews, as the food is made right before your eyes, exactly how you tell them you want it. Restaurant was clean and up to code with proper signs displayed. Some of the tables were closed but there were open tables and nobody that couldn't get a table if they wanted to. Gave Qdoba a shot yesterday TACOs! I have to say it was very good on multiple levels. First: Selection of ingredients were excellent, with various tasty salsas, and toppings to choose from. Romaine lettuce, Guac,Pico De Gallo,Cheese, grilled Veggies on Soft or Hard Shell. The thing that stood out was the fact their ground beef now has Chili Seasoning in it, and is flavorful! (Great Job Qdoba On this change,far more flavorful than in the past) Queso and chip side added, one of us got crunchy shells,the other soft flower shells. Staff were on point getting the job done.... and the best part? The Price Point is on par with that other fast food Taco place who's ingredients and even close to Qdoba's fresh flavorful goodness! (Did I mention other Taco places stopped serving flavorful things like Pico De Gallo, but QDoba still has it, So they will be getting our Taco Business! Great Job Guys! read more

Horrible service, food was disgusting and made me very sick about 4 hours later and the restaurant was filthy and disgusting. Went there for lunch yesterday, 11/2/23, and couldn't find a table or booth that didn't look like the bottom of a trash can. Staff were rude and lazy and almost everything was empty or close to empty. They had to scrape the bottom of the containers for all items. Taste was bad and I got very sick when I got home, but will spare the details. This location should be closed or reviewed by the health authorities. Horrible!!! I normally love Qdoba, but this was a waste of time to stop. To start off, they were out of multiple items and were not going to refill. The grilled veggies and chicken were ice cold. The workers did not seem to know what they were doing. Multiple people just standing around. I know everyone is short staffed now-a-days but there were 8 workers and only two on the line. Horrible Customer Service!! Absolutely Disgusting!! I visited this QDOBA on a Wednesday evening at 7pm. It was on July 21 ,2021. When I walked in I noticed 5 employees behind the counter laughing & talking. They weren't paying much attention to a line full of customers. The counter top where food is served was extremely dirty from previous orders. Food was splashed all over it. Not one employee attempted to clean it up. After waiting in line 10 mins I walked out. As I started walking out the employees laughed. I generally like eating at this QDOBA but after this experience I'll never visit again. read more

I just wanted to say Thank You to the staff team at Qdoba Shiloh IL. I came in today 1/17/2021 to order a carry out out. My app wasn't working due to wifi issues. The ladies that were assisting each customer service were sooooo awesome! They were professional, helpful and patient with each customer even as the line grew longer. Manager awful charged twice for food ordered on app was told one order was cancelled and would be refunded and 17 days later still no refund manager stated will take a couple of days... Manager would not listen to anything nor did he even care. Will not be going back very poor customer service and not sure how he even became a manager. Watch your credit cards! read more

I went there for lunch yesterday. One person in front of me in line and it took 10 minutes for somebody to take my order, then it started getting backed up. The cashier was so lost and screwed the order of the person in front of me up, then started working on a call in order while my food sat for an astonishing 15 minutes on the counter. When she FINALLY got back to the register, she was checking out people who came in way after I did. I just left. I'm Californian, being from out of state I was told this place was just the same as Chiplote...NOT! They slap your food into a bowl like they're serving slop at chow time, they skimp on everything so I got less than 1/2 a bowl and the rice & black beans were Under cooked. I think a 1/2 of spoon of chicken/beef is horrible servings. We also ordered a cheese & chicken quesadilla and the girl kept asking what I wanted on it.. "just want a cheese & chicken quesadilla" she said, I know but what do you want on it, "a basic cheese & chicken quesadilla is what I want", yes I know but do you want anything on it... "omg, I just want a tortilla with cheese and chicken in the middle, that's it nothing more just a plain cheese & chicken quesadilla." I don't think a basic order should've been that difficult. We put in all 3 adult orders get to the register only to be told we had to wait because they hadn't made our darn quesadilla! So 1 person ahead of us and 3 people behind us, we finally got our unsatisfying quesadilla. There was no one cooking fresh food, the containers were all very low and approximately 6 people behind the counter including a manager but they all seemed to be scrambling, unorganized and the line was only getting longer by the minute. Not sure how this place does but honestly the center should look into obtaining a Chiplote. Their online ordering and pickup is completely unreliable. This is the second time I've tried. I've got three hungry boys at home and this time, when my husband went o pick up the food they said the never got the order, despite me having paid online with a confirmation email received. The first time; they were over 30 minutes later than the scheduled pickup time. I understand that these are rough times, but reliability is of utmost importance for people with children. Best experience I have ever had hands down amazing service great staff spectacular food definitely not my last time

In a trilogy of visits something crazy has happened that Ive never seen before. Visit number 1: out of about 1/3 of our requested ingredients. Not currently cooking, or they just ran out, but missing for what they told us "since earlier today". Were talking basics, like queso, hot sauce, veggies, etc. Visit number 2: only 1 worker had a mask on in the middle of a pandemic here. And it wasnt the one that was handling our food. They were out of protein, with more cooking so we waited. When it was done the worker told the person making our food "dont give out too much of this cause we need to make it last". We got 1/2 spoons of proteins on our items, capped off with stale tortillas that might have well been chips. Visit number 3: An online order. Pull into parking lot to get our food. Only to be greeted by some kind of Royal Rumble/physical fight ongoing with the workers that spills out into the dinning area with one of them screaming to call the cops. Cops were called, store was closed, never got our meal. (Got a refund later on after multiple call attempts, eventually reached out weeks later to their Twitter feed to get someone at corporate!) I honestly think they are filming some kind of MTV reality show in there. read more

Qdoba has always been a favorite go-to for fast casual Mexicanish. I love that you can have any topping on your food. They used to up charge you for guacamole and other things. My favorite is the Anco Chili Nachos with chicken. I also love the recent renovation that made the place more open and have a better flow. They also have beer on tap. We were there just two days ago on 16 Nov, and had the same bad experience. Tables weren't wiped down, counters were filthy, floors were disgustingly dirty, soda machine was nasty, hired help was too busy chatting it up and having fun. None of them knew what they were doing and seemed unsure of the menu items offered. They were very hesitant to give decent portions of anything and didn't want to restock out of stock items (e.g. lettuce). Employees acted like my wife was nuts when she wanted more than one sliver of lettuce. "Background" music was super loud and annoying. An employee came to our table when I had a mouthful of food 2 minutes before closing and told us they were closing at 6pm, but no rush... Then why bother me while I'm still eating...at least have the decency to wait until I'm done stuffing my face. It didn't appear anyone was in charge. I've never really liked Qdoba but was taking my wife here as a treat since she likes it...or used to. This will be our last visit to this Qdoba location. Just awful... Yes, its a franchise. I am only writing this because I had something new that I had never even noticed on their menu before and loved it. It was actually the recommendation of the very friendly server who made it for me. Its called mexican gumbo, and here's how it goes: They take your choice of rice (white) Add your choice of beans (black) Ladle their tortilla soup over it Add your choice of meat (shredded pork) Add your choice of salsa (verde) Add cheese and sour cream (I declined these) It was one of the best lunches I've had in a while and I will crave it enough to go back and eat it again. read more
